Athena clapped. "Cool!" she exclaimed. "I love magic. It's so awesome. Hey, do you like pasta? They have awesome pasta here. Nobody seems to appreciate it like I do, though..." She began to lead the way to the rather short line, taking a tray when it was available. Pasta was her favorite food of all time. No exaggerating. It was an obsession she'd had since her first serving of the wonderful stuff, and she liked just about every sort of pasta there was.

  "It's fine," Skia said happily, "we met when we were 20, and from there we married at 100... mostly cause we had way to much traveling to worry about marriage " Skia explained happily before thinking for a moment. "Oh well I guess on earth we only count as being 20 ... ish."Kai sighed and face palmed, "Me and Skia are from the spirit plains so we're on a different time frame than earth if that explains anything." He shrugged and walked past Skia placing a hand on her shoulder. "Come on lets go help her find her classes." With that the map appeared again and marked each class with an arrow. "Huh nice selection, but yeah The new school is exactly like the one that was burnt down 5 years ago so it's not to complicated."Skia nodded and took Dai's hand pulling her towards where Kai was walking. "Don't worry we don't bite."

Eyes wide she nodded simply not wanting to get more confused than she already was by asking more questions. She listened to the rest and nodded, she somewhat understood when the guy talked about where they were from. The idea of there being other places beside here, it was weird and she didn't want to really believe it but she guessed she would have to believe everything at some point or another. Her hand was then grabbed as she was pulled along while Kai too lead. Looking down at the hand holding hers before looking up and nodding yet again, at the part of them not biting. She didn't exactly know whether to trust that or not, but she guessed she would have to trust everything in this weird school. "Thanks...." She really was getting homesick already, she wanted to go back home to her real home and back to her old school. She knew that wouldn't happen though, she would stay here until she could get out of this place when she was old enough to.

 Skia slowed down to a stop when she saw that the girl was still unhappy. "What's wrong?" She asked curiously, her cat ears flattening on her head as she wondered why she seemed so sad. "I know we just met, but you seem to be really down in the dumps right now." She smiled looking back to see Kai waiting for the both of them. "You want to talk about it?"

 Jack Magnússon BOOOOOMMM!!!! Soupy soup~ Jack followed behind Athena as they made their way into the lunch que for some nibbles. " you know, I do like pasta. But I'm not really in the mood today. I feel like fish to be honest." He said looking at the menu. " WOW! They have Cullen Skink here!" He thought excitedly as he ordered up a bowl of the fishy soup. Jack loved fish, it was one of the healthiest things to eat that wasn't veg. Collecting his food Jack made his way to an empty table near one of he large open windows that ran along the outer wall and began to eat. ((Small post is small, I got half qway through it, forgot about it, and now I'm too tired to add to it XD))

Athena followed him through the line with a heaping plate of shrimp caprese and a small salad on the side, plus a big bottle of apple juice. "I'm always in the mood for pasta. It's, like, the best food ever. And there are so many different kinds that it's impossible to get bored with it!"
She sat down across from him before beginning to eat. While her table manners weren't exactly the best in the world, they certainly were not bad. At least, she didn't chew with her mouth open.

((Let's mix it up a little, shall we? ^^)) ((And no, I don't just mean because I'm posting for a change. >.> I know you were thinking it. stare )) A figure walked up along the grass, walking to a spot where there wasn't really anyone around. There were a few people scattered around, but there really wasn't anyone in the general area around them. They raised their arm, stabbing the ground in front of them with a scythe. They tilted their neck to the side looking out over the campus. The school was still... relatively quiet for the morning. They sighed and looked down for a moment. "Are you sure about this?" the figure muttered. No one answered, but they sighed and nodded. "Okay." They had a long, tattered, black cloak covering their body. Their face was covered by a skull mask, except for the mouth, which made their eyes appear solid red. They twisted a keyboard, formally on their back, in front of them, hitting a trio of keys. As they did, a large stage rose out of the ground, appearing to be made from oversized skeletons, complete with amplifiers, instruments, and momentarily unused lights. A moment later, three more, in full skeletal getups, took positions behind the other instruments. The figure looked around and nodded, hitting another three keys, amplified by the speakers next to them. "We... are... Reaper," said the figure, his voice amplified over the speakers. He looked back out over the grounds, "Wonder if anyone'll come to listen?" he whispered, before hitting a button on the keyboard, switching its instrument to sound like a guitar. "Might as well get this over with," he muttered. The skeletal figure on the guitar nodded, and looked to the figure to get them started. "Might as well start with something loud to grab some attention," he said, starting the song. He was fairly good at changing his voice, so he could make it sound like someone else... at least for this song. Didn't want anyone recognizing it. Lin winced as she heard a loud sound outside of the school. It turned into music, but it was so loud and seemed to vibrate through the walls of the school.
While most students would probably love an impromptu concert, Lin's sensitive ears were slightly bothered by it. She covered her ears and looked at Professor Akakios in worry.
"What is going on, Professor?!"

