Speed was on the Drillbur's side. If the pokemon had wanted ...he could have sliced that pokemon open from head to toe, afterall, it was the fastest that attacked first. If taken out of term some bad things could happen, but he was still having fun as he would lower his head in his own form for a defense and would aim to send the pokemon tumbling over his back with a almost flipping sort of a motion.
This was fun for him.

Elijah almost cringed as Venus's attack did nothing to the Kabuto, Elijah didn't want to but he had no other choice in the matter now, "Venus return!" Elijah called out zapping the Chikorita into her ball before she could even stop him. "Alright Snap, get in and finish this little guy off so we can move on," Elijah said with almost a sad look on his face. He really wished Venus could have finished this match off but he didn't want her to get hurt or worse. Snap floated past Elijah's shoulder and on to the battle field, getting ready for the Kabuto to attack so she could get her chance to show off her power.

The Kabuto smirked a bit, this switch in opponents was good ...very good for him ...as he wink at her. She wasn't as cute as the last one, but maybe, just maybe ....she would be the type whom easily fall for a good looking guy like herself as he gave a little wink.
The Kabuto would start off his attacks by using Captivate.

Moves: Tackle, Dark Pulse Exp:37/100 The Poochyena hadn't really been paying much attention to things. The Cubone just kept leading the way and Fang kept glancing back to make sure that Kane was still around. The female kept a secure hold on his paw and so he could only keep moving forward with her. Just as they were passing, something startled the group. She released his paw and he pushed forward accidentally. It was a Tackle attack but only pure coincidence. Kyo's attack hadn't been as strong as they usually were. In fact, it looked downright pathetic. The white and red pokemon's gaze narrowed. He needed to stay calm and focus. The Zangoose stood watching his opponent awaiting the Ducklett's next move! [1/10] Kyo the Zangoose, Lvl 4 [M] Adamant HP: 19/21, PP: 22, ATK: 15, DEF: 11, SPD: 13, SP. ATK: 12, SP. DEF: 9 Moves: Scratch, Leer, Night Slash Item: Razor Claw Exp: 133/300 Bio: Jade was wandering on Mirage Island alone when a pokemon attacked him from behind. Shedding blood and giving him a deep wound on his back and arm, he quickly called Namiko out to protect him. After a fierce battle in which the Lapras was winning, he decided to use his only pokeball and catch the powerful pokemon. He would flap his wings powerfully ....as he would quack loudly. It wasn't enough to kill, but injury ...as the bird would gain more attitude. Opening his mouth wide ...he would act as though he was going to give that Zangoose a splashing, but at the last moment his attack would change as he flaps his wings powerfully.
Each flap would bring on a gust of wind as the Ducklett quacked.

The tackle releasing of her paw would make her turn around swiftly as she looked at him in shock. Though at the sight of the charging Diglett and his responding slash she would simply draw her paws up in a sign of admiration of his deed.
(you teach him a lesson or two)
The Diglett would be sent skidding away ....as the sand had deep funnels carved in it by his passing. Eventually though he would come to a stop as he showed his anger as his nose bleed or at least the area on the Diglett that a nose should be bleed. As the pokemon glares at him in anger and then duck into the ground in defense of himself.
(I shall caution you about attacking like that....please remember the fastest is suppose to attack first)

Moves: Tackle, Dark Pulse Exp:37/100 The Poochyena had slammed into the Diglett pretty strongly. The dark pokemon looked up and saw that the ground pokemon was trying to disappear into a hole. Fang wasn't sure what was going on until the female Cubone began talking to him. What was going on? Shaking his head, he decided to finish what he had started. This time he dug his paws into the ground and then pushed off. It would add strength to his attack as he aimed to slam into the Diglett with Tackle before it could retreat underground! The Diglett would find itself able to escape underground at that moment as the tackle would pass overhead. Popping back up at another hole the Diglett would send out a rush of sand as it exit ...that would cover the spot that he had come up in.
It was a Sand-attack ..meant to catch his opponent in the face, but it was done so fast ...that the Diglett wasn't actually sure he was anywhere near his opponent as he sent out the rolls of dust into the air.

Michael sighed, a miss... it seemed to the trainer that this wasn't going to go well for him and his pokemon. His oshawott would at least have to bring the drillbur's health down to at least 5 and then catch it to not worry about it anymore, but he would still have to find a pokemon that had a healing move.

The pokemon popped out a few feet away as he watches the trainer and the Oshawott. THere wasn't any sign that they were going after him, and the pokemon was open. He smirked deviously, since that was the case he saw no reason to let them get away such open disrespect. Afterall, that trainer had started it ....as he would slam his paws into the earth as the ground would response to his power ...as the earth would start to get Spiral marks in it ....as they appeared like a path heading towards the Oshawott.
IF it worked the pokemon would be implanted into the earth as the ground twist ...like a railroad spike. The thought had him smiling as he waits to see what happens next.

Michael quickly snapped out of his disappointment thought and called to his oshawott "Oshawott! Use dodge and be prepared to attack!" The trainer then continued to watch the battle, and maybe soon pull a surprised capture. The oshawott nodded and got prepared to move and make an attack after.

The move would hit as the power of the earth would send the ground exploding under his feet. The Drillbur snickering lightly before he would duck back into his hole. This wasn't going to be an easy fight to win considering he could attack and disappear down his holes as many times as he felt necessary.
The safety of them would be enough to prevent him from taking any unnecessary injuries unless his opponent could figure out a way to hit him from inside his tunnels.

Moves: Tackle, Dark Pulse Exp:37/100 The Diglett disappeared. Before hiding under the hole, the pokemon blasted up some dirt aiming for the dark pokemon's eyes trying to aide in his escape. Growling, Fang backed up hurriedly. The Poochyena knew that the sand would be painful and also cloud his vision. Running backwards, he knew that he'd have to keep light on his paws to avoid getting hit. If he pictured being a bird, would it help aid him? Possibly. Backpack// x1 Potion, x3 Poke balls [2/10]
