Batsu continued to ask for the girl's help. "Um... thanks for healing my hand, it was hurting a bit, but anyways... I need some help with a jutsu. I know what needs to be done, but there's no one that will help me. This may sound weird, but will you tie my hands behind my back so I can try and escape?"
Natsumi walked over to where the ninja tool were and grabbed a lengthy piece of rope. She then acknowledged Batsu's request. "Yeah, sure. I can do that, but I just wanna tell you that you must escape this without any use of chakra... okay?"
Batsu smiled and gave a polite nod as he placed his hands behind his back and let Nasumi tie his hands up. The boy struggled to break free from the rope's grip and found it to be quite easy. Either she didn't tie the rope hard enough or Batsu was a better ninja than he thought. Either way, the boy slithered out of the rope with ease.

Natsumi raised an eyebrow as she saw how quick and how easy the boy made it through the rope. She decided that she would have to tie him up a little tighter just to give him more of a challenge. "Nice work... okay this time you can actually use your chakra in order to break free from the rope. This time, I won't be so nice since you got through so easily the first time. Got it?" Nasumi gave Batsu a slight smile as she went back to binding Batsu's hands together again... this time a little harder.
Batsu winced a little bit as the girl did in fact tie his hands down harder, but he was confident that he could break free, especially since he could use chakra now. The boy closed his eyes and focused his own chakra into his hands and wriggled himself free once again with ease.

Akemi approached Natsumi and had her tie him up nice and tight. After she was done, and after a few perverse thoughts, he focused his chakra on the knot and loosened it before slipping his hands out. Akemi had to admit, it wasn't as easy as he wanted it to be, but it was still pretty easy nonetheless.
((Going into lazy mode to catch up. Social life has been devouring my gaia time lately.))

(No longer trying for exp, just going for jutsu.)
Akemi wandered off, he would rather learn a different technique. He grabbed a baseball pitching machine from a playground not to far away and posted up in front of it, then he gathered a bunch of toys and logs from the surrounding area, then he went back to the academy and asked Natsumi about the jutsu. "So about the Replacement technique ... I would assume you just focus your chakra on an object and kind of combine the clone technique with it, then when they hit the clone it hits the object right? Meanwhile you move away."
Natsumi nodded, "Yup, you got it kid. Want me to toss a couple kunai your way while you practice?"
Akemi shook his head and said, "Nope, I'm good, I'd rather do it on my own."
(11+15=26)
Akemi wandered back into the playground and began to load ten baseballs into the machine. Then he positioned himself in front of the machine and listened to the whirring noise of it warming up and the whoooomp as the first ball was sent towards him. As the ball came towards him he braced himself and prepared to use the technique, focusing his chakra on the bucket beside him he watched as the ball sailed closer, then he winced just as it was about to hit him. Poof.

When Akemi opened his eyes it was just in time to hear the little plastic bucket shatter off to his right. Then he heard the sound of the pitching machine reloading and he stepped over again. Whoooomp . In came the second ball. This time he picked one of the logs, as it would be more sturdy. As it flew at him he closed his eyes and focused on the log, as well as thinking about where he wanted to land, which was behind the ball. Poof.

This time he quickly looked back to see the ball whizzing past him and into the log. He could even swear that he saw himself vanish. Success. This was nearly as good as kunai throwing. Whoooomp . Out came the third ball and Akemi focused his chakra on another bucket off to his right. The ball sailed closer and closer to him until .... Poof.

Akemi was becoming tired. Okay this time he would try to appear by the machine and turn it off, then a push up break and some lunch. The ball came out of the machine. Whoooomp . Akemi braced himself again as the fourth ball sailed towards him and then he focused on a log and Poof. Akemi appeared by the machine and tuned it off. It was time to recover some chakra and do a little strength training

Akemi dropped to the ground and started to do some push ups. He began with the simple up down of pushups, but as his face went into the ground he got a whiff of the mud on the ground, which filled his nose and caused him to push himself up and relocate so that he could avoid the stench. Akemi scouted the playground for other places.

Akemi saw the monkey bars and immediately thought about doing pull ups. He walked to the bars and grabbed hold, tucking his feet back behind him and pulling himself up above the bar and exhaling. Akemi repeated this process twenty times before dropping to the ground and looking around for his next workout.
18+1=19 (CP 3/16) (Training 2/10)
Akemi figure that the monkey bars were a pretty good place for working out, so he dropped his bag on the ground and grabbed hold of the bars, turning himself upside down and looping his legs through the monkey bars before letting go with his hands.and bracing his ankles on another bar. He began to do twenty hanging crunches, then when he was done he unlooped his feet and flipped out of the monkey bars.
8+1=9 (CP 4/16) (Training 2/10)
Akemi noticed that the ground below the monkey bars was comprised of wood chips and decided to try and do push ups again. He laid his body down on the ground and forced himself up into the leaning rest position. After he got about six push ups in he determined that wood chips were painful and unstable, so he stopped and got up. Now it was time to try the jutsu again.
(3+15=18 ) (Replacement Technique)
Akemi walked over to the machine and turned it on. As it whirred into life Akemi walked in front of the machine for one more try. The ball released and loaded into the chamber, then whooooomp! The ball flew at Akemi and he focused on another log. Poof. He disappeared and soon after Akemi heard the crack of the wood as the baseball hit the log.

