Lady Mist "Guess making a fire would give away our hideout huh." Lumina idly noted, then pulled up her bag and started shifting through it, "Guess it's my turn to share food. Prepare to feast on the grossest food ever." She grinned, handing out the packs. It was like one giant bar of every vitamin possible packed in, filling enough to be a whole meal in itself.
Looking back over as Liam talked to the pokemon, Lumina chuckled, "Perhaps it's more a sign of respect for those passed on?" She gave a shrug, "I'm not sure if a diety exists or not. I wouldn't rule out the possibility, but I think I'll travel by my own horn. I respect those who have such beliefs though, I think it's wonderful for them. I'd love to find out the history of this shrine though."
At mention of the eevee, Lumina burst into a mini-rainbow and pulled out the pokeball, cuddling it to her chest with pure joy, "Why yes, yes I would happen to know." She grinned ear to ear.One of the villagers, after resting, was alert enough to notice the conversation. "Well, that shrine has been here for ages. There's a legend to it too, if you would like to hear."

mewrose "Oh! That's right. I feel stupid for not remembering before." Anise sighed. "Already that seems like a long time ago. Was that only yesterday? Or maybe less time, we didn't have anything to measure the passage of time in there. And speaking of Felix..."
She sat up sharply and looked around. "I got separated from him in the commotion, and I have no idea where he could be. Oh!" She said again as another thought struck her. "Or Sola, my rental Ponyta. I'd left her loose to graze before I got captured and have no idea what happened to her." Looking very worried now, she started to get up, despite starting to tremble from exhaustion herself. "I have to find them!"
Shina sat up. "Let me send Rasha to look," Shina offered. "Wandering around in these woods is what got us in trouble the first time, so it might be best to avoid doing it again."

@ Nata, Gwyn, villager
"Well," Lumina began, "I'm waiting to think of the perfect name for her. I don't want the first thing I say to her to be 'um' or something. She's been through a lot, so I'm sure she's enjoying the rest and hiding out." She chuckled.
Hearing a villager speak up, the watcher turned, eyes ablaze with curiosity, "Oh! Do tell!"

Bluedemonwolf @ Leader Alexa grinned some more as Flint laughed. "So glad I can be amusing." She said. She shook her head making the hat fall over her eyes. She pushed it back and groaned. It was too big for her head! But she wouldn't give it up just because of that. She'll learn how to deal with keeping it from falling down.
Digging through her pack she discovered some food way at the bottom. "What luck! Food!" She pulled out a baggie of mostly crushed chips, a fruit, and a few more granola bars. "It's not much but you're welcome to some."((Well that's good I suppose. XP I gotta hop off for a bit but I'll be back)) flint smile sand shakes his head " nah, but i got a secret, i've been holding out" he says looking around suspiciously and pulls out a bag of brownies with a grin " mom made them just before i left on this trip and sent some with me, your welcome to have some if you want" (alright, ill be here when yo do ^^)

(Night then Motobon)
@Mist & co.
Rachel called goodnight to Kiyo then rose from where she knelt. She let the blood circulate for a moment then started to walk over to Lumina's group before pausing and changing her course to the shrine. She knelt again and pulled out a small bowl, a small candle and a match from her pack. She put the bowl on the stone base then placed the candle in the bowl. She lit the candle shortly after.
Once done she rose and walked to Lumina's group. "Good to see you all aren't having any problems." she said once she was there.

Nanashi Kage Enjeru Shina sat up. "Let me send Rasha to look," Shina offered. "Wandering around in these woods is what got us in trouble the first time, so it might be best to avoid doing it again."
Despide her growing desperation, the logic got to her, and she slumped back into a sitting position. "That's true, wandering would be bad. But Rasha--you Ponyta, I take it?--might not know who Felix and Sola are. But Halcyon does!"
She brightened at the thought and turned toward the Swablu. "Do you think you can find them?" She figured there wasn't likely to be any shiny things in the woods to get the bird distracted. "And we can all have something to eat when you get back. Sounds good?" Her pokemon chirped and flew off. "Be careful!" she called, just to be safe. Then she bit her lip, worrying for her pokemon's safety.

