'Eyyy, wait a tic.
Phantom Hourglass has a bit of a head-to-head feature. It goes Wi-Fi, even!
You compete to see who can swipe the most Force Gems as Link, and try to keep the other player from scoring when it's your turn to be the Phantom.
Not to mention there is some head-to head in Four Swords Adventures.
It's fun trampling your opponents with Epona or summoning a mad Cucco on them.

Big ******** talking about using everything that's at Link's disposal in a battle between players. Again, like DK64. Edit: Wait, FSA had head-to-head? s**t.

Regulust Ok I'll ask again since yesterday I was ignored completely.
"I was thinking up a realistic Mario game/series, and I thought that having costume upgrades would be awesome, but my bro thought the idea was stupid"
Op?
Also the costume would obviously be made to look less cartoony then the regular mario series.

Well, I can;t think of anything outside of the already established power-ups that alter your wardrobe... such as the Hammer Suit.
Maybe put in more mind inducing agents, like the Fuzzies?

Maybe put in more mind inducing agents, like the Fuzzies?
I was thinking the SMB1 and SMB3 suits just remade to look less cartoony.

But a Hammer suit would serve no purpose as the Hammer would be a standard weapon.