Akemi turned off the machine and walked around the playground, searching for dry ground unsuccessful. Akemi decided to try and tough out the stinky mud again and got into the pushup position, but as he did the raw sewage smell began to overwhelm his sensitive nose and he had to get up again.

Seemingly mear moments after leaving the meeting, Taka appeared at the school. He appeared suddenly out of nowhere, looking as if he had simply teleported to the spot, which he hadn't of course. He watched for a moment as Natsumi taught the students, and decided to let her finishhelping the students with thier jutsu. She always seemed to enjoying teaching students, at least as a side job, perhaps he'd have her do it full time. Well it was something to think over.
Shinzu on the other hand, quickly sat up and looked around. "Wow, it's been awhile since we've had this many Academy Students." He stood up and nodded, this was a good thing, no doubt about that and hopefully he'd be a part of a full team again. He felt a bit out of place here though, he was a genin after all, so he decded to go see if there where any one man mission she could go on. So he began his walk to the council headquarters.

Taka-sensei seemingly poofed back into the academy and it caught Batsu's attention Now was the time for the boy to have a bit of light-hearted fun. He waited just as patiently untl his teacher wasn't paying attention and slid his hand into his bag and pulled out a small needle-like tool and launched it at his sensei. The boy had nl experience with the weapon at all and he knew that Taka-sensei was exceedingly strong, so in his mind things would be okay. Besides, the other people around he didn't know and those he knew OF, he didn't trust. Taka-sensei was the only person who he felt most comfortable with.

Things were looking up for him.(2) Kagami was sweating by this time, and his body had begun to ache as he trained. He let the fatigue mess up his concentration on the tension training for expanding his chakra, and ended up gaining nothing.(4) He hadnt improved much from the last attempt's cycle. This cycle was weak, and full of doubt. It made him think back on the words of his dead adopted father. "Never give up. Never Surrender. Try Again." Those words were simple, but true. He couldnt expect to get things right every time, or else there would be no need for training and furthering himself.(19) This cycle, with the renewed faith in his late father and mentor's words and teachings helped Kagamijiro regain himself. His effort in focusing and renewing his chakra into a stronger force helped him sharpen and toughen himself for more complex tasks to come. He was simply furthering himself for genin exams which would require more effort, and strength on his part.(9) He had grown tired, and the repeated training and pushing his body to the limits didnt seem to be having a positive effect in the long run, however, Kagamijiro didnt have the wisdom to stop. He kept pushing himself to succeed, even though he was running on fumes.(9) With sweat now pouring down his head, he was starting to feel a bit dehydrated, and this made his concentration harder to maintain as he tried to wash away the weakness in his chakra by circulation and use of his chakra coil. He just needed to rest, and maybe he might be able to do it to a higher degree.(2) Finally, another failure had opened the young boy's eyes, which he had clouded with overconfidence. It caused him to collapse backwards onto the ground were he laid looking up at the sky. He cursed at himself for trying too hard. He knew he had limits, but he only desired to push past them and expand his horizons, however, his body was telling him that the ship he wanted to sail wasnt ready yet and he would need to take it slower.

Mizuiro placed a tag on a wooden target that looked like a person, right on the chest over the heart and then stepped back to a safe distance. He concentrated his chakra on it thoroughly, and just thought about how much he wanted it to explode. He then did the snake seal and it's explosion was quite big, it turned the wooden person to shrapnel. Mizuiro was happy with this one, he looked at the shrapnel and saw that the chucks were pretty big, and also noticed that the legs were still in-tacked.

Akemi got up and turned on the pitching machine again. It whirred away as it warmed up once more, and Akemi took his position. As the first ball loaded into to lower part Akemi began to focus his chakra on the log beside him. Whoooomp! The ball came and Akemi braced himself for the hit, but once again he dodged the ball and appeared beside the machine just as the ball hit the log.