Cuwen {{That is awesome!! biggrin That's the mark of a truly exceptional writer. smile }} Lin couldn't help but blush deeply as Dymetri looked at her. He gazed at her with such reverence and awe. Lin was certain that she didn't deserve all of that, but she drunk it in anyway. She consumed every memory, every look, every feel. She felt as if she were in Heaven right now. "Oh Dymetri... You are far too sweet to me sometimes. I love you so much." She thought that Dymetri usually had an exceptional memory and was somewhat surprised when he said he didn't remember his class schedule, but perhaps he had never glanced at it and didn't want to let Lin know that. He probably knew that she'd scold him, which she probably would, but only good naturedly. "Well we will have to make sure that we arrive back at school at a decent time so that you can check your schedule and have enough time go to make it to your first class on time." She thought about what Dymetri had said about the forest creatures. "Hmm. Those almost sound like creatures that would live deep within the forest. What about on the outside? Any elemental creatures?" When she didn't hear a response for awhile, she looked away from her coffee and looked back at Dymetri. She frowned in concern at the faraway look on his face. "Dymetri? Dymetri, are you alright?" {{For Victoria. smile }}

Dymetri pursed his lips and then looked at Lin blankly. After a moment, his eyes dilated and he was out of his thoughts and into reality. "Fine, I'm fine. I'm good," he said quickly. "I was just lost in my mind a bit is all," he validated.
Clearing his throat his eyebrows pulled together in quick recollection. "I don't know about that. We should find out together," he said, smiling at her. He craved a cigarette, a habit he forced away long ago upon first meeting Lin. He swallowed the feeling away and took a sip of his coffee.
"Would you like to head back to school?"

Lin looked at Dymetri with even more concern now, but she nodded and quickly got up.
"Yes, of course. If you would like, we could stop at the infirmary first and I could check you over in case you are sick. Since you have a human body now, you could be getting sick."

"Just because I have a human body doesn't mean I'm actually human, Lin." He stood with her and walked outside of Starbucks until the edge where the water began. "I have all the abilities and advantages that a vampire has, a more experienced vampire at that. I just don't depend on the life liquid of others anymore because I already have a good supply of human blood in this human body." He blinked in thought.
"My immune system is just about unstoppable."
Dymetri looked at her with a sly look in his eye. "Of course, you may very well still play doctor for me." He chuckled softly.

Jack Magnússon BOOOOOMMM!!!! pasta pasta pastAARRRRGG!! Jack almost spat a mouthful of soup up the window when Athena commented on the different types of pasta, quickly swallowing before there was a creamy shower of fishy goodness exploding from his mouth((LOL! that sounds well dodgy XD )) caused Jack to cough lightly. " HAHA! Yeah, there are lots of shapes but it's all still pasta in the end, I don't really think it tastes that different from each type. Now fish on the other hand, even haddock like is in this Cullen Skink can be different from the next haddock, for instance, Cullen Skink uses smoked haddock, much different from regular haddock." He said before taking another hearty mouthful. When the music started randomly blasting Jack jumped, wow it was loud, and if it was loud for him what was it like for people like Athena and such with the animalistic senses? " "What's going on out there?! Not only that, but this song is terrible! When did country become popular again?! GAH! I can't hear myself think!" Jack was clearly annoyed, there was one thing music being 'loud', like metal or thrash, but it's another thing music being literally loud, sometimes it's not needed.
