Ky looked at Kurai. He had definitely matured. At least he was using his head now. But there were other cards waiting to be played. If Kurai thought he knew everything about the katars, he would pay dearly.

For the time being, however, Ky chose to keep his friend in the dark. The trump card must be played at the opportune moment to be effective. Ky began circling his opponent, both katars held loosely at his side. Kurai was holding a defensive stance so there was no need to worry about him attacking. The fatal flaw of all defensive stances, no matter how strong, was that they prevented one from attacking. Ky had all the time he needed to figure out a way to penetrate it. As it were, 10 seconds was all he needed.

"All right Kurai. If you're so high and mighty now, let's see what you can do."

With lightning speed, Ky charged at Kurai. From the looks of the stance, Kurai would probably try to use his sword to block any initial attack Ky would make, then come in quickly with that left hand of his for a counterattack. But that wouldn't happen. Just before he came within range of Kurai's sword, Ky planted both feet firmly into the ground and skidded to a dead stop, kicking up an enormous wave of sand in Kurai's face in the process. With the wall of sand momentarily blocking the two's view of each other, Ky immediately dashed to the right, hoping to seemingly disappear for just long enough to attack.

Kurai concentrated on gripping his sword tightly ready to deflect any attack from the Katars. Once Ky exploded twoards Kurai, he quickly focused his mind and tensed up his muscles. this was a bad mistake cause it prevented Kurai from moving. To Kurai's suprise no attack was thrown at him but instead a large dust cloud was kicked up.

"ahh i see.." Kurai said nervously looking about him. "trying to sneak up on me huh.. lil ninja.." Kurai frowned angrily. "that wont work!" Kurai yelled angrily. He then lifted up his sword let out a mighty yell and did a massive full 360 swing with the flame Sword. The Flame sword let out a large wave of flames about him, this motion Brushed the dust away from his area. Kurai then struggled to stop his sword from the wild circular motion. his body stumbled forward a bit as the blade skidded to a stop in the sand .

"now where are you.." Kurai looked about wildly. "Come on Out you wimp!"

Sladgen wakes up, he had obviously dozed off for a week or so. He wakes up to the sound of fighting, he got up and went over to see what it was. To his amazement it was the leader and somebody he didn't know, according to his code he either had to break up the fight or kill the leaders opponent. He runs over to the area they were fighting at and draws his only weapon other than his dual magnums that are in their holsters at all times but they both currently only have one clip of 29 rounds. He was going to use those last, if he had to, the weapon he drew is his katana. He reaches the beach areana and jumps in front of Kurai, trying to help him fight. His senses are at their highest, he's ready for anything.

"Okay, what's the deal here?"

Tiffany couldnt take it anymore. She was about to run inbetween the two to stop the battle, but was intefered by Kiyowa.

"Stop!What are you doing"
"I have to stop them"
"Tiffany, tell me, whats Majin rule #6"

Tiffany tilted her head, that her hair was in the way of her eyes.

"Battles between rivals are to be respected and never interfered by outsiders....even if the outcome will come to death...."
"Correct"
"But..."
"Tiffany, despite your hating the Majin race, you have never broke a Majin rule, including to this day....why start now"
"I....."

Tiffany stopped and held on to Kiyowa.

"Just tell me who wins in the end...ok"

Wind and metal struck flame. As Ky drilled into Kurai's sword, trying to break his defense, the flames were whipped about by the vortex Ky had created. The flames, carried by the wind, surrounded Ky, turning his miniature tornado into a flowery bloom of fire. The flames inched closer and closer into the vortex, eating up the oxygen hungrily. A couple of the flames began licking at Ky's cloak.

And then, from the dizzying blur of his vision, Ky caught something else move into the field of battle. At that same instant, he felt the sword give way. This was it. The defense was broken. Now was the perfect opportunity to inflict the killing blow.

Instead, Ky lowered the katars to his side, kicking off Kurai's chest to avoid falling head first into the sand. Somersaulting through the air, Ky landed in a crouch, skidding backwards a short distance on the loose sand. He was gasping for air, the low pressure vacuum combined with the flames had all but taken all of the oxygen out of his vortex. He glared angrily at the man who had interfered. If Ky was going to kill Kurai, he was going to do it alone. Slowly standing up, Ky retracted the katars and began walking away.

"Come to Arena and we'll finish this."

Ky didn't even turn his head as he brushed past a distressed looking Tiffany. Crys, without saying a word, fell in step behind him.

(( ::sigh:: your post was Nullified cause it violated the rule of Rping as another person's character without consent. I first IMed Ky to see if he agreed to have his character be caught by your katana's and then thrown to the ground. He Claimed that did not. therefore you are Powerplaying. Powerplaying is against the rules here In Ria High. I made my character Fail to block Ky's attack cause that is my idea and my own character.

Kurai felt the sudden unbalance in his body as the heat of the battle clouded his judgement. he felt the sudden change once his sword gave away, causing Kurai to stumble forward. giving Ky the perfect Kick onto his chest. Once the Kick connected Kurai was thrown backwards into the sand. The Grains of the sand ripped against Kurai's clothing, his sword dissepeared once it was removed from his hand Flickering into 4 simple flames evaporating into the sky. His hood then toppled over onto his head covering up his face. Kurai groaned as he slowly sat up straight grabbing his chest.

"damn.. that didnt feel too good.." Kurai muttered. he was however curious why Ky didnt finish him off. he didnt kill me.. but that murderious aura around him.. does that mean..

"Oh.. i see.. You just want a better battlefield huh? well i guess i have to agree that the beach and the innocent people around here.. shouldnt get involved in our battle.." Kurai smirked. he then whipped the hood off his head and wiped the sand off his face.

"and i think i need to look into Katars a lil more.. apparently there is somre more i need to figure out.." Kurai said as he watched Ky walk away. he let out a sorta sigh of relief.

maybe he didnt kill rene..

((didn't make a proper exit but Kurai has left for Ria High again to the Libary))

((To Kurai: oh I see how it is, just leave Ky standing around waiting in the arena while you hole yourself in a little corner of the library surrounded by big thick volumes of books why don't you. BAH! j/k j/k. Go do your research. Dork. blaugh ))
