Shadow drank from the girl like a nursing kitten. It felt like an eternity before he finally licked the area and lifted his head after making sure he had every drop inside him.

As soon as Shadow stopped, Caradoc pulled him back and far from the body. "Now!" He said, making sure Shadow and himself were well out of the way before Ever got to work.

"But a birthday is so important for people. It celebrates that person and all that he is...but if you don't want a birthday I won't do it, but, if I may speak freely, it's a mistake." she took some steps back, being scared of speaking her mind.

"It's easy for people to celebrate a birthday, but not for a person that's six and looks twenty. I cried when I lost my fox teddy but men can't cry, but I'm a child I'm uppose to cry, see how twisted it is?" Yule nodded and Kai took a bite from the sandwhich and sat there on teh spot, on the floor, when he tasted how delicious it was.

"Kai," Tomo began, walking back out. "I was pregnant for seven or so months and I cried through almost all of them." He said, poking himself in the gut. "And you know what? I don't feel any less of a man, for it." He said with a sound nod. "Look at Doc! He just celebrated his fourth birthday and he has an eighteen year old's body."

Shadow, who had been struggling after Caradoc pulled away, froze in his spot. Tears formed in his slowly yellowing eyes until they had returned completely to their original green color.

Baizou gasped and pushed Caradoc to the side a little to stare at the body. He suddenly sensed Ellie as if she were right there beside him again.

Now it was time for Caradoc's plan. He'd spent the week researching this and had used up his magic training to this alone. With a nervous twitch, he quickly entered Baizou's mind and captured the significantly weakened Shadow. It took a lot of energy and the boy would most certainly need to charge after this, but he was able to extract Shadow in an orb similar to the one Ellie lived in. "Heh. I rock." he murmured with a giggle before toppling over unconscious.

"Yeah, but last I checked he's a robot. The problem is the whole acting like a child sometimes. Also," he took a bite, "That I'm married and with a child coming soon," he chewed on it for a while and gulped the piece down, "It just feels weird. I don't feel less of a man, just that... but I wish I had a normal childhood, to say i had one, 'cause I didn't, but I know I can't. A-And saying I'm celebrating my twentyeth birthday is wrong. It's like lying."

"Maybe you can do child things. Nothing can stop you..." Yule walked to the stove to get Kai some cocoa.

Ellie sobbed into Baizou's chest, unable to do anything. She'd be more herself tomorrow, but, tonight was just a night to spend with him. Her small arms wrapped around him, and she'd never hugged him as tight. But, she was all muddy. She'd probably go in and change, once she introdcued herself to eveyrone.

"Yes, yes, don't worry about it now." Ever said, as he carried the robot back into the muffin. They were adults, they'd handle themselves. Ever headed straight over the stairs, after a smile, and nod to Tomo.

Regretfully, Ellie jolted back. His lips seemed so alien against hers.. Most likely because hers were not the same as she realized. Shakily, she brought her head back, and kissed him. It was almost uncomfortable, but she pushed it out of her head, and enjoyed it. "I.." her voice was so alien, too. "Love you too.."

Baizou pulled away slowly, "That is all I need to hear." He murmured, the rain washing his tears faster than they could fall. He rested warm hands on her cheeks and looked her over, wishing he had enough magical strength to return his appearance to the way it was. Shadow had sucked him dry. He couldn't help but smile though. "Death do us part, my a**. I will never part from you. Even in death." Gently, he pulled her into his arms and picked her up, carrying her up the porch. He pushed open the door and stepped through the main room. His feet squelched and the sound of the chain dragging on the newly mopped floor made Tomo wince. He carried her upstairs and into their room, setting her on the bed.

Tomo looked back at Kai and Yule. "Suit yourself. Just lemme know if you change your mind... As for the coco..." He looked at Yule, "I'd love some, if you didn't mind.

Yule served a cup of cocoa for Tomo and smiled, "I have an idea. Just celebrate a normal birthday but I'll put a seven on your cake. Maybe I can do some things to feed your child. But, can I please see you as a child? Please, I won't ask again." she placed her hands together and begged.

"Only if you make cake and cupcakes for my birthday. It's...next week."

"Deal."

Kai looked at Tomo and then just sighed. He closed his eyes and placed his hands like in meditation. he was engulfed in light and once the light deemed there was a smaller version of Kai in child clothes, a six year old. Yule squeeled and hugged him.
