RinoaHeartilly I agree, it is fun to learn new instruments after you're past your mouth being sore xd I'm constantly switching instruments with my clarinet friends and I'm trying to learn how to play the fight song. One time I saw my friend soaking her reed before she put it on and she like molested it with her tongue whee that was disgusting, and I'm willing to bet she did it just because I was there xd eek Your gym was FLOODED?! dang... thats gotta suck sad I don't have to take PE til next year and then I never have to take it again. Everytime we have a pep rally the guy with the mic always does these shout outs for every class. The freshman are always getting all the boos whee We did this weird thing at the pep rally today.. there was this race between two people where they had to spin a round a bat like 10 times then run across the gym and scarf down cake then run back xd I borrow my friend's oboe sometimes and play that. It's such a cool instrument... hard, though. And I think I played her alto once... back during freshman year, before I even started learning sax. xd She molested her reed? That's hilarious. I'm sure our bari player has probably done that at one point or another.... XDD Yeah, our gym was flooded. It was early August... the 6th, I think. It hadn't rained ALL summer and then one day it just POURED for about 10 minutes (seriously POURED... I took a walk in it and within two minutes, there was not a spot on me that was dry). And since it hadn't rained, the ground was dry, and so nothing got absorbed and it all just ran down the hill and puddled by the gym door and leaked in there. Took three months to dry it out. @_@ Our pep rallies are SO weird... our school officially has the most messed-up people in the district (I'm serious... we won a contest) so it's always SO much fun. We've had guys giving each other lap-dances and guys running around in dresses and teachers lip-synching... it's SO great. xd I can't wait until our first assembly....

She molested it gonk most likely so I wouldn't ask to borrow it? And I didn't xd I borrowed someone else's instead. Dang! 3 months?!? What did the PE class do? xd roflmao xd I wanna see one of your pep rallies! guys giving lap dances and crossdressers?!!?! thats GOTTA be loads of fun! xd

XDD The PE class went outside. Which, in Washington, sucks 'cause it rains so much. I didn't envy them at all. xd I'm in aerobics, and the aerobics room wasn't affected, so it wasn't a problem for me. 3nodding Aerobics > PE. Our pep rallies are SO much fun. I've been in tears from laughing too hard at them. xd I can't wait until we finally get to do them again... the poor little freshman have NO idea what they're getting into. *evil grin* Though I don't think ANYTHING could be as bad as lip-sync last year... a guy dressed up as Ariel from The Little Mermaid and sang and it was... frightening. To say the least. XDD

We had to go out and march today too since Whitmer is still in the playoffs and so we had to brush up on our marching skillz. xd I was just wearing a long-sleeved shirt under my band t-shirt and it was incredibly windy whee I don't think I've ever been in tears from laughing. But from the sound of your pep rallies I'm SO going to Washington (i wish xd ) Oh, wait... I'M A FRESHMAN! eek xd At the beginning of the year you could constantly hear the teachers shouting down the halls 'BE NICE TO THE FRESHMAN!' scream lol. sakdjgkfnvg. Ariel?!?! xd oh my friggin' gawd, that's gotta be funny as hell lol.

Yeah, it's pretty cold over here, too... and soon we have to start going outside and "marching" - we're going to be "marching" around the halls for homecoming, which is in a couple weeks. We don't actually march though... hence the quotations. xd We kinda just walk in an organized blob. But no one can really tell... so we're good. Haha, our school isn't actually that mean to freshman. Usually. XD They've just never been to a pep rally at our school before... and they have NO idea what it's like. I went to the middle school most of them came from... and their assemblies were BORING. x_x;; Hey... I get to sit with the saxes when we finally start our assemblies! Yay! As much as I love playing flute... most of the flute players at my school drive me crazy. Too many stereotypical ditzy people. It's sad. -_-;; Yes, Ariel. XDDD It was SO funny... and the guy was in my biology class, too, so everyone who had been there the night before gave him SO much crap. xd

Organized blob, eh? xd No one can tell?!?! xd lol keyword - Usually xd All of the other pep rallies i've went to before my HS were pretty boring. They never did anything all that fun. The cheerleaders would do something gay on the stage, and one year there was only 3 cheerleaders!! I was like omg ur kidding right? Last year they were multiplying like friggin' rabbits. Yeah, that sucks when some stereotypes are actually somewhat true whee especially when you're a part of that group. lol xd Did anyone get any pics of him as Ariel? that would be hilarious!just post it up on all the halls and doors in the building xd

