Okay, enty needs help on a decision.
I have photoshop elements two to edit on, but I just got photoshop 8 CS or something like that for free.
xd (my friend gave me it, Don't know or care how he got a hold of it. >.>; Knowing him he hacked it or something.

My problem is that elements causes my compy to freeze, and I fear CS may be worse. So should I risk the installation?
surprised The problem with ANY graphics program is that they are resource intensive. Could you give me some more background on the problem? Computer specs, what kind of freeze is it - does it just shut down, lock up, blue screen of death, etc?
Photoshop is a very nice program - I use 7.0 myself. However, I have a decked out computer that can handle massive programs like Photoshop, mmo games, Visual Studio .NET, a really fancy music-player with a huge playlist, etc, all at the same time with no trouble. Let me know your specs, what the freeze is like, and I can let ya know if it'll be safe or not. That is, assuming you haven't already installed it... cause that's something I would do.
