Dante chuckled lightly at that. "Thats great. Maybe next time I wont lose so bad to you." He joked. Glancing down at Meowth to make sure he wasn't causing any trouble he saw just in time the Thunderbold TM in his hand and quickly snatched it out. " Hey this isn't for you. How did you get it out of my bag anyway?" He asked curiosly.
"I reached in and took it. How else would I have gotten it." Meowth replied sarcasticly.
"Dont take things from people's bags." Dante scolded lightly as he put the TM back into his bag and turned back to Mitsu. "Well. I guess this is goodbye for now. Call me if you need anything." He said chearfully. "And good luck with your new pokemon."

"Aww c'mon! It wasn't that bad!" Mitsu said not wanting to play along. "I suspose so. Good bye Dante." Mitsu said waving slightly as he turned around. Pidgey chirped loudly at the mention of him.
She turned back around to Mike and Kasiya. "Have you guys heard about the festival?" she said to both of them smiling slightly. Pidgey made himself comfortable on Mitsu's shoulder resting up for some more attack. He eyed Mike a bit as if attempting to conect something. The Charizard to the trainer no doubt.

"Bye bye, Dante," Kasiya said, waving at him. "Even though we were never introduced!" She put her hands in her pockets, and suddenly felt the item she'd picked up earlier. She pulled it out, and looked at it. One would think it was a small apple core, but after a few seconds, she realized it was made of some sort of glass. It seemed to sparkle in her hands as a small cut on her arm (from the fall a minute ago when Fang tried to glomp her) had all but vanished completely. It didn't even hurt anymore.
"Oh, I know what this is," she said, no longer paying attention to Mitsu, Mike, or the abrasive bird Pokemon. "It's Leftovers! Gradually restores health over a period of time," she said, grinning. "What a find! I can't believe someone would just throw this away!"
She pulled a Pokeball from her belt, and released Ariel by her side. She took the necklace with the lightning bolt pendant from her neck, and stowed the pendant in her backpack. She affixed the Leftovers to the chain, and placed it around Ariel's neck, just below her neck ruffle. It as was pretty well hidden, and the Vaporeon pranced around her trainer happily, nuzzling her arm affectionately.
"You're welcome," she said, hugging her Pokemon tightly. "Only the best for my best friends, you know."

"So what are your plans?" Jaeshan asked Keegan, leaning back and getting comfortable. "I'm on a quest to gather all the gym badges in Kanto. Then I'll collect them from Hoenn. And perhaps Johto after that," he said, not sure Keegan was even listening.

"Gym badges," Keegan said, looking from his friend to the sky. "I never really thought much about it," he admitted. "Someone did mention that I should try to get some badges from Hoenn, but the first Hoenn gym is run by Roxanne, who uses Rock types." He gestured to Vulpix and Electrike, asleep on his lap. "These two would have a world of trouble if we challenged her."

"A talking Meowth, fascinating. I wish my Pokemon could talk." Mike said with a hint of jealousy, looking around for his Charizard. "Oh yeah," he remembered. "Portabello brought him to the Center. What a smart Pokemon."
On that note, his ever loved Breloom hopped out of the sliding doors of the center and tossed Nitro's Pokeball at his trainer. "Thanks buddy!" Mike laughed at how much of a paradox a Pokemon holding a Pokeball was.

"Well, you could always expand your team," Jaeshan said. "Maybe find yourself a tough water or grass type? I think I need to get a water type myself," he chuckled. "Keep my team well rounded, you know?"

The two Hoenn trainers had been so deep in conversation that they didn't notice the battle, nor the evolutions for that matter. "A water type?" Keegan asked, shuddering. "I don't know. I specialize with Fire types. I'm from Lavaridge, you know. What would Flannery say if she saw me sauntering around with a water type in my party?"

Jaeshan laughed. "Well, I don't know. I've never met Flannery, so I don't know what she would say. But she might say that expanding both your knowledge and repertoire is important to each and every trainer. And not everyone must specialize in a type." He smiled, thinking of his four Pokemon. His eyes went wide as he saw a Charizard being dragged bast them by a Breloom. A mintute or two later, the Breloom returned, with a Pokeball in hand.
"Now there's something you don't see every day," Jaeshan commented.

Mike's head perked up as he heard a familiar name mentioned. "Flannery?" Whispering to himself hoping no one would hear him he decided to change the subject. "Hey guys, after we're done getting the HMs, anyone mind if I go and challenge Winona? Can't use the move without it."

"Winona?" Kasiya said, looking up at him. She opened her backpack, and pulled a blue-covered book from it. She flipped through, reading intently. "It says Winona resides in Fortree City, in Hoenn. She's apparently very tough though, and most trainers wait until they have five badges before they challenge her. How many badges do you have, Mike?" she asked, looking up from the book. "I don't need another badge, though. The Thunder Badge allows Pokemon to use Fly outside of battle." She opened her vest to show off her three shining badges before going back to her book. She was reading through the part about Fortree City, it was apparently a town made of Tree Houses. She studied the accompanying map, noting that there was a lake and a route east of Fortree. Marked on the map was a large symbol, shaped like a tall, grey, rock pillar.
"Wait a second...that's....!" she exclaimed, staring down at the map in astonishment. Fang had left his perch, and flew over to her.

"Yeah, no kidding," he said, hearing the name 'Fortree'. He stood up, picking up Vulpix and Electrike in his arms, and made his way over to the group. "Forgive my intrusion," he said, giving a slight bow. "But I just came from Fortree City," he said, smiling slightly.

Mike lowered his head at the thought of challenging her again. "I-I've got three badges but I'm sure I can take her on. I just want to be able to fly with Nitro so I can get to the other gyms faster." Attempting to mask his apparent anxiety, he released his new Charizard.
Nitro burst out of his Pokeball with gusto, happy to stretch his new wings. "Told ya." he scoffed at Portabello, who just rolled his eyes.
Mike whirled around to face the newcommer. "Huh? Oh, you did?" asked the boy. "I was thinking of heading there myself to challenge Winona.

Jaeshan stood up, following his new friend slowly. He gave a slight wave to Kasiya, but soon realized she was completely caught up in her book. He walked over to her, mostly to say hello to Fang, the Crobat.
"Long time no see," he chuckled, patting the great green bat on the head. "You've certainly grown since the last time we met."

"Yeah," he said, suddenly wondering why he'd come over in the first place. "It's a really lovely city," he added. "I didn't get much of a chance to explore it, nor the great grasslands that stretch out southeast of Fortree either."