@ Gwynnie + Mist + FFN
"A pleasure to meet you. I wish it were under better circumstances, but we roll with the punches, right?"
Liam offered his hand as well, giving it a firm shake before letting it drop, resting his arms on his bent knees. Beside him, he watched as Rhia and her friend curled up for the night, giving them half a wave of one hand to acknowledge them before they curled up, obviously exhausted. With how things had been going, he didn't blame them either. Still, he felt a little too on edge to sleep just yet, and instead watched Lumina pull out some things from her bag, grinning.
"You've obviously not tasted my mother's cooking," He replied teasingly, taking one of the packs from her with a thankful nod, unwrapping it and taking a bite. He regretted it almost immediately -- the taste of nutritional ingredients was overwhelming, and he choked a little, swallowing thickly, "Ok, I lied, this might just be worse."
Taking another bite, Liam chewed slowly, making a face as he swallowed again, mostly just for the show of it, sobering a little at the talk of deities and religion, interest piqued. "Respect I can give... I just prefer to give it where it's due. Hoping that bowing to a stone statue will give me good fortune... I'm not sure the cosmos work that way, you know? I never thought I'd say it, but perhaps there's something watching us, as evidence today, and maybe they're helping us. But I don't think it was because we prayed more than other people. I'd much prefer it's the way we live. Or maybe it's just luck."
Shifting a bit from where he sat, the healer searched around for where he had slung his pack, trying to remember if he had brought it. Luckily, it rested nearby, none the worse for wear despite how awful things had been. Pulling out his sleeping bag, he tucked it under him, stretching out a bit with a sigh and grinning a bit when he heard the excitment in Lumina's voice.
EDIT
He was about to ask if she had named it yet when nearby villager spoke up, mentioning that there was a legend to the shrine. At this, he promptly shut his mouth again, curiosity etched in his features.

((Yaaaay story time rofl ))
"It's a popular tale in Motterossa. Once upon a time," the villager started, taking a seat in the grass, "there was once a trainer that settled in Motterossa a while before even Katarina was founded. He had with him several strong pokemon - he did fight his way through the wilderness of Zatao afterall.
"He stayed in his village, and eventually died, but one of his pokemon did stay in the region. This shrine was built on the grave of that trainer and it was also built to honor his pokemon that had helped...protect the village...after first few months of...starting t' town..." Apparently, the jail had been too much of an adventure and the villager started to doze off. Well, so much for story time.

{Sorry I'm so late. Went to get some food.}
Livewire::
Stroking along the head of his Absol, Sabres body language calmed fully. Sighing lightly, he scritched under the canines chin, "We'd better get you back with the others.. " he murmured to Jay. The Absol murred softly, closing his eyes contently at the gentle affections of his trainer. The Ponyta snorted again, jerking it's head back once. But when the caring touch of the boy was replaced, Tirk flicked his ears and nuzzled back, smoothing against the humans forearm.

"Yes, Rasha is my ponyta. Oh, listen, the villager is telling a story." Shina listens intently to the story, disappointed when the villager nods off before getting very far.

"...."
Uh.
The healer looked at the others around the group, giving them a confused look. Did the villager just... fall asleep? Leaning forward, Liam stared at the villager, tilting his head at him.
"Hey. Hey don't go to sleep! Oldtimer!"
Sitting back again, he shook his head, taking another bite of vitamen bar.
"Well that was a long, in depth story."

Lumina gave Liam a playful slap on the back of his shoulder at his faces, though couldn't help but laugh as it looked like he was trying to swallow a rock. Which it might very well have been.
Turning eagerly to hear the story, Lumina's eyes lit up - then promptly blinked. He fell asleep? He had all day to sleep in jail! And then some!
Defeated, Lumina had to bite her tongue not to wake up him, despite how much she wanted to hear the tale. If it was common folklore.. she looked around, but it seemed that most of the villagers had already drifted off.
"Maybe I could wave this food bar under his nose.." She pondered aloud with an evil smirk.
Turning back to the group, "So a shrine to honor a dead man and his guardian pokemon. How many years ago could that be.. Think his companions are still alive?" Despite the tale having taken place before even Katarina was founded.
