I just played through the first three levels of the Decepticon campaign of Transformers: War for Cybertron, and it is AWESOME!!! Three levels and I've played and the big 3 of the Decepticons, Megatron, Starscream, and Soundwave and all are badass.

Picked up War for Cybertron. someone needs to melt down a few copies into a burning hot doom drink and forcefeed Michael bay a taste of what a REAL transformers reboot is all about.

Michael Bay makes big loud summer time killers, but he does NOT make films, especially not Transformers Films.
Moviemaking is a business, and Bay is the Trump of the business, but he is no filmmaker. He is a business man. If he happens to butcher a few beloved series along the way, well, that's his prerogative.
The new game captures the respective characters pitch perfect. I'll never forgive Bay for turning Starscream into a cuckolded little b***h.
Or for casting Shia Lebouf for that matter.
Or Megan Fox.
Or the fat black comedian who has the most annoying voice ever. (why not just cast Dave Chapelle as Omega Supreme and Gilbert Godfrey as Unicorn and finish destroying my childhood entirely?)
Or for the entire second movie.
Oh s**t I'm running out of "Or"

goddamit that is all you fanitics whine and cry about.
"waahhh Michael Bay ruined my childhood by making it badass and modern. The 80's vehicles are modern that makes it suck. The main human character isn't named after a car part, it's stupid. The supporting female character is hot and not nerdy, it's unbelievable. Waaaaambulance!!!"
I watched season one of G1, watching the firefights, the explosions, the fist fights. Then I watch the 80's movie followed by the Revenge of the Fallen. I see the same explosive fight scenes, both melee and shootouts just one is in high definition.
I know not all G1 hate the movies, hell my uncle and my dad grew up on watching just about any 80's cartoon, GI Joe, Transformers, He-Man. He saw Transformers and felt like he had stepped back in time to those golden years infront of the boob tube on Saturday mornings. But the bullshit that I hear repeatedly, the "wahhh Michael Bay ruined my childhood" seriously wares down on my nerves.
I grew up on Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, old school, Rita, Jason, Kim, Zack, Billy, Trinity, and Tommy (green) but ten years later when a Power Rangers Mystical Jungle Ninja Beasts tv spot comes on tv I don't spit fire and brimestone at the creator, I acknowledge and move on, I don't stand on a soapbox screaming at all who listen"wahhhh so and so ruined my childhood with Power Rangers Mystical Jungle Ninja Beasts!!!" <******** I loved Beast Wars but couldn't couldn't stand Beast Machines but I watched it for completionist sake. Transformers: Armada came out that became my modern favorite Transformers series, then that ended and Transformers: Energon and Transformers: Animated came out I commented "art style looks stupid, what else is on?"
In short G1 fanatics, to keep this rant short and sweet for further refference "quit yer bitchin' and move on."

Eric, I love you to death, but it's people like you and your approval of people butchering classic history in fictional universes that have caused scenes like Peter Parker dancing in Spider Man three.

2. the people that are terrified of someone else's view, take, or oppinion on a popular or sensative, topic or genre, call that person a butcher, aka people that are scared of change/evolution.

it does Haur, and has for almost 7 years. I only chose the new 360 slim because it's more avalible. Though I will always pick Kitana-tana's sexiness anyday.