And HE started it, anyway - he shoved me! But he's like the band's little brother; we pick on him and give him crap, but we love him anyway. *coughs* XD I WISH we'd gotten pictures! I didn't bring a camera though... though I'm sure SOMEONE did. XD This is part of the reason WHY I've started bringing a camera to school every day... just in case I need it. xp

We had two parades a few days ago. The first one was so bad it wasn't funny. Nobody new their part, so I had to tape my music to my arm, which worked for all of two seconds. The second one was a lot better. In fact, it was so much better, that some guy gave the band a check for $150 so we could have a party. Yay!!
If we go waaaay back to the subject of multiple people with the same name. Our drum majors are Kelly and Colin. We also have two freshman trumpets named Kelli and Collin. There's two flutes in symphonic band named Lindsey/Lindsay. Two flutes named Lauren (one is okay, but the other is EVIL!!!!!) And two guys named David. Once at a basketball game I was sitting next to David, and I turned to say something to him, but he had left, and in his place was the other David. Also, in my math class there're two Jackies and two Rebeccas. One day someone came in and said, "Can I see Jackie and Rebecca?" It was sad.
Our assemblies are generally all of the above minus the lap dances. For our homecoming assembly, each class had a lip-sync. This was the first year in history the seniors didn't win. The sophomores (my class) did, 'cause we had three guys go up and disco. It was hilarious. Last year they dressed as women and sang "Wide Open Spaces." We also once had some guys imitate Hanson, that was pretty funny.
On a sad note, this year really sucks. A few months back there was a car accident involving four boys from our school. Two now have brain damage. Then, this week, there were two suicides. And this is Ellensburg!! The land of the cows and hicks! Now everybody in the school (particularly the freshmen and junior classes) is depressed.

Well what the hell was he thinking! xd One time on the bus when we had to ride to the playoffs last week it took 2 and a half hours to get there and so it was pretty boring. Evan started crossdressing and everyone whipped out there cell phones and cameras xd afterwards he was like '...This does NOT leave the bus!' I wanna bring me digital camera only no1 knows where the card thingy is so i cant take the pics i already took off the memory card and save them to my comp whee it really sucks cuz' i LOVE taking pictures 3nodding

I feel sorry for them whee Our band so far has gotten $200. The Panther Brass by themselves got $100. I don't know how, but it was written on the board 'Thanks for this morning Panther Brass, we got a check for $100! We might have gotten more, but I don't think we did. Yeah, there's tons of people in band with the same name. I just noticed that there's also 3 Kristens in the band. It was funny cuz' during summer my friend Kristen was calling me everyday cuz' she said she would on the last day of school, and apparently she was serious xd so one day i was up in my room and my Dad says 'Sarah! Phone!' and so i come down the stairs and say 'It better not be Kristen' but i was jk, and i pick up the phone and hear 'Hi! I'm Kristen, your section leader for band.' and i was like eek O.M.G. what the hell were the chances that my section leaders name was gonna be Kristen??? xd

Two now have brain damage. Then, this week, there were two suicides. And this is Ellensburg!! The land of the cows and hicks! Now everybody in the school (particularly the freshmen and junior classes) is depressed. Heh, we had an impromptu parade a couple weeks ago when our team actually WON, and half the flutes didn't have lyres with them ('cause they didn't know we'd be "marching") and had to tape their music to their arms. This is why I heart sax cases... the lyres fit inside the cases, so I don't have to worry about forgetting it. Plus, flute lyres are pure ebil.... EBIL, I SAY! XD I don't think we have two many double names in band. There IS another Megan, though (she plays flute, too)... and we have three Matts, but one's in wind ensemble/jazz band, one's in orchestra/jazz band, and one's our BD's fiancee (no, he's not in high school still... he just visits a lot and everyone loves him XD). There's also two Jacksons on trumpet, but one's JaCKson and one JaXon... and we call Jaxon "Jaxon-son" to eliminate confusion. XD Our BD and our oboe player are both named Amy, but the oboe player spells it Amie. I think there's multiple Melissas, too. ...Okay, so there's more than I thought. You're in Ellensburg? You're not too far from me. I'm in Lynnwood. Sorry to hear that there's kids with brain damage and kids that committed suicide. That's HORRIBLE. >.< Apparently my mom's senior year there were a bunch of kids that died. I've never had anyone from my school die, and hopefully, no one ever will. That's gotta be hard. *hugs*
