Izuashi-chan I'm a floutist, yay me! I'm also a pianoist.. but I like the flute better. I can create shrieks!!! lol!

Theres this one guy I like, and his best friend told me that he used to play flute in like 5th grade, but he quit because people were making fun of him. If it weren't for those losers, I could be spending a lot more time with him. Some people need to be shoved in a bass drum and rolled down a hill. stare why not stick them in a room full of evil band directors (only the evil ones) and give them an insrtrument, tell them to play and let the Evil directors give them push ups b/c they arent tuned! no thats to harsh..OH WELL! Lol yeah. And so what if its harsh? They deserve it. And then after the band directors... then they get shoved in a bass drum and rolled down a hill. I've always wanted to do that, so it has to be in there xp sounds fun! WOHOO! *gos get the bass drum* umm i got one of the small marching ones, do you think we could shove them in it! Well actually. one of my best friends is a guy flute player! we sit next toeach other we have great fun i dont know what i'd do without him. he's staright as a post:] and well i also know a gay guy flute player so i dont do stereotypes!! :] Well, I'm not sayin' all are straight, I know some have to be gay. So, pretty much, the stereotype needs to die. And be burned. And to fullyalive, we might be able to shove one of them in there. But, I'll get our huge bass drum, and 2 of these other new drums that we have, but I have no idea what they're called. But, they're big and round, so rollin' them down the hill, will still be fun. twisted

Hell, a lot of the top floutists out there are men soooo....please drop them stereotypes please. We used to have a guy flute at our school last year. Then people that didn't even know him started rumors that he was gay and whatnot, so he quit. Our director was really pissed... First off, a lot of the gay guys I know a pretty awesome. Second, who cares if a guy can play the flute?! My band's also got two guys who play the clarinet and another that plays the oboe. And usually only girls play them in our school. No one says s**t to them, but when a guy plays the flute, here come the accusations! stare People suck... Yeah. People do suck. The EXACT same thind happened when I was in the 5th grade. This guy (I think his name was Matt...) decided to play flute. He lasted about a month and then his friends satrted saying things to him, so he quit. It was actually pretty sad; I thought he was kinda good.

Heyrrien_Rayne Hey! I'm a 2nd chair/1st chair flutist (depends what year of my lessons you want to reference) but yeah, I was thrilled when I found out there was a band nerds guild. Here's a question... has anyone else had the "And one time, at band camp..." joke pulled on them by a friend who thought it was funny?Because for the number of times I have had it done to me... next time someone does it I will throw my flute at them razz hehehe I hate that. This one kid, Jon (used to play the trumpet), kept saying those jokes. I got so fed up that I hit him over the head with my flute. Now there's this dent that I can't fix (I think it actually made my sound better) and he won't come near me if I'm around instuments.

Hey guys, thought I'd pop in for a moment. I play flute, though its hard on my hand cus I broke it in fifth grade. I'm really rusty though. I haven't really played all that much in a while. I didn't take band last year or this year because there is no room in my schedule, which sucks. Because I'm not taking band, my mother refuses to get my flute fixed. So i get the classic argument. She refuses to fix it because I'm not in band/ don't play it. But everytime I pick it up she yells at me becuase it hurts her ears, the pads need changed so it sounds horrible no matter what. So yeah, I'll have to wait till and I can get a job. Other than that I love playing flute piano and being in guard. smile So I thought I'd say hello to you all. I'll pop in from time to time.

*sigh* I need to go see my therapist.....i have named all three flutes that i use... Ko-ko is my favorite though... she is MINE.. not the schools.. but sadly i cant play her because she is in the shop..... MY POOR BABY!!!
