Sai opened her mouth to say something but was quickly muffled, getting hit with a snowball, she just glared at him. "Cheap shot..." She spoke, now standing up, brushing herself off.

"Um....guys?"Demy sat on the sidelines, watching them still. "Sai, did you say something about a hotel...?"

Kaleb would have disagreed with Sai on that last point, but at least the situation had gotten rid of the stressed note in her voice. He was a little nervous himself though, these two were essentially strangers, and he wasn't sure if his portal spell was strong enough to get himself home from this distance away.

"Yeah..." There was a sad tone to her voice now, she was having fun for once. "There's one just up ahead, you paid for dinner, I'll take care of this, ok?" Then she looked at Kaleb. "If you want I can get you a room to yourself, but that'd be all I could afford on my credit card before I max it out, plus I'm already in debt as it is."

"I can help pay Sai, dinner and a hotel are way different prices, ya know?"Demy swished his tail, giving the female an actual -concerned- look. He didn't like to think about it, but he was in the same financial situation she was. "Just let me help, kay?"

Kaleb shook his head a bit. "I-if a hotel room is the best option, it would be less expensive to share one if we all pitched in some." Being all too familiar with a tight budget, he would have no real objections to sharing a room. Although he was inwardly wishing he had a chance to practice that portal spell some more.

Staring at her compainions she sighed, she really didn't want to touble them, but she did have a budget. "I guess I can't really argue with that then, can I?" Taking a good look at her surroundings she made a guess about the distances. "Well we are about four blocks from my car now, and maybe about a block and a half away from the hotel, it would probably be easier to just walk to the hotel and stay until the snow calms down and melts away and then we can get back to my car and I can bring you both back to your respective houses. Sound alright?"

Kaleb followed with a nod, even if he wasn't quite as enthusiastic about the idea, it was probably the best option. He was a little nervous about it though, sharing a hotel room with a couple strangers.

Sai was confused at Demy's quickness now, he seemed eager to get to the hotel for some reason. She couldn't quite place it, the situation had stressed her mind enough to not make the obvious connection. She quickly followed along with the other two.

Demy bounced along in front of them, happily leading the way to the hotel. As soon as they arrived, the youth attempted to tug them both inside the lobby. "Cmoooon!"

Kaleb followed easy enough, although he stumbled a bit as he was pulled at. "H-how did you guys want to handle paying for this?" He asked, it was likely the best option would be to have someone pay, and then the other two pay them back sometime.

Stumbling along with Kaleb as she was tugged by Demy she let out a light yelp. "Easy Demy, you're going to make us fall!" Regaining her composure she brushed herself off a bit and then looked to the other two. "I'm up for anything you two would like to do. The less complicated the better..."

"Sorry, sorry...sheesh! Anyways, whatever you guys wanna do...."Demy released them, the youth turning to poke at Sai a bit. The whole time his tail was wagging happily behind him. Apparently the guitarist was really excited about the idea of spending the night with his two new friends.

Kaleb couldn't help but smile, admiring the way Demy could look so eager and enthusiastic even in such an awkward situation. He had no way of knowing that the situation probably wasn't half as awkward for the musician, but that wasn't the point.
He glanced over at the two of them, and then pulled his wallet out of his pocket. "I-I can pay for the room, and then you guys can write me a cheque or pay me back later once we figure out how much it is." With that the mage walked over to the front desk to get a room, at one point frowning slightly and setting a driver's licence on the desk to confirm his age. But soon he had two keys in hand, and went to rejoin Demy and Sai.
