"We're right behind you," Chloe assured Kaya, as Kaze lifted off, flying after Brayden as they too were sucked into the wall of shadow. A strange feeling, to be sure, it was both chilling and suppressing, but at least it wasn't molten.

A sudden flash once everyone had entered sealed the portal from the outside world, plunging everyone into total darkness for a brief moment, as even the flame on the end of Kaze's tail seemed to dull, not shining any light, despite still being aflame.

Brayden smiled, "That doesn't sound like such a bad idea I might join you guys for that... but..." he looked to Kaya.

"I.... I hate to ask this, but didn't you mention you had a sister that might be able to get rid of the effects of Pokemon DNA?" he asked. "I'd like to be rid of the whole fox thing once and for all... hopefully."

"I... I miss the ocean, the water... the rain..." he murmured. "I want to be able to enjoy a drizzle without having to worry about passing out," he smiled sadly.

There was plenty to take care of after that. It already seemed that he would need more badges not too long from now in order to keep Gin'iro in line. But for now, getting rid of the effects currently took priority. It had already caused enough trouble, and with the... Brayden grimaced, it sinking in again.

"I don't want to live with the fear that I can turn on you guys again like a disobedient pet," he shuddered. "I couldn't live with myself if I hurt any of you while I was like that..."

In all reality, he was having a horrible time coming to terms with it even now. Friendship was important to Brayden, and the thought of breaking that trust, no matter the reasons behind his actions, weighed heavily on the back of his mind.

"I'd like my normal hair color back too," he chuckled, lifting a few crimson strands out of his eyes.
