" I believe madam Allure and I were about to take a walk. We shouldn't be long, I know a fantastic restaurant I can show you all when we get back."
He held his arm out for Allure to take.
" shall we ?"

She nodded in agreement and took his hand.
Allure began walking when she bumped into a stranger who appeared to be carrying a fling pistol and a sword. "Escuse me..."
The stranger shoved against Salem as well then walked on without a word.
She placed her hand on her hip and mumbled, "That's odd.."
A moment later she realized her coin purse should've been where she'd placed her hand but it wasn't.
She whispered the Salem,
"Are you suddenly missing anything? My coin purse is gone...I believe that man was the cause."

Call out to your god, see if he answers. Salem checked himself. His pocket watch was missing.
" Indeed, it would seem he made off with my watch as well."
Salem watched the man duck down an ally. He and Allure followed the man, Only to find him waiting for them there. pistol and sword in hand. A wicked smile crossed his face.
"Now then, you and the b***h give me everything you've got and this wont get ugly."
Salem scoffed.
" Sir, you are in the presence of a lady, you will do well to keep a civil tounge or I will remove it, is that understood?"
The man raised an eyebrow, then laughed and stabbed Salem strait through the stomach with his blade. Salem just stood there and looked at the man.
The blade had passed clear through Salem, but he didn't cringe, nor did any blood flow from the wound. The man looked horrified. Salem looked a little confused until he noticed the blade passing through his body.
" Right umm...whats the word.... Right... Oooooh owwww oh the humanity Ive been stabbed oh the pain ahhhhh."
He looked over his shoulder at Allure.
" was that convincing?"
The man had let go of the sword, still stuck strait through Salem. He stumbled back waving his pistol about.
" you ... you stay back ! Demon! "
Salem rolled his eyes.
" Now thats a bit unfair. Im not a - "
Salem was interrupted by the man shooting him square in the chest with the pistol. Salem stumbled back from the force of the impact, slipping and falling to the ground. As he stood he removed his leather gloves.
" I had hoped it wouldn't come to this, but even a gentleman's patience has its limits."
Salem placed both his hands on either side of the man's face and looked strait into his eyes. The mugger's skin slowly started to lose its color, until it was a pale white, the man's skin grew taunt on his face, a look of terror still evident on his face. As Salem let go and the man dropped to the ground, the man let out a final sigh and lay dead on the ground. He looked as though he had been dead for a few weeks, Just on the verge of Decay.
Salem put his gloves back on, picked up his cane, pulled the sword from his stomach and tossed it back at the man. He gathered their things from the man's body, then looked at Allure.
" I will Explain later I promise, but that pistol shot is going to draw unwanted attention, we need to go."

Allure watched in shock. She'd never met a man like him.
She heard his final words and nodded.
"Indeed, let's go. Whenb we find a safe spot...I'd really like you to explain what that was and I, in turn, will explain something you should know about me too."

Call out to your god, see if he answers. Salem nodded.
" This evening should prove enlightening for us both. I have a safe house we can stay at until the dust settles."
The two walked out from a side street connected to the ally just as someone from the other entrance screamed. They made their way through back streets until they reached a ugly old abandoned house. Salem help ed Allure through the window, before climbing through himself.
" Welcome to my humble abode."

Allure entered the house and looked around. It wasn't in the best shape yet she liked it.
"This seems like a good place" she said while smiling. "In my travels, I've had to spend weeks in many a place of this sort or settle with the ground outside or a cave if lucky. A cave being my preference"
She stopped looking around and turned to him.
"Which actually fits in with what I promised to tell you."

Call out to your god, see if he answers. Salem removed his jacket and began patching the new holes with a small repair kit he pulled from under the table. He then took his shirt off to fix it as well. His bare back shown to Allure for the first time. The patchwork of stitch marks from sewing holes in his own body shut looked like a road plan, there were so many. His skin had patches where other skin, not his own had been sewn on the repair holes too be to just be stitched closed.
He laughed as Allure made the comment about promising to tell him something.
" Ive got it ! Your a cave monster! Well my dear your the prettiest cave monster Ive ever met."
He laughed to himself loudly and resumed sewing his shirt.
The hole in his back from where the bullet had gone strait through must have seemed odd to Allure.
Not just that it wasn't bleeding, but that there was in fact, no hole. Only the skin was torn, the inside of the wound was dark black, with a liquid sheen to it. It flowed and stirred like water in the wind.
Salem held a mirror up behind himself and made to sew the hole shut. the liquid shifted away from his hand, he stitched the wound closed and spoke.
" Well then my dear. lets hear it..."

Allure watched silently trying to understand what was taking place.
Could all of that really not hurt him...?
When he spoke to her she giggled.
"Not quite a cave monster. Sorry to dissappoint.
A demo- Escuse me,"
She raised one eyebrow and continued,
"but weren't you going to explain what went on first?"
Her face carried a smile and she didn't seem at all worried due to all she'd already experienced. Not much could surprise her now.

