Personality: Rin is usually cold toward people who are lazy, weak, or mean to others. She acts grossed out about love, but she is, deep down, interested.Rin likes to learn about things she doesn't know, train, walk, and read books in her spare time. She does have a heart, but is only kind to well known friends. She may seem fearless, but Rin is actually afraid of thunder, and the dark. She is shy toward boys and can't talk to them, but in battle she will not show mercy to a willing apponent. A lot of people do not know this but Rin is actually also clumsy and not flexible. She is a gentle and polite, but a cold hearted girl. Also very independant. She is not one to start a conversation. A leader. She loves to wear kimonos and loves festivals. She seems invisible to everyone in her school except a few close friends. Sometimes she is mistreated badly. She loves to haunt and cast curses on people that have betrayed her in her past life. She loves to kill people slowly and painfully.

History: Rin works as an assassin or spy for both sides of good and bad. She has stolen countless information, and even from the government, but she has never been caught. What Rin's abition is, is to find her lost brother. When she was young, her brother had been kidnapped by hooded men and had taken him away. After one of the men picked him up, several others tortured and killed her other family members.The question was, why? She has trained in countless areas in martial arts (mostly swords) to help her body mature so she can defeat the kidnapper. Rin also wants to stretch her education skills. Unfortunately for Rin, her mother, father, and all family members except for one, have all died. Somtimes, this is what causes her misery. The death of her parents and family members still roam in her mind. She had forgotten all about her family. Even what they looked like or what their name was. When she was five, (1 year after her parents' death and her brother's kidnapping) an uncle adopted her. For a few years he fed her, gave her shelter, and even loved her. Of course Rin adored him back. But it was that one friday when a masked man had tried to kill Rin. Rin fought using her temperature rising skills and badly injured the man and he was almost dead. Rin unmasked the man to find it was her uncle. She had cried for days asking herself Why had he tried to kill me..? After the tragic, she decided it was up to her, to kill the murderer and kidnapper. She supported herself, even for a 11 year old, she was very independant. She went to a training camp on her own and trained for 3 and a half years. She killed herself because she thought no one cared for her and now she is a ghost and going to Ria. Rin no longer thinks love is necessary or for her. She is.. alone.. and not loved.. will she ever be?

Any battle skills/magical powers you have: I have the ability to to turn into a black cat, I am able to control my body temperature (can rise up to 1000 degrees without burning/injuring myself) Has eight invisible arms that kill at will

Character Looks: 5' 8" Green eyes, and white hair, He usually wears a green hoodie that he spray painted on with stencils, a studded collar, and black jeans. He keeps his wallet on a chain. He has a tendancy to glare at people for no reason.
Allignment: Neutral, but he can be swayed either way with the right persuasion.
Personality: He comes off as a little cold when first meeting someone, but if he likes them he'll warm up quickly. He's generally pretty laid back. If he dislikes you, he'll ignore you, even if you're talking to him. He'd rather keep his hood up and not look at people than interact, but there are times when he'll just go up and talk to people for no reason.
History: He was neglected and tormented by family ,in ways unimaginable to most, as a child. He was left by his family and friends in a box in an alleyway. After months of lonelyness a man called Roji found him and took him in. After some time had passed this man accidentally found out what Kayle was when he removed the collar put on him to restrain his transformation. He then enrolled him in Ria.

Name: Safira Skysong

Name Meaning/Nicknames: Safira means "like a sapphire." Occasionally in the past, friends have called her Saffie to be cute.

Gender: Female

Age: 15

Race: Human

Arts: Wind Manipulation, Archery

Character Looks: Safira has an average height (5'4" ish) and thin build, big blue eyes and long white hair which tends to be unruly. Her skin is fairly pale, though it does not burn easily. With a soft, feminine face, she is often described as beautiful.

Her normal clothing is a cute little sky-blue dress, worn with brown leather sandals (see picture for style of dress). If she knows she will be fighting, such as a sparring match, she wears a loose (to accomodate armor if necessary) sleeveless top, royal blue, with a black short-sleeved jacket and denim jeans that are baggy enough to allow her to move freely, as well as typical white sneakers. Her more formal dress is a royal blue kimono with a light blue sash. She always wears a silver necklace with a spiral pendant, and usually keeps her hair back with a headband.

Allignment: Safira is very friendly and can be a bit of a goody-two-shoes.