Akemi now acknowledged that he was pretty good at this jutsu and thus he decided to try and pull it off with his eyes open. The ball dropped into the chamber and loaded as Akemi stared it down and whooomp! it came flying at him. Akemi blinked just as it was about to hit him, but still appeared by the machine nonetheless.
(9+15= 24)
Okay, time to aim to the right. Akemi walked back in front of the machine and double checked the position of the log behind him. Then he waited until he heard the whoooomp of the machine. His eyes remained right and his chakra was focused at the log behind him. Just before it hit he vanished and reappeared midway between the machine and where he was, but more importantly, he was on the right side, not the left.

Akemi tried again, listening for the ball to load as he walked to the area in front of the machine. Whooooomp! The ball soared at him and Akemi remained without worry even as it drew withing an inch of his face and he disappeared and reappeared behind the ball, reaching out and catching it just as it hit the log. The log fell and the ball remained in his hand.

Akemi walked over to the pitching machine and turned it off. He was a little exhausted from all this training, but he was sure he had it down. He'd go back to his physical fitness routine for a bit, then he would finish up the jutsu.
Not knowing what he wanted to do though, Akemi looked around and saw the log he had been training with, it was dented to hell. He decided to chop wood, but in order to get an axe he would have to run to the shed, so Akemi ran from the playground, towards the toolshed to retrieve the axe, and then ran back with it.
(9+1= 10) CP+1 (2/16)
Running with a heavy axe was now joke, when Akemi got back to the playground he sought out a good tree, and found one. It was about a foot thick at the base, and should have been easy enough to chop, so he reared back the axe and struck it downward at the tree to chop it, and while it successfully landed on its target, it would take a few more strikes to actually cut it.
(10+1= 11) CP+1 (3/16)
Akemi swung down the axe again and the cracking of wood sounded about the area as the small tree fell and Akemi caught it. He walked with it to position it how he wanted and dropped it. Unknowingly he had dropped it on the axe and had to wedge it out from beneath the tree to retrieve it. Then he set into cutting himself another log for the jutsu, and he was successful.
(5+1=6) CP+1 (4/16)
Akemi decided that having only one log cut was a waste of a tree, so he decided to keep chopping, unfortunately upon his next swing of the axe, the weapon went sailing off into the woods and Akemi went to go look for it. Sadly the axe could not be found and Akemi decided to go back to training instead.
(6+15=21) JUTSU MASTERED!
Akemi flipped on the pitching machine and went to the line again as it reloaded. Whooooomp! The ball soared towards him and akemi now knew what he wanted to do to test that he had perfected the technique. As the ball was about to hit him he focused his chakra on the freshly cut log, disappeared and reappeared by the pitching machine just as the ball hit. Before the ball could bounce back he threw a kunai into it and pinned the ball to the log.
Now that it was perfected he picked up the baseballs and loaded them back into the machine, powered down the machine and walked it back to the storage shed.

His dedication, focus, and determination allowed him to progress a little more in his training, and this brought a smile of confidence to his face.(3) He then got distracted by a bird fluttering to it's nest to feed it's young. The scene made Kagamijiro think back to his father, and how the black smith had provided for him, and had selected him personally from the orphanage. The only issue with this was that Kagami had forgotten that he was training and thus made no progress with that attempt or lack there of.
(7) His training continued and his focus did not improve, so he vowed to stab himself in the foot with a rusty butter knife if he did not make any progress in his training with the next few tries at expanding his chakra. He didnt appreciate his failure to produce results. He felt like his body was letting him down.(10) However, his body responded well to threats. As Kagami focused, and pushed himself, sweat rolled down his head, and he felt a strengthening start occuring. "That's the stuff...just a little more effort." He grumbled as he practiced and kept trying to figure out what made his focus on key.

Taka hadn't really been paying too much attention to Batsu, he had been more concerned with how everyone else was progressing. Thus he was surprised when the senbon hit him in the arm. He instantly reacted and suddenly poofed behind Batsu. "Batsu-kun why are you throwing Senbon at your honorable Taka-Sensei." He said from behind Batsu, making sure to drop the now bloody Senbon in front of Batsu. "Batsu-kun, please come with me, we must talk."

Batsu had a HUGE smirk on his face... right up until he saw the seenbon hit his teacher. The smirk then turned into a look of horror. Sure, he got a hit on one of the strongest people he ever saw, but at what cost? Taka-sensei was his mentor and to a lesser extent, his idol. But he hit the same person that he looked up to. This damn near crushed Batsu's entire being. He wanted to just collapse and start crying but his pride held him back from doing so.
As Taka-sensei appeared behind him and dropped the bloody senbon in front of his face, his eyes followed along the needle and he heard the lightweight tool hit the ground. What normally would sound like a small "ting" ended up sounding like a loud THUD... and now Taka-sensei called him out to go elsewhere. Batsu dropped his head and turned around. The boy could only think of one thing. Taka-sensei was going to MURDER him. Those he was scared, Batsu sucked it up and followed Taka-sensei.
