"Dream!" Linnea giggled and put out her hand, the empty one.
DS grinned. So perhaps her shy fae did have a friend after all. "And hello to you too," she greeted him, bending down to be on the right level. "What might your name be? Unless it is Dream, that is..."

Shin blushed as much as a tree could at Linnea's giggle, reaching his own hand towards Linnea. However he halted it as her mother bent down before him.
"I'm Shin Daiko." He said shyly. "This is Dream." He showed DS the flute his Aunt had made him, blowing a small tune into the beautifully crafted instrument. "But she can call me Dream if she likes. I don't mind." She shuffled his feet a bit, feeling akward with the two girls.

"And a fine name that is, Shin Daiko. It's a pleasure to meet you." DS extended one hand, touching the wood fae's outstretched one. "My name is DS, and it looks like you've already met Linnea."
For her part, Linnea was somewhat stunned. Dream wasn't his name? Then she'd been calling him by the wrong name the whole time! "Sorry," she yelped, bowing sharply. Her fins reached around her, perhaps in an attempt to shield her from embarrasment.

Shin looked at Linnea, bending down so his head was almost upside down.
"No, it's ok. I like being called Dream. I don't mind." He took her hands, standing her up straight. "My Papa and Aunt call me Little One, and I don't mind. You can call me Dream..." He paused, fidgeting akwardly. "I like it when you do." He dared to look up at Linnea, hoping she felt a bit better.

If he liked it, that was something else entirely. Fins pulling away, Linnea looked up again. "Okay... Dream." A hint of a smile winked at the boy, all she dared.
Suddenly the third wheel, DS stood up and brushed her hands against eachother. "Hm, do I smell stew? I think so..."
The pot was quickly located, but innkeepers weren't as obvious. "Excuse me madam, but are we allowed to help ourselves? I wouldn't want to take what isn't mine." She addressed a young woman with a purple fae on her lap, to whom she gave a small wave.

Faevan looked up, noticing that she was being spoken to.
"Mr. Cordain isn't in shop, and I can't seem to find the Inn's maid either. Their Fae children are also absent. The stew is behind the counter." She pointed, and realized she was ebing a bit cold. She readjusted Sylvia, standing and bowing slightly. "Forgive me my rudness, it's been a long few days." She straightened up. "I think it's safe enought to help yourself, I'm planning on leaving my payment on the counter when I depart."
Sylvia wiggles a bit, and Faevan sat back down, settling the baby on her lap and occupying her attention with the stew once again.
It's good stew, you should have some!" Shin said, smiling back at Linnea, and then looking at her Mother. "You too. Come sit with us!"
((Ok, enough for me tonight. See you tomorrow.))

"I certainly know what you mean," DS replied amiably as she found a pair of bowls. "Times like these are enough to try everyone's patience. My, how do you keep up with two young ones at once?"
Linnea looked over to the table. There were more people there, but one was her mother, and the other she knew from before. As for the third... when she squinted her blue eyes, the child reminded her of a doll her mother had given to someone else. That was enough to push her forwards, so if nothing else, she could see if there was a resemblance or not.

"Two?" Faevan looked at DS oddly. "Oh, Sylvia isn't my daughter. She's the daughter of Dio, the goatherd. She was just born today. Shin is also his son, but came into my care when he fell ill." Faevan nodded. She didn't see herself as the child raising type, at least, not anymore. Those things were past her now. As for trying times, she decided it was best to hold her tongue on her opinions regarding that particular matter. She instead busied her attention with Linnea, who was watching Sylvia curiously. Fae remembered the watery child. She was quiet and pleasing, which had to say something about the woman who cared for her. "This is Sylvia." She made a quiet introduction between the two children.

Carol smiled as the conversation between the people and creatures carried on and quitly got up from the table and moved over to the counter where feavan had poured the extra bowl for her. She picked it up and blew off some steam and took a small sip, grinning widely, then took her seat once again. A soft "thanks" was muttered for she didnt want to interupt but felt it was needed to be said.
She looked at all three of the children carefully; cocking her head to the side. She thought this was the woman with the wood child...but he was different now. She kept her thoughts to herself and she took another sip. Man it was good to have something to eat

Cordain entered back into the inn while drying his hands off in the process, "Ahh...er..." he looked around and waved to Faevan, "I hope you liked the stew, sorry about the delay and absence of service...I was kind of...um..." he cleared his throat and moved over to put more wood in the stove to warm the stew back up.
Nekura finally returned to the inn and glared at Faevan, "Stupid humans weren't home" he stated in an annoyed tone to Cordain.
Cordain blinked once and nodded his head, "Yea, they came here already, don't worry about it Nekura, go on upstairs and take a bath then you can go to bed or visit with Faevan's son Shin Daiko if they are still here. You have your first day of school tomorrow." he stated in a calm tone.
Nekura gave Cordain a faint nod, still tired from their training earlier. He made his way up the stairs and to the bathroom, which was already filled and ready for him. Nekura promptly stripped and began bathing himself, still with his mask on.

Faevan nodded at Cordain, choosing to keep her silence. Nekura, however, caused her to narrow her eyes, and she was glad the child opted to stay away form Shin and Sylvia. But what was this mention of school.
"School? Since when does Astora have a school?" Faevan looked at Cordain, curious as to this new development.
"What's school?" Shin asked, looking up at his Aunt.

"Be careful now," Mr. Schmidt instructed as he gingerly passed the satchel into Momo's hands. "Don't respond to strangers. If you're in trouble, call for help."
"I'll do good," Momo reasurred as she slipped the strap over her shoulder and let the small bag rest at her waist.
"Now the woman you're look for should be staying at the inn," Mr. Schmidt continued. "You have the instructions I wrote, correct? Yes. We trust you can help with this simple task. Hurry along before Lady Chiaku returns."
After carefully folding the instructions and placing them in her pocket, Momo dashed to the inn. She had slept half of the day, feeling well rested although her limbs were still exhausted from the previous night's events. When she arrived at the inn, she entered and looked around. It looked as though most of the visitors had gathered in the common room.
Among the people gathered there were some other fae children she had seen last night.
"Excuse me," she greeted shyly as she appraoched the group.

Carol looked up at the child from her stew bowl and waved slightly before returning to her stew. She gulped down some more. It seemed that lots of people were at the inn today. She smiled after her gulp and placed down the bowl.
"Hi there" Carol spoke while bringing her hands to her lap and fiddling boredly with her skirt in her hands. She was bored but she wasnt sure what to do with herself. Sai said shed be back but she hadnt come back. She tried to keep her thoughts away from what the golden child had said. What if they woman wasnt ok? She turned her attention back to the girl in front of her and noticed she to was one of those creatures. She sighed. She was starting to feel left out! Was she the only person who didnt have wings or spikes?! No, because there seemed to be humans here as well. So what were these children? These children that had run from the village. "Hows it going?" she asked after coming back to the real world instead of ehr thoughts.

While she waited awkwardly for a response, Momo realized that another woman in the inn was speaking to her. She peered at the woman's face, then took the little paper with instructions from her pocket and read them carefully. Again she studied the woman's face, then her hair, her clothing...
"Excuse me, ma'am," Momo said politely, "but do you know who where I could find Ms. Carol Nawali?"

Carol looked a slight taken back But nodded meekly. "Y-yes... I am her" she spoke a tad uncertain of how the girl knew her name. "Can I help you?" she asked her voice calming down a bit. Perhaps the people she had met before told the child. She smiled a warm smile. She looked at the child carefully before looking away. " I love yer hair" she spoke after awhile trying to calm her own nerves. She looked at the child once more, now confident that she could talk without freaking out.
