((Sorry I didn't post sooner, either. I've been really busy! eek School sucks big time!))

Mairyela laughed at Skiiy's antics. Shouldering her fletch, she led the way. The halls of the Tower had always seemed an endless maze, no matter how long you stayed. She had been here for almost six years, and she still managed to get lost sometimes.

With a csual, but light skip in her steps, she felt happy. With everything that had been going on lately, she should have felt alert, or angry. Prehaps it was Skiiy's lighthearted personality that had her on her heels. Maybe it was the chance to have an adventure; to get out after so many years in the city and the Tower. She didn't know.

Arriving at the Keepers anteroom, she noticed the walls were quiet. Mercury Sedai wasn't behind her desk, so she went on. "It's very still here." She said. "It's a bit odd, but understandable."

((S'okay. ))

"That will fade with time, I think. For now you just have to go on living. You cannot let that emptiness get to you. If you do, it will consume you and you will become lost to all of us here." He nodded a bit. He only knew a little bit about the bond between Aes Sedai and their Warders, but what little he knew was accurate as far as he knew.

"I make you feel safer?" He rubbed the back of his head again, grinning a bit. "Well, that's good to hear. Guess I'll just have to stick close to you a lot. Just in case you go all crazy again." He laughed a bit at that.

Blinking at the mention of dishes, Kakashi grinned and turned to go. "Well in that case, I think I'll be going. I have practice to catch up on." Then, at the mention of her changing, he quickened his step. "And likely, you'd rather not I sit and watch you change. You stay level headed now, you hear?" And with that he was out the door and already a good ways down the hall. He had never liked doing dishes. Not even at home.

Skiiy couldn't believe this was the second time in 2 days he'd been up to the Amyrlin's. He felt like a school student being sent to the principal, and felt quite out of place. "I never can stand the atmoshpere in this place, it's far too quiet, all the time, I don't know how they pull it off. You think it'd be really busy, but all the Novices and Accepted are too scared to make a peep, and the Aes Sedai, Keeper, and Amyrlin just don't make noise. I guess it's a good place to do work, but it still bothers me...shall we?" Skiiy motions to the Mother's room, allowing Mairyela to go in first, since she'd probably get along with the Amyrlin anyways.

((Craptastic, but it can't be helped.))

Alina grinned as he left. then it faded, Dupre probably would have stayed and watched her get changed. now, not that she wanted Kakashi to stay, just... he was really sweet, and...he helped her with out even knowing who she was. they had just met today after all.
she quickly got changed and tied the new white ribbons on her arms, and one around her neck. she walked down slowly to the kitchen, Laras looked at her and said "word travels fast her girl. are you all right now?"
she looked up at Laras, the big woman reminded her so much of the Wisdom in Emonds Feild, she didnt know how, Laras was huge, and the Wisdom skinny, Laras never had her hair braided, and the wisdom always did. and then she relized it was the big wooden spoon that Laras always held, it was just like the staff that the Wisdom had always carried. she gave a week smile and said "everything will be fine Mistress Laras." Laras sniffed and put a huge arm around the small shoulders of Alina. "don't you worry girl. men are fickle, he might not even be gone!" Laras knew very little about the bond between a warder and his Aes Sedai, but the words were still comforting. "why when i was a girl..." laras talked while she walked alina over to the pots and pans. when they got there she said "now alina m'dear, you just wash the small pots, no need to have you fainting inside one of my big ones!" she laughed a hardy laugh at her own joke, ALina smiled. "thank you Mistress Laras." she curtsied and went back to work.

((my 4th book finaly downloaded but guess what, its on TAPE, ya know, some stupid woman reading it, well, at least i will be able to get some of the names right..maybe, she said Tar Valon wronge, bwe...i am going to try a PDF file instead...))

((We agreed not closing it for more than 24 hrs. at a time... 3nodding ))

It was already fading light when Mercury had one of the smaller boats out on the water. She had the oars and just before she shoved off, one of the older men called out to her to remember the tide flow. Mercury grinned and shouted back that she'd done this so much as a child she'd never forget. The men shrugged, and went back home for dinner.

Mercury meanwhile rowed the boat so far out that she was only a speck on the horizon. She dappled her fingers in the blue salty water. Perhaps she should warn Alina. She paused a moment in thought, then rowed the boat off to the side. Some fifteen minutes later, she was pulling it into a hidden cove that she and Lune had discovered some years ago; often her Aunt would think Mercury had vanished entirely because there would be no boat on the water, but no sign of her in the village. No one else knew about it, and she settled into the sand, before entering the Dream World to see if Alina was asleep. It seemed she wasn't. Instead, Mercury sought out Hopper. The wolf growled at her, but Mercury stayed at a distance, simply asking him to relate the message to be careful of Romvian to Alina. Whether or not it worked was beyond her; she didn't really understand the wolves or their communication.
