Then if you still want to do free ones for friends, you can, but you can also get paid by people you don't know. Anyways. I just joined this guild, new to Gaia in general, yadda yadda yadda. Not much else to say, is there? If you want to read some short stories, I implore you to visit my writing thread and comment there. Comments on how I'm doing are hard to come by, as few people on Gaia--even in the literary section, where you think they would be common--seem to want to read an entire short story and comment on it.

You'll eventually get used to the unwritten rules.

I could see that in one of the group critique threads I posted in, where my story promplty got overlooked by a bunch of joking friends. I don't begrudge them their camraderie at all, don't get me wrong. I understand. It is 'cause I'm new. I'll just have to wait a while. Had to do it a Bob and George as well. *shrugs* I'm blessed with patience for things like that, so I'm good. Didn't feel it hurt to ask here, though. *grin*
