She was disguised as s boy, she looked at him for a second, then his guests then left soundlessly and went to her room. SHe kept her diguise on since she would be doing her excercises. It didn't take her long to find the training room, "Weight." she murmered and she did her excercises with the weighted sword. Soon she was sweating. She put her weapon away and did stretches, letting her body cool down.

Chaos sat at the inn for a few days going out from time to time to scout the manor. Tommorow he thought to himself. He nodded and walked back to his room to prepare his things and then to wait and prepare himself. He would need readiness to do this task.

((Now suddenly I want to fight someone... I have to come up with something...))
Yumi was bored, very bored. She didn't find killing people interesting, not as interesting as she had remembered it to be. None of the 17 people she had killed during the last few days had even put up any resistance, they hadn't even been carrying a sword. Not carrying swords was stupid, it was foolish, which made Yumi even more irritated when she didn't even find a single sword in one of the houses she had "visited". Yes, she had been so bored that she actually looked through the house trying to find a sword. Now she needed a real challenge, a real fight, a real war. Slowly an insane thought started growing in her head. At the end of the day, she had already forgotten how insane the whole idea was. The thought made her smile, even giggle... although there really was nothing even close to funny about her small plot.

Chaos now left the inn his weapons at his sides. He moved quickly without sound to the manor. He walked up slowly and a guard asked for his ID. He nodded and went down like he was to search for it but the guard never spoke again as the blade came out and he fell. Chaos went inside quickly and left the guard out in the cold. He moved around the manor slaughtering the guards without a sound except them hitting the ground. Chaos went into the differing rooms and finally found Takogato...He was standing at a window a weapon at his side and guards all around. Chaos entered without need to hide himself. He stood there his weapons sheathed and watching them all.
"So you are here...Hikage Konton...Chaos...Chaos of Shadows...whatever you call yourself now...I knew you would come one day...and I knew this was where you would die...goodbye Chaos..kill him" The bodyguards charged and fell as Chaos simply leapt forward his blades slinging out and striking expertly yet chaotically. He landed as they did...but he was still alive. He stood on the other side of the desk looking at Takogato. "Will you die peacefully or fight me?" The larger man was shaking just slightly. He didn't want to die...that was obvious. Chaos put his hands on his blades ready to draw them to kill this man.

((lol, good!))
Lotus sat on the floor. She hadn't recieved another assignment in awhile and she had heard nothing from Chaos. This didnt' worry her, persay but it was starting irritate her...actually she didn't know what emotion she was feeling. There was an odd ache in her chest, the feeling of craving something that was out of reach. She stared at her lap miserably but then she heard and felt his heart beat speed up a bit, like usual, his heartbeat never sped up markedly but she had trained herself to sense the smallest adjustment of speed. She closed her eyes adn tracked it, taking a deep breath and letting it out completely she was suddenly seeing another man standing by a window, sword in hand, stinking of fear, Um....Chaos?

She would be looking through Chaos' own eyes. She hadn't seen him recently so she would see the charge forward and two slashs of metal move without sound. The man raised his blade...the only way he could really defend...but it didn't work. The blades sliced through it and then through him fully. They cascaded back down his body the blood, amazingly not flooding from his body. He dies with the first slice. The blades cut him up throughly and then the man falls to pieces on the ground. All of the 100 slices that were incurred upon his body happened within about the interval of 5 seconds. He breathed slowly...seemingly to be hardly agitated. The blades returned to his sheaths as he walked to the window slowly and then stopped. He turned and walked back over and using the important man's blood writes on the table. "I kill those whom are traitors..." He set the blood into a woman's name to sign it...the name was Yumi. He turned and walked to the door again and opened it leaping out toward the ground. He rolled onto a roof to make no noise as he then left the area. He didn't go back to the inn. He instead started to make his way back home...back to where he took his orders from. His voice reached Lotus' ears though suddenly as she sat there. Now Lotus...what was it that you wished?...and I would ask you don't disrupt me in battle again...it wouldn't be the smartest of ideas to make sure I live. He walks slowly his hands on the weapons at each side as he moves slowly.

After Chaos had left the information about the death of the high ranked member spread like fire. It was not because of his high position in the Shinsengumi, neither because he was a pretty rich man, but because of the amount of people he worked with. He had connections everywhere and many lost a very valuable link with the Shinsengumi. But there was also something else that made this death more interesting than other deaths, one word, one name... Yumi.
Yumi, that was the word whispered everywhere, and many opinions were created. Why would an assassin be as stupid as to write their real name on the table? Of course most people beleived the name to be false. But still, subconsciously, when someone presented themselves as Yumi, the first question everyone silently asked was: Are you that Yumi?
Yumi walked down the street, happily unaware of the death and the message. But she still had her plan, which now had developed into a wicked obsession. The only problem was, she didn't know how to start. What could she use to light the fire?

Chaos continues walking in silence for a while before answering. Yumi is an assasain of the Shensengumi...or at least in affiliation with them...someone...I have to deal with... He keeps his eyes ahead as he walks slowly his weapons swinging slightly at his side. He would probably make it back to the castle in plenty of time for rest.
Yoshimitsu was astounded at the flood he got in about Chaos' last hit...it was amazing and it seemed many people were fearing that the Shensengumi may actually be on the losing side if such a networked man was killed...was anyone safe were their thoughts. He smiled and was in glee with the amount of publicity it was getting. None knew that The Meiji had done it...in fact it seemed that Yumi might be the one...whoever Yumi was to Chaos that was fine...as long as his job was accomplished.

So...what was the point of putting her name there, she didn't kill that man, you did. Lotus found herself content to talke with Chaos this way, she felt like she was being carried in a sling, it was an odd homely sensation that made her metaphysical self smile lazily.

Chaos didn't answer for a while again...as if thinking about his answer. To let her know someone is out there...someone that will wait to attack her. His golden eyes stare ahead in thought. They hadn't died down in a while...they just...stared in wait to reach his residence...not his home though...he had no home after all.

Chaos listens to her as he sees the city on the horizon. Patience comes to those who wait...just as humility is taught by weakness and strength...don't dismiss it...if you wait though I'll be going to my room in a bit...Until we speak again... He entered the city with a straw hat over his face moving quickly as he went through the crowds and toward the manor of Yoshimitsu.

Lotus sighed again in his mind, Okay....She withdrew from his mind and came back into hers with a shiver. She was covered in ice. It hung off her hair, her nose and chin and frost coated her clothes. She slood and shook herself and went to take a warm bath.
