I was so looking forward to spending time with my dear friend today. She had even said to come over on Sunday.
Sunday. This very Sunday. MY BIRTHDAY.
So I go over there, eager to spend time with her. But was she there? NO. You would think she'd have remembered, or a least set aside time, or something.
Today was such a great day; I was glad.
But now I'm sad, not to mention mad.
