Abortion rates are going down and as far as I know, so is Crime. To be a strike against us, it'd have to work in reverse: As abortion goes down crime goes up and vice versa. But don't quote me about the crime part.

Don't forget to take into account the age gap.

Say...

abortion rates 20 years ago would be affecting the crime rate now, if that's the case. What abortion rates are now compared to what crime rates are now is irrelevant unless people are comitting crimes from the cradle. Which would rock, but probably isn't happening.

I say, if you can't physically force a man to stick his p***s in your v****a and call "Rape!" then you can't physically force an embryo into your body and call "Violating my bodily integrity!" Embryos don't fly around looking for unsuspecting women to attack. Women and their partners directly cause them to be in the womb in the first place.

If it's okay, however, to directly cause a human being to violate your bodily integrity completely against that person's will and then kill that person for it...

I'm going to start grabbing penises of every guy I hate and killing them for raping me. Even if I'm the one causing the p***s to be in me.

COmparativly, crime rates are down, yes. But this is in correlation with the decrease of the entire population.

New studies now show that america is nere to what is known as Zero Population Growth. Were this sounds good for those who think the population needs to decrease as it is, its bad for most extreme liberals. Why? Because, as we enter further in to the state of ZPG, the majority of the people to actualy have children will be the conservative minded.

exactly. next time someone brushes up against me, say in a mall or something, i'm chopping off their arm. their arm has no right touching my body, and it is MY choice if i want to remove it, in any way i choose because it is MY body that person is touching and thus MY choice.

A horrible sickening thought came to me.

What if feminists don't argue against women being told abortion's the only option even if they don't want to do it...

because if there were other options, there would be no "need" for abortions and voters would be less likely to support it?

So basically...

They're willing to lead women to slaughter their own children even when they don't want to...because of freaking POLITICS. They're willing to let an entire group of women be oppressed because it furthers their political agenda to keep the "need" for abortion around.

So that's why their answer is, "Abort or fail," instead of, "We should work for another option."

Ahem.

I hate it when people say, "Lots of women abort because they can't afford pregnancy/ they'll lose their jobs/they'll lose their homes/they'll get kicked out of school," and then say, "I want this option open to them because I'm a feminist and without it, they'd lose their opportunities."

What.
The.
Hell.

So now feminism is about making it so women need to kill their offspring to fit into a man's world? Feminism is now about making it so we play by rules designed for men? It's about saying, "Oh, okay, schools can kick women out for getting pregnant." "Bosses can fire employees for being pregnant." "Men can kick their partners out for being pregnant."

EXCUSE ME?

Feminism is now about saying, Women are inferior to men and need to have a surgical procedure available to be their equals?

How about saying, "No, it is not fair to make a woman kill her child if she doesn't want to JUST to keep her job. Men don't have to do it. Women shouldn't either."

Oh no. No, no. Women don't deserve that apparently.

How about, "YOu can't kick women out of school for being pregnant. You don't kick men out of schools when they become fathers."

Not that either. Women don't deserve an education, they're damned lucky to be able to sit in the same classroom as men and if they get any inconvenient conditions like pregnancy, hell no they can't stay.

THIS IS WHAT FEMINISM IS ABOUT NOW? Freaking giving in and saying, "Women deserve only two options. Abortion or failure in life."

Wow. We really freaking care about our women.

QFA: Quoted For Awesomeness.

Wouldn't it benefit women more to make pregnancy easier, rather than just giving them a way out of it? It's like, well, we made abortion legal, so now if you don't choose it, all the stigma and hardship of raising a child is your fault. If you were really pro-CHOICE, you'd fix things so that women could choose to carry a fetus to term just as easily.

I found this quote in a book:

Quote:
The woman who has undergone an abortion is not althoughter safe from harm....Frequent abortions tend to cause barrenness and serious, painful pelvic ailment. These and other condictions arising from opertions are very likely to ruin a women's general health.

The quote was from Maragret Sanger the founder of Planned Parenthood in 1920. Times have changed.

Amazingly accurate? Oh sure, just because she's a vegan, her making accurate statements is surprising or amazing???? mad

...Yeah, it's 3 am, and I'm just a bit goofy right now. No idea where I'm going with that. Except that it's not meant to be taken seriously. In case anyone was confused.

I'll shut up and sleep now.

gonk Why must you pop my swelled head? sad I was going to dye my hair and enter a hot air balloon race!

I'm an ovo-vegetarian, btw, not a vegan. Eggs aren't chickens, just like ovulating isn't having an abortion.
