"Esther, dear, please confirm my conjecture in human anatomy."
No smoke. No style. A large, jeweled tome appeared next to him in brown, leather-bound, silver-and-gemstone glory, fussily waving a wide, green ribbon bookmark.
"Looks about right." A talking book! The yellowing pages leaved themselves through pages written entirely in tiny, curvy, gracefully dancing ... thingies. Whatever the hell it was, it wasn't English and it wasn't Elvish. The language of fae is rather simple... if you were born a fairy. "Circulate the blood a bit more."
"Oh, done." His poor victim would probably feel an excruciating, shock-like pain for about half a second... and then, nothingness...
Nothingness as in the good type; as in no pain nothingness.
"Don't worry, I didn't kill you." That should go without saying! His ever-pleasant smile looked down onto the boy. His face was so womanly that a change of clothing could turn him into a marvelous dress model. Only the size of his large hands and his height gave a away his gender. "Gave you some borrowed time. As long as you don't get yourself hurt within the next twelve hours or so, you should be just fine."
"That it? Can I go now?" Esther, as he called the book, had a distinct voice that was well-bred and whispery-soft. In addition, she also had a lingering Yorkshire accent. The effect was that of a Yorkshire native learning to speak common British and not quite making the cut.
"Go on."
Gone.
The man with the pleasant smile leaned back and properly knelt on one knee in a bowed greeting, extending his hand most elegantly... almost as if courting a lady. Taken in the wrong way, it would be a grevious insult. "Asheworth Fenier, Sir, at your service. Mage of all arts and librarian for hire." One'd half expect him to conjure a pack of business cards and throw them around with rose petals like confetti.
"Feeling any better?"

Sapphire stepped out of the limo, her head phones were on and the music was blaring. Her mother followed out of the car next. She was speaking to Sapphire about how great this school was going to be and this time she could actually stay, fit in, and hopefully not get kicked out for the fifth time. Sapphire didn't know what to expect, this was her fifth school and so far she never fit in. Her parents more than half forced her into this school. So, her attitude toward this school was a little less then dismissive. She half expected to be kicked out in the first month by the looks of the place. The rot iron gates looked like they were meant to scare people off, but all they did was intrigue her. There was something about this place. She would finally fit in and she could feel it, this time this is it. Her time, she looked up at the tall buildings and smiled to herself.
"Sapphire, are you even listening to me?" Her mother was speaking at to high of levels for this hour. People were starring at the two of them like they were the circus freaks on display.
"Do I ever listen to you?" Sapphire shot back turning around to face her mother now. "Look mom, let's do this differently this year." Her mom was looking at her in confusion. "I'm going by myself this year. I'm eighteen I can do it on my own." She saw the disbelief in her mom's eyes. "I have my acceptance letter. I have my map, which I don't need, so I have no idea why you gave it to me. I can do this. Just trust me for once." She smiled at her mom, looking sincere which normally never happens.
"Baby, I just, I mean...we've never done this before." Her mom sounded unsure.
"Yeah and I've never been to a school like this before. There's a first time for everything." She hugged her mom. "Mom I love you."
"I love you too." Her mom had started tearing, Sapphire barely said that any more. She let Sapphire go. "Okay go do it all on your own." Sapphire smiled wide and hugged her mom again.
Sapphire walked away from her mom, for the first time toward the school. "This is it," she breathed. There were people everywhere. Crowding everything, she felt alone. God I should've been born more confident. She thought to herself. She walked through the gates and a teacher approaches her.
"Welcome to Ria High School please show me your acceptance letter so I may give you your student ID"
Sapphire digs into her pocket and pulls out her acceptance letter. "Here." She smiled as polietly as she could. The teacher scanned her paper and handed her her school I.D.
"Welcome to Ria High Sapphire. Have a nice day."
"Thank you so much," she walked away looking at her I.D. "This is it." She said quietly and walked toward the courtyard,

●●● ßlakely ℓouise ãrmstrong ●●● Blakely smiled in victory as the boy left. “Boys are scum.” She muttered and turned to face the newcomer. “I have AP English Literature, Art, Environmental science, AP American Government, AP Calculus, French 5, AP Computers, and free period.” Blakely said reading off her schedule. She then peered over at Sun. “Yours?” She asked, and looked around the gate.
“We should head…” Blakely mumbled while looking down at her map. “To the courtyard, yes, that’d be a wonderful place to relax after our journey.” Blakely said and smiled at Sun. “Oh, and I never got you’re name.” Blakely inquired, walking ahead as Sun followed. Blakely watched the ground and observed the school as she moved along. She started twirling her pin straight hair as she walked.
(( Off to the courtyard….))

