I am looking into making a moveset for an adamant luxray with a choice band, spark is of course the first move, since it is the only move of its type it can use that is physical, so how about superpower next? Does that sound good? AM I getting this competitive breeding thing right?

Luxray @ Choice Band
Nature: Adamant (+Atk,-Sp.Atk) or Jolly (+Spe, -Sp.Atk)
EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP
~ Spark / Thunder Fang
~ Crunch
~ Superpower
~ Ice Fang / Thunder Wave / Return

Spark vs Thunder Fang is strictly +5% accuracy/+20% Paralysis vs 10% Flinch. Ice Fang offers type coverage against Ground-types that would switch-in against Spark/Thunder Fang and Thunder Wave. Thunder Wave in general can slow down enemy sweepers. Alternatively, Return is the strongest physical attack Luxray can learn that can be used consecutively without repercussions. Crunch and Superpower are strictly for type coverage of one another.

I like the sound of that, but why not Ice Fang and Return instead of Crunch?

Or would Outrage be better somewhere?

The combination of a Dark-type move and a Fighting-type move covers just about everything for at least neutral damage together. The addition of Spark/TF offers STAB and Ice Fang is strictly for covering Ground-types and can scare away Dragons who commonly have a x4 weakness against such attacks.

I think there was a decent Gallade moveset around here somewhere...If I can't find it, can someone give me a good Moveset for one? (Also, what's a good Ice type Pokemon to use? I'm thinking of adding one to the team I'll register for the Wi-Fi Gyms. I know you guys want one at a time, but these are the last two I need for my Wi-Fi Gym team, and help would be appreciated.)

This is the set I myself run for Gallade:
Gallade @ Leftovers
Adamant: 216 hp, 38 atk, 176 def, 80 speed

Thunder wave
Bulk Up/Swords Dance
Close Combat
Shadow Sneak

You get to use Thunder wave to cripple their switch in or whatever pokemon they have out, then you set up with Bulk Up or Swords Dance to get huge. The difference between Swords Dance and Bulk Up is that bulk up increases your defense while Swords Dance increases your attack faster. Close Combat seems counter productive with Bulk Up, but it's power is so huge it is more or less worth it. Shadow Sneak is priority and with Close Combat, you get perfect coverage (I think).

Well, my Gallade has a Calm nature, and I've decided to go with Psychic, Psycho Cut, Focus Blast (Which may be replaced with Close Combat after leveling him up), and Night Slash. What EVs do you recommend?

Psychic and Psycho Cut isn't necessarily that great of an idea together. If your running a moveset of full of attacks, then you might as well get the most type coverage you can and leave the possiblity to benefit from a single Choice item in the event you want to run one for extra hitting power:

~ Psycho Cut
~ Night Slash / Stone Edge
~ Close Combat
~ Ice Punch

Ice punch sounds good. What EVs are recommended, though? I know Attack is one now, and I'll probably boost speed some, but are there any other stats you guys would recommend?

Usually 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP is pretty standard for sweepers, but was there any particular reason why your Gallade has a Calm nature? Because such a nature is a hinderance to the Attack stat.

I'd like an opinion for a Rapidash, if you don't mind

Double Status 'Dash set, which is pretty straight forward. Cripples physical sweepers or slows down walls holding leftovers with WoW and sleeps any possible counters.

Rapidash @ Leftovers or Life Orb
EVs: 6 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
~ Flare Blitz
~ Megahorn
~ Hypnosis
~ Will-o-wisp

Or Agility Pass Dash set, which is meant to put any of it's counters to sleep to buy you time to use Agility and pass the speed boost onto one of your team's sweepers. Of course, this set is only available to those who have access to the Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness for the Gamecube.

Rapidash @ Leftovers
EVs: 6 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
~ Flare Blitz
~ Agility
~ Baton Pass
~ Hypnosis
