He shrugged and plunged both gauntlets into the ground once again. If this man wanted to die, so be it...far be it from him to not grant his wish. Xol gave a tug and the ground split in a long plank like fissure, measuring ten feet deep by ten feet wide by 50 feet in length. A grunt escaped his lips as he tugged upwards and let go, hoping to flip the earth wall upside down and trap Lan underneath.

While Xol has mastered the ability to teleport, he could still only use it in short bursts, four to five at a time before feeling the energy drain. This was one of those times.

He dissapeared in a plume of black mist, appearing to Lans behind with a wicked grin.

"I really don't want to kill you...however if you proceed on this path I won't be able to help myself..."

He dissapeared in another plume of black mist appearing to Lans front as two thick blades of dark matter appeared in his gauntleted hands. Without so much as a warning he began to stab rapidly at the mans chest and gut while moving forward at an even pace, the movements of his arms nothing more than mere black blurs.

Xol transformed the blades of dark matter into orbs of dark matter and shot them at the dome extending from Lan. He used the energy dispelled from the orbs to shoot himself backwards away, landing on the ground and dragging his laws the whole length.

"Fine...I'll make you come to me..."
"Fine...I'll make you come to me..."

A sneer graced his lips as he dug both gauntlets into the ground, removing a significantly larger chunk of earth than he had previously. Leaping into the air, he again ripped the earthern chunk in half and tossed them at Lan, each increasing their velocity as they flew through the air.

With that done, he cupped both the gauntlets together and an orb of anti-matter rapidly began to form. Streaks of blood red energy snaked around the orbs circumference as it grew in from golfball to a softball size.

"Xol...Xol...Xol...Xol..." Heswina's voice filled Xol's mind every few seconds. Even if Xol manages to block the voice she would find another way in. Her very being and essence was now engraved into Xol's. Because she was not there, attempting to trace the source of the voice would find nothing. "Xol...why do you fight...? Why...Xol...Xol...Xol...she has your eyes...Xol...Xol...Xol." Images of Diana, Xol's daughter, flashed through his eyes and mind. "Xol...she's strong, just like you are...Xol...Xol...Xol. You felt it yourself, when you held her...Xol...Xol...Xol..." The soft whispers continued to enter Xol's mind, one after the other.

He paused momentarily, hearing Heswina's voice...but was able to shut her out for the most part, siphoning more energy into the orb of anti-matter he was forming in his cupped gauntlets.

It was roughly a foot in diameter, easily measurable to a ton of dynamite upon detonation. He could easily have made it stronger, but he needed the armory to be intact when he found it.

"And that burning fury will be quelched with the darkness I know hold in my hand..."

Xol growled, releasing the orb at Lan. It flew with unparalleled speed towards its target, launching out streams of blood red energy that marred the ground with divits.

"Darkness will always flee when light is present."

The ball of silver light that had formed at the tip of his blade poped! The silver light slid down the sides of his sword until it was completely coated with the silvery energy. Taking a quick step off to the side Lan took the sword in both hands. His thoughts, as was his body, were fluid and every changing.

"With the Dark Chaos Lord approaching the soothing lambs, but one man would stand before his wicked might."

Lan's thoughts suddenly became words as he reared his blade back.

"And with one felled blow the darkness that was before him will be no more!"

The silver energy around Lan's sword acted as a shield. He struck the ball of anti-matter, broad side, first. Because of the build of the energy field it didn't cause the anti-matter attack to explode, if it should have inteded to, instead it acted like a rubbery surface, bouncing the attack backwards. The entire situtation resembled a game of baseball.

The orb bounced off Lan's shield and hit Xol, encompassing him in a shroud of darkness and quickly absorbing back into his body.

"Really now...what did you expect that to do?"
"Really now...what did you expect that to do?"

Xol dissapeared and reappeared to Lan's front, dashing forward and launching a powerful knee to his midsection while forming his gauntlets into a hammer like formation and bringing it down towards his face.