Being abandoned for the second tome today was not really what Amethya expected. 'Ok so I know I am new at this whole socializing thing but that does not mean that people are supposed to walk away mid-conversation. What am I suppos.....,' she stopped mid-thought due to the tingling on her angelic tattoos, someone was in trouble and being of angelic descent she had to help whether she wanted to or not.
Amethya walked outside to what she thought she was the source of her discomfort to find a young man laying at the base of a tree with older librarian looking man sitting over him. Amethya had no idea what to think of the two men that was until she saw that the older man was using advanced healing on the wounds that covered the younger dark haired man. She did not seem to be needed but she had to help. "Can I do thing to help," she asked after walking to the older mans right side and sitting down.

The man left Aremis, probably realizing that he refused to be eaten. Pfft, I showed him. Yeah, no easy meal here you demon! He thought silently, afraid that saying something might provoke him, making the previous assumption false. It was hard having his powers restricted. He didn't have complete control of them, so he put a binding enchantment on himself to keep from any accidental discharges of holy energy. Assault on another student probably wouldn't go over well, especially if they happened to be part demon. The magic would burn on contact in that instance. In his world, lesser demons out numbered the human population by a significant amount. Although not very powerful, they were still a threat to the average human. Aremis disposed of these on a regular basis, even though he was a beginner in the arts of wielding light magic. It was routine to come across several of these a day, spitting out small embers into hay stacks or catching them enjoying the poultry of a local farmer. The only cause of concern was finishing them. Even if impaled, eventually they would regenerate and come to their senses, continuing their reign of chaos. You had to bath their body in water or use purifying light, vaporizing their body. Most demons were immune to fire, thus burning their corpse would have no effect, and in some cases, impower their regeneration. It was educating the populus on the countryside that most priests had trouble with. But they were never of any true threat, even if they attacked in groups. The real danger was the larger, more powerful demons.
Any demon larger than a dog was considered an intermediate demon. If larger than a human, it was a common demon. If it was larger than a wagon, it was an advanced demon. But even the overlords, larger than most buildings, were not the most powerful--or treacherous. It was the demons that could take human form. Demonic energy worked in that it wanted to spread, to consume; to destroy. To compress that chaotic energy within the frail form of a human took immense power, making these demons potentially the most powerful beings in most worlds, that is, if they learn to control it. Most demons were unaware that they contained such darkness, and would go their whole lives without unlocking their potential. There are those, also, who acknowledge their power but refuse to wield it. Ceratin demons did not wish to be monsters, they hated what they were and hoped to become something better through their actions, but Aermis knew through his teachings, they could never become pure. Although he had some training, he still lacked the ability to sense how powerful demons were, explaing why when he sensed so many demons, he was hesitant of drawing any attention to himself--there was no telling how powerful they were, and he knew the limits of his power. A full-fledged demon could tear off Aremis' limbs, keep him alive with the dark arts, and then torture him until boredom tortured the demon. Other fates were generally considered a preferable alternative to ones of this sort, considering most demons were easily amused. He shuddered at the thought of becoming something's play thing, something that enjoyed inflicting pain upon others.
Before Aremis could even get up, something else approached. After quick analysis, he determined it was someone not something. An elf-girl, a beautiful elven girl, was approaching him. Her elegant white and blue dress flowed around her as she gracefully walked in Aremis' direction. What to say? I-I... I.. how would I... what did--should I say to a g-gi-girl? She stopped and asked if there was anything she could do. Just kill me now... he thought miserably. All his worst fears had graced him with their presence in a matter of minutes. He couldn't tell which was worse, a demon or this girl.

