I've played for almost five years now, and I think that the flutes in my band don't know anything about dynamics. They always play at like, a double forte.
It kinda sucks though, considering that we even sometimes drown out the percussion. And were have seven percussionists too. xd

HI. I PLAY FLUTE AND PICCOLO. AND WOOHOO! I'M THE BEST OUT OF MY WHOLE SCHOOL'S BAND! I'M IN FIRST CHAIR AND ONLY IN 7TH GRADE. ^^

well i play flute and we only have one flute and one piccolo. so ha to all who hate the flute section. We still kick but.

Hey did anyone else know about these weird things that you stick in your flute keys? They're called plugs, and you take them out so your flute is prettier for concerts, but it's harder to play without them. My flute doesn't even HAVE plugs! gonk

xXbluefoxXx fullyalive0 xXbluefoxXx fullyalive0 xXbluefoxXx Jeff-Er-Aay Well actually. one of my best friends is a guy flute player! we sit next toeach other we have great fun i dont know what i'd do without him. he's staright as a post:] and well i also know a gay guy flute player so i dont do stereotypes!! :] Well, I'm not sayin' all are straight, I know some have to be gay. So, pretty much, the stereotype needs to die. And be burned. And to fullyalive, we might be able to shove one of them in there. But, I'll get our huge bass drum, and 2 of these other new drums that we have, but I have no idea what they're called. But, they're big and round, so rollin' them down the hill, will still be fun. twisted GENIUS thats a wonderfull plan... twisted Yep! Ooh and we could put like, 50 metronomes in there, all going at different times, so while they're rolling down the hill, they'd be driven mad by the metronome! It bothered the heck out of me when my band director used one once, so I know 50 has to be torture! twisted ILL GO GET DR BEAT it gets loud and it can do diffrent things! like actually count...it get evil... twisted twisted twisted Bwahaha! They will all regret the day they decided to mess with the guy I like! twisted wow...what about makeing fun of the other guy flutes... ANYWHO dont forget that when the decide to no longer make fun of guy flute then they also become our slaves to do our chores and clean our instuments and do what ever we tell them to *starts listing embarassing things for them to do* twisted twisted twisted twisted twisted

I play the flute
I got this awesome semperi flute, first one sold in our city (big city area: houston) and i love it to death, except for the pinky key makes the MOST OBNOXIOUS click/clacking noise.
I'm trying the piccolo out for school. Since I don't own one, I have to use the school, which come's with NO CLEANING ROD...disgusting, I know. Not only that, but it's semi-broken, entirly out of tune....but I can still play it pretty well. sweatdrop
