Her eyes looked at her and then she noticed the surronding sounds. Slowly, her eyes moved to look around her and her teeth clentched. Jumping back and recoiling, she looked about her, her head shooting about and her wings twitching. Finally, her sage eyes shot back to Sortha. "Ehh... Of course I'm in the bar!" She said, alittle to loudly and she gave a nervous laugh.

She flitched quickly and she looked about, seeing if anyone heard and then looked at her. "People? What people?! I think you had to much to drink. You should go and get some sleep!" She almost shouted, and once again ended with a laugh as she looked about to see if anyone bought it.

Sortha just looked at her. "Do you not know what just happened or do you not want to? Or is this just the wrong place for you to tell me?" Sortha said still not loud enough for any one other then her and Artemis to hear.

Her face cringed and she leaned down to her, pressing her finger to her lips. "SHHHH!!!" She hissed, looking about with a warey eye. "Are you trying to set this place on fire?!" She whispered harshly.

The large group of new comers looked nervous. "That lady needs a strong drink," one of the men commented. Of course, he probably also thought that she was pretty.

Artemis frowned, not in the mood for her to cry again and to get the sick aura of sorrow about her again. Wispering hard to break her self pity, Artemis kept her voice well below the radar for others to hear. "Oh don't go and do that. How about you tell me what I said,...and if anyone heard me." She insisted.

Sortha looked up and put the hood of her cloak down. "I cant tell you who heard because I was trying not to get touched by you. I have seen what happens when you touch people and thought it was for the best that you did not tuch me. Also you said lots of stuff at once like you where lots of people not just one." said sortha so only Artemis could hear. Sortha then looked around to see if people where looking at them.

Artemis sat down next to her, already feeling faint. Frowning, she glared at anyone who dared look their way. "So you couldn't even make out one sentence?" She asked, after which she retored. "The lock on my door is a peice of junk. Letting me get out like that." To which she crossed her arms, already feeling self concious about the plain dress she was in and her bare legs and feet.

"No all I could hear was one was a child's, one was a woman's, and one was an old man that had a slight slure then there were lots more. Oh and its fine im just glad nothing bad happened." Sortha said with a smile.

" Oh yes, yes. A child's. A woman's. The old man with the slure. A baby. A dog. and a river. A high pitched girl with a annoying laugh and a man with a rich accent. I'm surprised you didn't hear the older man with a stutter." She said, and then slid more into her seat, arms still crossed. "And you didn't hear a damn thing, along with me being downstairs. What a poor day this is turning out to be. I bet that Ren comes by by tea time." She huffed, and rised from her seat. " Tell me when the world ends. I have to see if my window is good as an escape route."

Sortha smiled again "ok will do oh and hey if that guy is after you becouse you are somthing most people dont see every day and one of a kind in a way then wont that meen he might come after me one day?"

She stopped and turned. It took a moment for her to think about it, but that was giving Ren too much credit. "Sooner or later........yes." She said, and went up the stairs, willing to pack soon and get on some better clothes.