As Amethya sat next to the battered young man she realized that he was semi-awake. This was due to his irregular breathing and the emotions that were showing on his face. He must have been pretending to be dead to protect himself from something, whatever it is is a mystery to Amethya since he was right in front of a secured school. As she watched him Amethya saw a look of distress cross the young mans face. She thought it was due to the fact the all his injuries were not completely healed, even after the mysterious man had tried to heal him. Amethya knew she had to heal him so she took a few deep breaths before placing her hand a few inches above his chest. Thinking back to what her father had taught her she let the light blue holy energy flow through her to the wounds under her hands. She knew that it was working when she felt her tattoos start to tingle. Within a few seconds all the mans wounds were healed. Amethya decided to sit with the boy till he chose open his eyes.

My wounds... my muscles. I'm healed!. Aremis thought as he held up each of his limbs and turned them over for inspection. He thought for a moment, thinking over if there was any threat or other bodily harm that could come from standing. This was also to prevent from anymore humiliation on this day. From now on, things could only get better. After concluding that he was indeed healed, he stood up, this time on his good foot first, still hesitant of whether or not bruised muscle was healed, but found his joints and muscle's unusally relaxed and energized. After fully standing, he looked down and brushed himself off, chest to pants, and then each arm and leg. He shook his head, took a deep breathe, and then exhaled. He looked at the girl who was his apparent guardian angel. He couldn't get over her beauty, putting him at a loss for words. Luckily, he was the sort that would rather stand with a dumb look on his face and articulate later rather than try and speak before thinking, uttering out word fragments like he was semi-retarded. Either way, he failed, but atleast some dignity was preserved. Maybe she would think he was 'special' or something. Yeah, that would go over well. She might pat him on the head, help him find his helmet and leash and be on her way. He decided on something poetic. "Hey, nice chest-shirt." Great choice of words. A what? Oh, Jesus, what did I just say? He gave her a blank stare for a moment before trying to recover. He had a lot of ground to cover. "I, uh, meant your body." Epic recovery. Keep it up. "You wouldn't happen to be deaf, would you?" Even the deaf could have heard his stupidity. Wait did I just ask her that? I meant to think it! He could only pray in hope that she spoke another language. He resigned to shut up with a joking expression on his face; he knew he was screwed.

Kreig approached the massive iron gates of Ria High and smiled to himself. As he stepped inside he attempted to fix his tie, only to find it immediately came loose as it usually does. He was so consumed in trying to fix his tie that he ran face first into a brick wall.
However, as Kreig looked up he realized the brick wall he rammed into was actually an android of some kind. Kreig could still hear the dieing humm of the impact. Unphased by the collision, the android asked in a pleasing voice, "Welcome to Ria High School please show me your acceptance letter so I may give you your student ID." Kreig let a frown fall across his face, knowing full well the android would not respond to his obvious displeasure.
Regardless, Kreig produced his pitiful looking acceptance sheet with a flash of his hand. Unimpressed, the android quickly snatched the papers and scanned them quietly. After about a minute, the android quickly signed something in one fluent motion and handed the papers back to Kreig, who took them rather rudely, mimicing the blunt style of the android. Without one single word Kreig walked off, heading in the direction that looked to be a courtyard.

Amethya started to smile as she watched the now healed man get up and brush himself off. Her father would be so happy with her considering this was the first time she healed someone. The fact that this was her first heal was not something she was going to tell the man that was now standing over her. It would probably freak him out more then he currently was, which at this moment was probably not the brightest idea. Realizing that she was sitting Amethya stood up and brushed off her back side which was probably covered in dirt. Once she finished, Amethya notice that she was surrounded by an awkward silence. The only thing to do was to say something but what was she to say. 'What if I say something and he walks away like everyone else has or if I make a fool of myself. It's not like I have actually succeeded with this whole socializing thing.'
Amethya was brought back to reality when she heard the man start to talk."... nice chest..," Amethya did not bother to listen to the end of the sentence. 'He said what! I can't believe this, I just saved the perv and the way he thanks me is by looking at my chest! Wait I might have miss heard him.' She took a breath and listened again just in time to hear him say, "..your body.." Ok this time she was sure that he was referring to her body. 'He does no have the right to talk to me like that he doesn't know anything about me not even my name. Where does he get off making comments about my chest.' Amethya's rage was very evident on her reddening face. If she was not an angle she would have slap him hard across the face but she couldn't so she tried to calm down again.
She took several deep breaths but this seemed to have no effect, so she tried something that her mother had taught her to do when she became upset, she pulled her knife out of her belt and used her power of manipulation to spin it over its self in front of her. As she did this she felt her anger slip out of her with the energy she used to keep the knife afloat. Now calmed she plucked her knife out of the air, put it back in her belt and sat down being tired from using so much energy and from being so upset.

