Layna closed her eyes for a brief moment, sighing heavily. "You don't realize how happy you make me..." She trailed off, her expression confused. Her cheeks flushed pale. "Oh..." She murmured, pain flashing through her. She let out a soft groan, barely audible. Her eyes were questioning, wondering where these sudden pains were coming from.

eon looked oddly at her, "What's the matter, Layna? Something wrong?" Ceon lifted her head with two of his fingers under her chin and looked deep into her eyes.

"Hurts..." Layna groaned. Her hands fell to her stomach, pains shooting through it. It felt like someone was thumping her heavily between the ribs. It was only then, that she felt a flood of wet down her legs. She groaned again. "Please...I want to sit down..." She whispered, her knees shaking.

Ceon held her by the shoulders and sat her down on the couch, "Layna, is it time? Is the baby coming?" Ceon was excited and worried at the same time. Layna seemed to be in so much pain.

"No...no..." She managed to breathe through another stabbing pain. She leaned her head against the back of the couch, and looked up at the ceiling as she calmed her heart rate. The hand she placed upon her stomach was monitoring the movement. There was not enough for labor, not yet at least. "Too early, Ceon..." She whispered.

Ceon let out a large sigh of relief as he sat down next to Layna and wiped his head, "Phew, you had me scared for a sec." Ceon placed his hands on top of Layna's, there was definitely a growth of movement.

Ceon13 "Nah, keep it, I have enough to remember him by," said Ceon as he lifted his chin to show a long slit along his throat.He also lifted his shirt ti show two large scars on his chest. And no,I'mfine. It's just been a while since everyone was in that aprtment. You, me, Jacque, and Jaden."
Sibyl shrugged, deciding to keep Ceon’s attainted vial of Daiguren’s blood in the scenario that she somehow forgot the Tainted’s scent though that was next to impossible. She boasted being a very skilled tracker and trackers that were as skilled as her did not easily forget a scent that they’d just gotten a whiff of to go off and hunt or track whatever or whoever it was that was searching for them. “Get some rest, Ceon. You’re hurt and should get some rest. You can rest easy because you’re safe here and I’ll be hunting that Tainted threat as you sleep and he won’t get past me to you or your family, I’d never allow that. I’ll go talk to Jaden for you as well if that’s something you’re wanting done but if you're not needing to talk to him then I suppose I'll get going..”
With that she placed her smoked backpack on her back, slipping the vial into one of the colourfully beaded pockets and began heading toward the door. The pack was an elk-skin hide that smelled absolutely wonderful with the robust spicy and smoked scent that it possessed. The smell reminded her of home and it comforted her and reminded her what her family’s traditions were. After slipping the vial into her backpack she looked back over to Ceon, tilting her head as she asked her question as was typical of a wolf like her. “Are you needing anything else? I can get you some supplies or something if you’re needing them, Ceon.”

Layna sighed, closing her eyes. "I'm sorry I ignored, ma'am..." She apologized quickly. She felt sorry for not acknowledging the woman earlier. She winced, growling. "You wily little dog, you're not even born, and you have to move so much...?" She whispered.

Ceon looked up at Sibyl from Layna, "Actually, if you know how to heal or anything, Layna and I could really use your help here. The baby is due very soon, and we could use the extra help."

"I could do extra help as in maybe stick around and help by cleaning up the house but other than a few remedies that I know because of my culture, I don't know squat. I'm unable to help deliver a baby, though that's because in my pack it was survival of the fittest and if the mother did not make it then that was how it was meant to be. If you're needing someone to wipe up blood and stuff, I can do that. Or I can attempt to try helping out by helping pull the baby out but I'm definitely not a healer or doctor." Sibyl was anything but a doctor, really she was more of a geek that loved electronics as well as hunting and tracking things down.

Ceon nodded, "Yeah, anything that you can help us with, please do. Trust me, you haven't seen her when she's in pain. It's hard for even me to deal with."

"Then I'm probably perfect for the job since I'm hard to digust and I'm definitely not disturbed all that much by other's pain. At least not to the point I cannot do anything for them because it upsets me so much." She then paused to think of what else she was needing to ask before she left of perhaps didn't leave depending on what Ceon meant by soon. "So do I have enough time to go out and toast a Tainted or is your child expected at any moment and you want me to stick around for preparation?"

Layna growled softly; she knew she didn't need any help. "You do realize what my occupation within the pack is, right? I am a healer." She said quietly. The pains were ebbing now, but she knew they were not over. "Please understand. Even though I have not birthed a child before, it is natural- I would presume- for a mother to deal with it..."

"Layna, everybody needs help at one point in there life or another. Like me, whn Daiguren slit my throat." Ceon sighed, Layna's stubborness was actually beginning to urk him.

Layna was going to snap at him, but she closed her mouth, and looked back at the ceiling, trying to steady her breath. "Ceon...I'm sorry..." She murmured, her face relaxed. She whimpered inaudibly, shivers raising goosebumps on her arms. She clenched her hands against the arm of the chair; the only sign that the contractions were beginning.