You can't take the sky from me. Salem smiled and put his fixed shirt back on, followed by his coat.
" I am, for all intents and purposes, Dead. I feel no pain, I do not bleed, nor feel hunger or thirst. I do not tire, breath, nor do I sleep. My body and spirit it would seem, are halted in time, as are the thing directly connected to myself. Such as the patches of skin not my own you may have noticed sewn to myself to cover some of my larger holes. I sometimes see spirits, like that rather tall fellow who was following you about... I have been this way for over seventy years. In that time I have traveled the world seeking an answer to what it is I actually am, My studies have gotten me nowhere, Although I do speak over thirty two different languages. My only need it seems, is to drain the life force of other living things. Which you saw me do to that man. Either through my hands, or lips, I can pull the essence of life from someones body to keep myself going."
He noticed she might be a bit uncomfortable.
"Worry not though my dear, I only need do so about once a day, and I prefer to do so from much less....Sentient things, like plants and such. Although I would prefer not to do it at all. I feel each death, whether I the cause or not, as though it were my own. I am cursed it would seem to wander this earth eternally until my purpose should reveal itself. I am unsure as to what that purpose is as of yet, but an old China man once told me when all seemed lost, to make my way to Paris, and a Queen would show me my way."
He smirked.
"And while beautiful, as you are, royalty doesn't tend to walk amongst the rabble as iit were ......"
He shook his head, realizing he was rambling.
" forgive me though , I carry on. What I did to that man, was necessary, he would have only made more of a fuss, and Ive seen what the authority's do to my kind around here.....Ive lost a lot of good friends these past few months, one even more so recently. Rather bit of a nutter actually, liked to kill things for fun, Firey chap as it were. Haven't seen him in a few days.... "
He shrugged.
" Well then miss, now that you've had the pleasure of listening to the rambles of an old man, though young and handsome as I may be, what pray tell is your story? "
((He was referring to Sol, but the last time he saw him alive was before Sol met up with you, hence why he didn't recognize Sol when he was a spirit and not on fire XD sorry that was kinda long. ))

Allure eyes were wide and her hands held tight to the sides of her dress.
She shook her to regain herself as she tried to figure out what to say. Thoughts of Sol and her being a woman meant to be Queen came to mind.
Fate works in odd ways it would appear..
She looked at him directly in the eyes and smiled.
She began to explain herself then and her eyes a brillaint blue though the smile escaped her face.
"Thank you for telling me. I may have been more shocked if this city didn't already show me so many kinds of beings.
As mentioned, I am Lumiere Allure DeLeon, rightful Queen of DeLeon. The old China man....may have meant me but I have no idea why...perhaps I'm not the only Queen here. I mean, there certainetly is also the Queen of France and I have yet to claim the thrown to DeLeon."
"You see, my family fled the kingdom when my father discovered how corrupt it was. A man by the name of Raphael seized power afterwords. He had us hunted by the kingdom's main enemy, The Fire Tribe. I know not why he sided with them but once strong enough to face him, I intend to find out and rid the kingdom of his dark presense. I've only heard of bad happenings since he took power. Those living in the kingdom have attempted to rebel and failed as the Fire Tribe aids him."
"Now to explain what exactly I am. My kind are known as Snow Demons. In battle, you'd see this is not my true form. A dark pale blue skin covers me and my eyes go white. My eyes been known, oddly enough, the signify my mood. I know not why..."
"I aim to return to the kingdom to reclain it and avenge my parents but as of now...I don't hold the strength. Hopefully someday soon, I will."
She smiled,
"Seems I ramble as well...You've not run into an ordinary girl. I'm, what's known well in these parts, as an Elemental"

She closed her eyes and smiled.
"As desired."
The air became a chilling cold and she shot opened her eyes to reveal they wee a pure white. In front of her chest wind was collecting, and as that bit of wint grew colder, frost formed. And large snowflake formed thenshe closed her eyes again and it shattered. Tiny shards of sparkling ice surrounded her then melted before even touching the floor and the temperature became normal.

" It would seem not all our talents are destructive... Just be warned, you seem to be good at keeping attention away from yourself, but the authority's here do not look kindly to people like us. It would probably be for the best if your talent stayed out of the public eye."
He shrugged.
" But do what you will, it has not been my place to give orders for a long time... I digress, we should get back to your companions. things should have eased by now."

"My 'talents', as you put it, have already been discovered once. Since, I've been more caution when using them. In any case, I know of ways to use my power without appearing to be. The issue is that I need close my eyes when doing so. If I don't use too much at once then my skin will stay like this but to increase power I need to get colder myself hence the color change and the tougher skin."
"As it stand, I'd advise you to do the same and you're right, we should get going. They might be worried. We've been gone quite a while."

You can't take the sky from me. Salem grabbed a small black bag from a shelf next to him, and slung it over his shoulder. He picked up his cane and walked to the window.
" We should go then. After you Milady."
He helped Allure through the window after climbing back out himself.
A patrol of guards walked on the other side of the street.
" It would seem as though things haven't cooled down entirely. It might be a good Idea to take a round about way there, Just in case. "
