"Good day, milady," Keegan said, giving a flourish bow, his red cape flapping in some sudden, unknown breeze. "You're the beautiful flower who owns that sweet Vulpix, are you not?" He rose, and took her hand in his. "My name is Keegan, and it is a pleasure to meet your acquaintance." He kissed her hand gently, a smile never leaving his face.

Kasiya stared in awe at Keegan's display - this guy was more over the top than Mike was!
"Hey Jaeshan," she asked, prodding him with a finger. "You've been in the sun too long as well, I see," she snickered, still missing the obvious. "Are you gonna battle me, or are my Pokemon gonna have to spar with their shadows?"

Ryka smiled at Kasiya, but then was surprised as she was pulled right into the circle. The boy named Jaeshan was the first to speak to her. He seemed to be blushing, which made Ryka smile. "Hello Jaeshan. My name's Ryka." She said, still smiling. "It's a pleasure to meet you."
The next person was a boy clad in red. He said his name was Keegan. She could feel her face going full red as he kissed her hand. Wow, what a gentleman.. "Yes, this is my Vulpix, Vixen. And my name's Ryka." She repeated, still smiling. "It's a pleasure to meet you too." She set Vixen down on the ground as she looked at Kasiya, smiling.

"Ryka, it's a beautiful name," he went on, standing up to his full height. He was a rather tall young man. "I too am raising a Vulpix," he said, beckoning to his. Unfortunately, the little guy didn't seem to have as much confidence as his trainer, and he hid behind Keegan's legs, peeking out at the pretty Vulpix before him.

Is this guy serious? Jaeshan thought, watching his ego-tastic friend hit on the new girl. He quickly blinked, and looked at Kasiya. His heart beat a little faster, and he grinned. "You're on!" he grinned. "And how about after this, we get dinner? Loser's treat," he added, a twinkle appearing in his eye.

"Thank you." Ryka replied. She bent down to take a peek at his Vulpix. "Hello, little guy." She said with a smile, as she scratched him on the head. Vixen looked at the Vulpix, who seemed to be hiding from her. She smirked at him and walked over to a nearby tree, resting and grooming under the shade.
Ryka then turned her attention to Jaeshan and Kasiya once she heard the word battle. "Oh, you two are going to battle? Do you mind if I watch?" She asked, still smiling at Jaeshan.

"Aha, spectators," Jaeshan grinned, winking at Ryka. "Why of course you can observe," he said. "I think it's time I knocked Kassie down a peg or two."
"Oh, like that's going to happen," Kasiya laughed, tossing a Pokeball up and down in the air. "Shall we?" she asked, her face changing from her usual sweet smile to one of strict determination. I beat him once, and I'll do it again, she thought. "Let's go 2 on 2, so that way we're not here forever," she added. Jaeshan nodded, and the two parted, both looking somewhere in between a mixture of excitement and nausea..,

Keegan stood back, nodding to Mike as he did so. He smiled at Ryka again, while his Vulpix slowly gained a spine and made his way over to the other Vulpix, or at least he was trying. He took his place by Keegan's feet, and it was then Keegan realized Electrike was still by Kasiya's side.
"Hey, you traitor," he called after the electric Pokemon, who grinned sheepishly, and ran over to sit with his trainer.

Ryka smiled yet again. "Good luck, both of you!" She said before going to sit next to Vixen. She leaned on the tree trunk and closed her eyes for a moment, thinking about the two boys. They're both so nice.. Jaeshan is really nice, and seems a little shy, just like me, and Keegan is also really sweet.. I like both of them.. Ryka shook her head to get the thoughts out of her head. She then turned her gaze to the starting battle, silently cheering for Jaeshan. But then again, she didn't want Kassie to lose either.
Vixen moves over a bit when Ryka sat down, occasionally getting a stroke or two on the head. When she finished her grooming, she jumped up in the tree and sat on a branch, eyeing the other Vulpix. What a cutie.. She thought.

Keegan glanced around, and sat down by a tree close to Ryka's. Vulpix and Electrike followed, Vulpix a little more nervous than his partner. He sat down, casting sidelong glances at the pretty Vulpix nearby. Oh, her fur is so shiny, he thought. Keegan hasn't groomed me in forever. I probably look terrible. My tails are a mess. This sucks....omigod...she's looking at me! He looked away, pretending to be interested in the battle that hadn't started yet.

Kasiya locked her eyes with Jaeshan, much like the start of the battle she'd had with Mike. She tossed the Pokeball up and down, spun it around on her finger for a second, and then whipped it across the battlefield. Shocker appeared before her, looking readier to battle than she had in days. She balled her little paws into fists, static electricity sparkling from her cheeks.

Jaeshan grinned, not at all suprized she'd started out the battle with her Pikachu. "Let's get her, Mightyena!" he called. He knew in his heart that Nidoking would have been the perfect choice, but he didn't want the first match to be overkill. Mightyena had gotten plenty stronger since they last faced off when he was a Poochyena. Mightyena growled, using his intimidation tactics to unnerve Shocker, "Take Down!" Jaeshan grunted the order, a smile still on his face.

"Heh," Kasiya said, eyeing Mightyena semi-nervously. She knew Shocker had been slightly frightened by the massive hound, but nevertheless, she sent her Pikachu on the attack. "Agility!" she cried, and the Pikachu zipped into her speedy attack, leaving a disoriented Mightyena stopped in his tracks.

((not to be rude, but what's taking you guys so long to reply?))
Ryka watched as Kasiya sent out Shocker, and Jaeshan sent out a Mightyena. "Go Kassie! Go Jaeshan!" Ryka cheered.
Vixen kept watching the other Vulpix and smiled. Aww, he's nervous. What a sweetie. Oh jeez, I'm getting soft.. She laid her head in her paws. 'Hello there.' She told him telepathically.
