I don't have mixed feelings. stare The thing I can't stand, is that he starts a fairly good topic, and then ruins it. Yeah, the Vocation versus Proffession one showed great promise. The problem is, he only wants discourse between those of a like mind to his. He's not willing to entertain cross border conversation.

I'm bored of him responding to my posts in a trollish and insulting way. I'm tired of him making snide comments about different religions and races. I'm tired of him lying, obfuscating, deliberately throwing in red herrings, and so on. I'm tired of the attention whoring. And lastly, I am tired of all the ******** people who MISS him and WANT him AROUND and such. stressed

To me, I do not recall him being an a**, unless I baited him into doing it, but ah well. Thinking of Trolls, does EE keep getting banned or is she just not on as much?

Sometimes you HAVE to eat the food, like needing to eat the salmon of wisdom to understand the animals who save you from the bad people. Odin fed me fish and potatoes. It didn't teach me to hear animals, though. cry

It didn't teach me to hear animals, though. cry In the context of the movie, it was a pretty clear case of sneaking into an entity's home to burgle it, and further aggravating the violation of hospitality by stealing food. Not to mention the parallels and twists on the tale to Persephone and Hades that the movie had... Eat food somewhere, and you are stuck there. ninja Also, I can hear animals... not that I have quite mastered many of their languages on a comprehending (much less communicating) level. sweatdrop But I know what you mean. Did you garner any other odd insight, or was it just a case of old One Eye messing with humans again? He does that almost recreationally from what I recall of the Niebelungenlied and Rheingeld.

There's probably more that happened that I'm not aware of, but the pertinent bit is that's when I became Asatru and shortly thereafter I gave myself the kenning "Grimsdottir". Ah, well that clears things up a bit... I had this odd image of Odin, in a dark ally, motioning you in, and then opening his coat to reveal his stash of Sacred Salmon and Terrible Tators, offering enlightenment if you just take a bite... first nibble is free... sweatdrop
