((Well, I didn't think that Angel was in the park, I hadn't seen her among the posts. So I figured she was back at the base. But yes, warning. Knights are hunting all immortals, children included))
Janine grunted as the claw slashed her. Once again the blow caught on her armor, barely stopping the claws from piercing into her chest.
She swung the blade once again, meaning to drive him back.
Janine whispered once again, power building again.

Zeig stopped and searched the buildings as he jumped back off of the lycan. Zeig could sense the danger for himself.

(That doesn’t matter…they arrived after the knights left.)
Alasdair grinned as he vanished once again. It was time to get serious; the void seemed to agree with him. Besides worst case scenario he would leave her there for eternity. The void seemed to take over the battle as it slowly increased the pressure around the knight. The pressure pulled the knight inward and downwards. Eventually it would be so strong that it could shatter diamonds.

Cynder watched the proceedings with amusement, her crimson eyes regarding Layna with interest. "This is... Odd, I'll say that much." she laughed to herself, kicking her legs back and forth as she sat on one of the tree branches. The Tainted watched the gunshot go off, and Layna gain the Demon eyes. She raised an eyebrow and flicked her silver hair over her shoulder. "Very interesting... I've not seen that occur before in my lifetime... Then again, I'm not that old." Cynder murmured to herself, cocking her head with amusement. "Let's watch the proceedings and see what happens..." Cynder rested against the trunk of the tree and watched the fight.

Ceon stood up quickly and ran to Layna, his shirt was completely red and filled with holes front and back. "Layna, are you alright? How's how's Gabriel?"

Layna looked back at Ceon, blinking her eyes continuously. Gabriel whimpered, reaching out for his father. Layna closed her eyes, pain lancing through her skull. Another headache. "Thank goodness...." She whispered, her eyes opening to stare up at the sky. She was so happy, for the Voice must have saved her once again. It had to be. Ever since the dock incident, so many things had occurred.

Ceon took Gabriel and held him close against him. He sighed in relief, not seeing any bullet holes on his son. "Thank goodness." He looked up at Layna, "We have to get out of here before he gets shot at again, or worse."

Janine finished her prayer, and found herself back on the rooftop.
"Thank you my father" she whispered, looking up at the sky.
She groped at the clips that held her breastplate, and undid them, sending the blessed silver armor clanging to the rooftop.
She quickly ran to her weapon case, thankful her men left it behind, and pulled out her gun, hefting it easily in one hand.
"Come out come out Void Master"

Layna looked back at Ceon now. Her lips curled back over her teeth as she snarled. "I'm tired of people hurting our family..." She muttered, an hard edge to her voice. Her eyes darted across the branches. A Demon? The smell wasn't unpleasant, but it was familiar. "Cynder..?" She said, surprised. She hadn't seen that Tainted in a long time.

Ceon smiled as Gabriel clutched his hole-filled shirt. "I am too love. These just aren't very good times for lycans." Ceon lifted his nose and snarled, "Now a tainted!?"

Alasdair stood open mouthed, alone in the nothingness of the void. No one could have done that, it was impossible to have left the void. The Void was God’s counterpart. Without one there was no other. The void was as confused as he was, but no matter the battle had to continue. An instant later Alasdair stood on the floor where he was, but he was still transformed. It seemed the Void was going to break the rules also and allow him to keep all the power even in light. It was something Alasdair’s body could take only a few times or else his body would decompose.
He breathed heavily as he scanned the room to remember where he was. He smiled as he thought about how to proceed. Alasdair vanished once more and his arms appeared bellow the knight once again and silently made their way to grab the knights heels.

Cynder jumped down from the tree and waved, grinning cynically. "Hello again, Layna!" she laughed cheerfully. "Cute kid. So, his name is Gabriel?" she had overheard Ceon speak his name. "Yes, I'm a Tainted. You don't have to be so rude about it, sheesh." she snapped at Ceon, balling her hands into fists and placing them on her hips. "You two alright? People seem to be after you lately - I wonder why." Cynder smirked cynically, and her silver hair shifted slightly as she cocked her head.