Aremis watched as the expression on her face changed. She wasn't taking this well. What a surprise. He caught himseld still looking at her figure and snapped back to looking at her face. She was in shock. He feared for his life. Her face grew more and more red as the moments passed by, which turned out to only be seconds, but time is based on perception. He glanced at her hands which were reaching for something. He noticed her taking several deep breathes before she pulled out a knife. I really am going to die here. I guess it was deserved. Should I try and disarm her? Before he could act, the knife began spinning, slowly at first and then violently. It was a pretty knife, but that would have to wait. It kept getting faster as the air around it was sliced again and again.
Aremis took a step back. Was she going to use it as a projectile? was his first thought. He was relieved to see its kinetic energy subside and eventually reach zero. She grasped the knife and tucked it back into her belt. She remained standing but her expression read that she was dizzy. She sat down right where she had been standing, more of a collapsing motion from the looks of it. She must have used her energy charging an attack, but didn't have enough to finish me off. Thank you lady luck! He said as he looked to the sky and closed his eyes. He lowered his look to this girl before him. Somthing in him snapped and he felt sorry for this girl. She didn't even have the energy or capability to strike a jerk like himself, even though he completely deserved it. He approached her, warily, and knelt before her. He waited for awhile as she looked down, not making eye contact. He started, "Hey, sorry about what... I uh... said. It came out wrong, ya' know? I'm new to this whole socializing thing... atleast with someone pretty like yourself." He laughed lightly. He put his hand on her shoulder and asked with as much concern as he could possibly put in his voice, "Are you alright?"

TabKroama had gotten off of a taxi a few hundred feet from his destination, and was walking the rest of his way. There was a very easy turn-around spot and it was more convenient for the man to drop him off there than up at the final destination, so he had requested it. It wasn't that long of a walk, after all. He was awestruck at the size of the place though, was it actually this large when he first read about Ria High School? He was amazed, but happy. With such a big place, surely he would fit in. He heard it would be the perfect place for someone like him to go as well. TabHe was dragging a large brown suitcase behind him, he'd brought enough money to start a new life here, and upon being accepted eagerly left, although he felt bad about leaving his mother behind... He knew it was for the best. She would be able to get on with life without him around. The large brown suitcase was filled with everything he deemed necessary, although he really wasn't sure what would be. He hadn't even planned so much as where he'd be sleeping, did they have dorms? He hadn't a clue. Still, he walked happily, struggling as he pulled the moderately heavy suitcase along, thankful to the gods it actually had wheels. TABKroama finally made his way to the entrance of the school, this was it! His new life would start here and now, new friends, new places to go... and... He looked down to the ground in sudden confusion. "What do i do now..." He asked himself quietly. He literally left with essentials right after figuring out he'd been accepted, no knowledge of what kind of paperwork and such he might have to fill out to enter certain classes or get his dorm or how much money he'd actually need. He wouldn't turn back now though, he'd finally come all this way for a fresh start, and that's what he would get. He lifted his head up and smiled exaggeratedly for no reason and to no one.

"I am fine I, just tired from healing you," Amethya responded. She had never used that much energy before. The most she had ever done with her energy is to heal a minor wound or to lift an object, she had never actually expected to heal a full grow man. If that is how the school year started she had know idea how she was going to make it to the end.
Coming back to reality she took a deep breath and looked the man in the eyes "I am grateful for you concern but I don't know who you are so do you mind taking you hands off me?" Amethya said as kindly as possible. She did not really want to hurt his feeling but she kind of appreciated personal space even if the man holding her was as hansom as he is. She had not noticed it till that moment but the man if front of her had gorgeous dark long hair with beep opaque eyes that matched. Besides his looks there was something that spoke to her angelic side a sort of goodness that not many had.

