oO I'm amazed that topic doesn't hit the recycle bin with as many times as it gets posted in a day.

*sighs* I miss Teen Smackers.
Although eventually I need to work on my "Childhaters" thread idea. I'll make sure that b*****d gets posted to 320498230 times in ED and never dies like the other threads that are pointless.

Can't. Stand. Uninformed. Asshats.
Gah, I had to respond.
I love how they just throw around how easy it is to pump yadda yadda. Just goes to show how naieve they are and how they don't know a damn thing about breast feeding anyway.

xd Well, they keep talking about these stripper wannabee mothers and I have yet to ever see one. I'm convinced none of those kids have ever seen a breastfeeding mother in their lives.

Yeah right Manda, I mean the only time I ever notice a breast feeding mom is because she's covered up by a blanket.

Quote: First and foremost, a baby is NOT an IT! A baby is a human being the same as you were when you were a baby and how you are now. Second of all, the condenscending remark about breast pumps...have you ever bought one? Did you know that some assembly is required and that the bottles must be sterilized? Make a jerking motion with your hand...do that for about 30-40 minutes nonstop. Wallah! You have just managed to fill a 6-8oz. bottle by pumping. Not everyone can use one, nor is every woman's body the same. Formula? Believe it or not, there is this one chemical in formula that all of them have (really long name, can't remember) that a fraction of babies are allegic to. As for the whole schedule thing. Do me a favor, make a schedule...PM it to me and then video tape yourself. Did you follow the schedule? If you did, congradulations, you are a robot. Sorry, I have been reading through this thread and some of the comments here really do require a well-thought out sarcastic answer. Hello, my name is Michelle and I just recently joined this guild. I read through the threads you posted in this one and had to reply. There is my answer to the whole-breasting feeding thing. I BF my son for three months, but he wasn't gaining enough weight so they put him on the bottle. I BF my daughter until she was almost ten months, and in public! I tell you what, I always had her nursing blanket with me and I was never flashy about BFing her. If anyone stared, that was there problem not mine. Hopes this post is okay here.

Neko girl Manda :/ Based on their responses, most of them haven't seen that many people BF either: I have yet to see a breast when I've noticed women feeding their babies and from what I've seen, they try to be as discreet as possible.
Saying that they should have to go to the bathroom is what bothered me most and I wish more places had a room like you described Gentle. Someone else in that thread lived in an area with them too. The mall near my house is fantastic it has a "family restroom" it has this outer room with a recliners for mothers, and then a little bathroom offset with a changing table and two toilets a small one and a regualr one.

Someone posted in one of the threads in LI saying pre-c** has no sperm in it because her step-dad is a doctor and told her so. She also said she's been with her bf for 4 years, and nothing's happened... and that schools tell kids that pre-c** has sperm in it so it will discourage them from having sex.
Here's her post (name withheld):
"My stepdad is a doctor and told my boyfriend and I that precum has absolutley no sperm in it whatsoever. He said that in class, the teacher told the students that precum doesn't have sperm in it, but it is best to tell kids that it does, so they don't have unprotected sex with a partner that doesn't know his body well, and risk pregnancy ( and not to mention diseases)
My boyfriend and I have been together for almost four years now, and not once have I gotten pregnant from him. So rar. smile
There is information backing me up on this if you search it, also. Something about precum coming from the prostate gland, and never having a chance to actually mix with the sperm."
I don't know if she's right or not, but her post just irritated me, so pardon my venting. I've never heard a doctor say that pre-c** has no sperm in it. In my reply post to her post, I told her I'd been with my ex for almost 2 and a half years, and I hadn't gotten pregnant either. So just because she hadn't gotten pregnant didn't mean that there was no sperm in pre-c**. I also said that if a girl and a guy have sex, but he doesn't ejaculate in her, and she still ends up pregnant somehow, what would that demonstrate?
Again if I'm wrong you can delete this post, and I'm sorry if I'm ignorant/uninformed about anything in this post. whee

I heard it did have sperm in it, but not a lot. Not that that changes anything. I became pregnant with our first child because we were fooling around a little and then put a condom on. So, I'm sorry, I'm pretty sure precum has sperm in it... stare Why else would the statistic say about 20% of people that use withdrawal get pregnant within the first year? Here's what I like to post when kids post ignorant stuff like this: Hey, before you post again, try consulting with these people first: Real Sex Education

Also, thank you Loki. I am really tired of people (mostly teenagers) without children being so judgemental towards parents and how they raise their kids. I've gotten so much (unwanted) advice from people that don't know squat about being a parent, it drives me insane. The worst thing was being pregnant with my first child and having random people come up and give you advice. I even had a guy give me crap for drinking a coke at a restaraunt while pregnant! stare Funny pic, forgot where I found it:
