Lucifer Morningstar
I had a woman on the bus do that. She kept trying to hug me and repeating "Jesus is the light of your world."

Brrrr.

This guy tried to date me.. I went to his church out of curiosity.

I stopped and he got crazy with the phone stalkerish actions. to put a long story short. but yeah.... that's just wow....

A church group that convenes at my workplace every Sunday (No, I don't know why either.) not-so-subtly tried to convert me after offering me a delicious breakfast pastry on a morning which I hadn't eaten. They claimed they were a good group of people and suggested I should "sit down and talk with them some time" after learning of my religious slant, or lack thereof.

Damn good danishes, though.

Funny thing about me, no more than three of my close friends are heterosexual. Anyway, one of my gay friends answered the door one time to a pair of Mormons and he recognized one of them as a guy he'd recently fooled around with at a club. So naturally, he was overly hospitable and friendly with the Mormon who looked like he'd rather put a gun in his mouth than be in that room.

I just kind of roll my eyes at any kind of religious recruitment stuff. I'm very much on the strange side of the religious front. I'm an atheist and a hellenic reconstructionist and a couple other things too, but that's my own thing, I don't need to be like recruity and s**t about that.

Well Living in Texas, we tend to get some people trying to convert use to them.
Rather awkward when the door bell rings a 1030am, I answer the door were 4 kid dress with a age range of 8-17. The two boy (likely 12 or so) where in fine pressed business suits, while the girl where in dresses. bear in mind I don't wake up till 9, so I'm still in my sleep pants, sleep shirt, and uncombed hair.
But they try not paying any mind as they try to get me to join there church. what was even stranger, was when they handed me a pamphlet saying there is a water shortage in the world and how Jesus is able to fix it.

I try not to mock peoples faith (unless they are crazy about it or Tom Cruise) But I fail to see how Jesus is able to fix a water shortage.

A wine shortage, though, I could understand.

or maybe he will turn the wine back into water. If he can do it one way, he can do it the other.

So Heather is out of the hospital and resting on the couch. Everything went well. I;ll let her update her own condition on her. I'm sure she'll be along.

Well, the whole experience was rather odd. They wheeled me into the surgery room and I remember thinking how cold and creepy the room was with all the torture looking instruments all over. They hooked me up to some things and then put a mask over my face and had me breathe deep. I think I took about 8 breaths. I don't even remember feeling sleepy at all. Next thing I remember, I'm whining and moaning and a disembodied voice is talking to me in a comforting tone. I kept saying "I just wanna wake up" but it was so hard to do and I was nauseous. Yuck.
I think waking up was the worst part of it. I was miserable.

Apparently, the incisions are a bit bigger than what they usually do. When they got in there, they found dark fluid. The surgeon was afraid he nicked my intestine so they tracked it back to the source. It was my ovary. It had a cyst on it and they drained it (joy.. another medical issue). When they got to the gallbadder, the doctor told Brian it was "full of stones" and there were "tons and tons of small stones, too many to count". He also commented that "no wonder I was having so many problems".

My incisions hurt and I'm full of gas from the Co2 that they used to inflate my abdomen. I'm just sitting here trying to burp so badly. I'm such a classy lady xp I'm supposed to basically do nothing for 2 days and then try easing into things. I can't lift more than 20 pounds for two weeks and no driving for at least 48 hours. I can only eat soft/bland stuff for tonight and ease into things tomorrow. I had bread and some Jello. Exciting.

I finally found an inexpensive sunscreen that absorbs into the skin and doesn't feel greasy. It's still a little tacky on joint with a lot of bend and crease (inside the arm opposite the elbow for example), but otherwise it's invisible. And almost no scent whatsoever.
SPF 70 Target house brand sun screen. It's got a purple cap on it, I don't have it on me now for the name.

Try baby sun screen.. It actually feels less icky going on because a few possibly harmful chemicals are taken from it. But it can be just as protective. xd

The Target near my place didn't stock any with SPF higher than 15. My needs for sun screen are minimum of SPF 30 and it has to be water proof/sweat proof up to an hour. The stuff I found (UP&UP, the current Target house brand) has everything I need and still feels pretty good on. I didn't rub off on the pages anyway, which is always my biggest concern.

That and I burn quickly, like finely sliced beef. I bought some long sleeve work out shirts too for when I go biking. They're cool enough so long as the day isn't too hot and will hopefully solve the unfortunate zebra problem I'm having on my back...