~||Allison||.. ...Handbrake, steer left, slam it right, accelerate, four-wheel drift, straighten out the steering wheel, release brake, punch it...
All of this cycled through Allison's head as she drifted through the streets leading up to the drive-way of Ria High, in her 1999 Nissan Skyline R-34 GT-R. Her mother's scowling was barely audible over the huge stereo system, which was blasting Savior by Rise Against. Ali's GPS told her that she would reach her destination in only 500 feet, not to mention that the turn was at a 90 degree angle...What now Ali?
She smirked, she knew exactly what to do. Ali quickly sped up to 120 mph, only 100 feet away she pulled on the E-brake..Harder then ever..She turned the wheel right, and then spun it all the way to the left. Thus, putting them into a side-ways four wheel drift. The left side of the car now facing where the front was. Ali let go of the gas completely as they were only 70 feet away from the turn now. At 20 feet she let go of the E-brake and floored it. The tires spun a few times, making smoke, before they grabbed the ground and shot the car into the drive-way of Ria High. The smoke rose from the burning rubber on the black pavement, the intoxicating smell penetrating eveyone's nostrils. Attracting everyone's attention, not to mention the load purr of the engine as Ali switched gears.
For a grand finale, she threw the car into a drift and did a few doughnuts..She spotted a parking spot, slammed on the brakes, and glided right into it. The car's purr died down as the key was pulled from the ignition. The door flung open and out jumped Ali, with a huge grin that said, "That was fricken' awesome!" She then wanted to jump with glee, but her mind said..
..Just keep it cool, Ali. Just go get whatever info you need..
Ali quickly collected herself. Putting on a face that would intimidate anyone, especially if they just saw her skills behind the wheel. Although she was aiming to look like a bad-a** right now, she couldn't pull it off..Not with the cute face she has.
Seemingly gliding along the ground, she waltzed through the gates..She looked all around and didn't find anyone until she heard a voice from her left,
"Welcome to Ria High School please show me your acceptance letter so I may give you your student ID."
Ali smiled, she found the person, well..Robot, she need to see. She reached into her messenger bag and her fingers fumbled around inside of it. Searching for the papers blindly, Ali made a few funny faces here and there. Soon enough she found the papers and pulled them out giving a little giggle and handing them to the robot.
The robot scanned the papers in a matter of seconds and then gave her an ID card. Ali looked over it, they looked a lot better then her old high schools'. Ali walked back to her car, grabbed her two wagon fulls of her items, said her good-byes to her parents, and then watched them drive away in her car. Oh, how she would miss her Skyline.

TabKroama was standing around, not sure exactly of what he was supposed to be doing at the moment. He just happened to be standing beside the road when a car came speeding by, the gust of wind would lift his skirt if he didn't stop it with his hand. He watched the car do several spins and seem to try to catch the attention of anyone and everyone... of course his attention was caught. He went lightheaded for a moment when the car first went right by him, feeling as though he was going to get hit. TabKroama was kind of lucky however... the girl who traveled by was greeted by some girl, apparently one helping the students out. He must not have seemed ready or something... in any case that was one more thing he wouldn't have to deal with. The car girl was actually very cute, despite what he expected the driver to be... some kind of playboy guy, or something like that. He walked closer struggling with his bag too heavy for himself. The car girl went to grab something from her car apparently, he would take this time to speak to the other one. "Hey, excuse me!" He called out to the woman the car girl had been talking too. TabThe woman would respond to him in almost a mechanic way, "Welcome to Ria High School please show me your acceptance letter so I may give you your student ID." He nodded and began searching his backpack, ending up unloading several clothes and other bags before he could the letter he was looking for and handing it over. "Sorry about that... it was kind of burried..." Kroama responded to the woman... who seemed to be looking over his acceptance letter for only a few seconds before handing him a car. "You don't talk much do you?" He spoke and giggled to himself ignorantly. His voice was as feminine as his appearance. He looked over at the car girl to see what she had went to grab, and waved to the stranger happily.
