I have no idea why or how but my crazy cat sleeping on my laptop while I was asleep last night seems to have fixed my laptop. Woke up a bit ago and took her off it so I could try to turn it on again, opened it up and it was already running.
My psycho-kitty(as I affectionately call her) is now Oprah Kitty. Both because she's fat and she just gave me an awesome gift just because she felt like improving her ratings with me.

Meh......Scratch the previous comments about lappy. Closed it when I left for dinner with my grandmother. Came home to it doing the same s**t as yesterday again.....

Lo and behold, my laptop is suddenly working again.......WTF?! It keeps turning itself off and won't come back on but then it randomly turns itself on hours later after countless fruitless attempts........
My ******** laptop is haunted! Or it's sunspots, being serious trolls. Because my desktop automatically powers on when I plug it in but the monitor isn't working right.........
Again, I say WTF?!

Oi vey.....I think I finally have my laptop working again. I think the processor was overheating. As long as I remember to turn it off at night and let it cool down while I'm sleeping it seems to turn back on and work fine. =
