Sin was talking to Wyvern. She was basically scolding him about preventing Valentine from getting the spine.
Wyvern didn't seemed phased but it was quite easy to tell that he had conflicting matters. He was Judge of Hell, he was suppose to get the spine. However, he was attached to Shinjo and her family, therefore he sort of considered himself the unoffical godfather of the Sha children.

Valentine glared at the War Judge as he passed. He was being patched up by Aiacos at the moment. Cut open at the belly, all bones broken, hanging by hooks at every joint with weights, impaled by burning hot rods, searing oil being poured down at the same exact spot. . . Not a good way to spend for three weeks straight.

Sanzo was bringing Hakkai and Gojyo back with Gojyo's help since he was the only one who could really move.
Hakkai's head was hung low, his chest was still aching.

Queen sighed and decided to go after the spine and leg of Beliar. "Looks like the plant has to catch them, eh?"
"Allow me to go."
Queen looked at the Egyptian Judge, "Are you sure you want to go instead of helping Wyvern?"
He chuckled, "Why not? It's only two pieces there. . . Nothing much otherwise. Fighting gods make it more interesting."
"If you wish. . Go on right ahead, Pharaoh."
The Sphinx nodded and headed off.

Sanzo managed to get Gojyo and Hakkai home. his look was calm though he was tired.
"Gojyo? Hakkai?" Kartia looked up with suprise.
Mozumi wasn't saying anything. He looked distant. He'd brought Taima in not too soon after Sanzo and the others.
"Mozumi." Kartia whispered.