Personality: Safira is a very friendly person, quick to trust anybody until they've proved themselves unworthy of trust. She is very optimistic, which can sometimes take away from her sense of realism but can make her a very pleasant person to be around. Unless she develops a crush on someone, she's not usually shy. In the case that she does develop feelings for someone, she can get a bit awkward around them, though she does her best to hide it from them.

Safira also tends to be a quick learner, though she catches onto theory much easier than action.

History: Safira grew up in a fairly normal household in the suburb of a large city. Her parents have always been good to her and raised her to have good manners.

She has a brother, three years older than her, whose name is Kalani. Kalani moved to Rai three years ago, when he was Safira's age. He was always a mentor to her, though they did have their battles, like all siblings do. It was he that taught her the basics of martial arts, which was the art for which he applied to Rai, as well as wind manipulation. Safira is glad that she'll be able to see him sometimes.

A talent for the wind arts runs in both sides of her family, as evidenced by her father's name and her mother's maiden name which was Breezeshifter.

Safira was sent by her parents to Rai to learn the art that has been practiced by their families for generations.

Any weapons/armor you have: A basic bow and a quiver of arrows, which she uses for her archery class (she hopes to move up to a longbow eventually), a small knife (she carries this everywhere and usually does not use it for fighting, but will in an emergency), a staff that she uses for magic (see picture), basic leather chest armor, and thin leather gloves. She usually carries either the bow-and-arrows OR the staff, not both.

Any items you have: Just her pendant, which was given to her by her parents as a good-bye present (see Looks).

Any battle skills/magical powers you have: VERY basic martial arts (just basic kicks, punches, and blocks, nothing fancy), some small amount of wind manipulation that she discovered with her own experimentation prior to joining the school.

Character Flaws: Being an optimist, Safira tends to overestimate her own abilities. Also, if she develops respect for a certain person (or a crush on them ^^) , she tends to almost worship them, which can distract her from more important things. Occasionally her friendly nature has led her to trust some that would be better avoided.

Allignment: Neutral

Personality: A dark and mysterious person, who has been "cursed" with his families arts. He can only learn very few arts, and therefore has always hated his family. He regrets not having them around anymore though, and shows more compassion then he did when he was a child. He doesn't care for friends as much as a regular teenager, but there are a few people who have gotten inside of his heart and he is very kind to them. Everyone he has previously cared about has died or has betrayed him in way way or another. He is a really angsty person sometimes and likes to be left alone the majority of time.

History: His mother died of child birth, which Minoru blames himself for. His father moves around with his company alot, and Minoru feels that he has been betrayed by his father because he never talks to him, and has always hired people to take care of him and hang out with him. His brother died in war when Minoru was five, and his sister died of cancer a year ago. He has never had any real friends until he came to Ria High.


Any weapons/armor you have: A book of spells, as well as a ring that helps to keep his powers in check. He has also been seen carrying around a staff with blades at the end occasionally. His jacket is made of a very bendable metal.

Any items you have: A necklace with an eclispe on it. It represents his strength in Cosmic Magic.

Any battle skills/magical powers you have: He is trained to use a staff, but is not as great as the rest of his clan. Uses cosmic energy and magic for battles and spells.

Character Flaws: Refuses to see weakness in himself and is anti-social. He would always be the one to talk to and then get advice from. He is not one to start a conversation witha random stranger. Questions people's beliefs and has a tendency to get people mad at him, just to see their reaction. Somewhat of an overthinker and a rebel.

Character Looks: Medium height with long black hair always in his face. Pale yet healthy skin and dark blue eyes. He always seems to be frowning, though it looks as though a smile would look more natural on his face. He wears Japanese type clothing, usually a bright green yukata and worn wooden sandles.

Allignment: neutral

Personality: Quiet and untalkative but full of wisdom and insight. He possesses a powerful creative mind but is almost incapable of trust. He is unusually pessimistic and very shy around new people.

History: Trained by his father in the art of swordsmanship, he loved his father very much. He and his father wandered the realms together till a fateful battle where a mage using powerful mind enchantments turned father upon son. Ronan was forced to kill his father. Afterward his optimistic attitude died along with his soul. He had found his father owned a vast amount of gold and one of his wishes was for Ronan to attend school…so Ronan was taken to Ria High.

Any weapons/armor you have: An enchanted scimitar, an enchanted wakizashi, and his father’s enchanted katana.

Any items you have: a book of poetry and his innermost thoughts he never lets leave his sight, a necklace that was once his father’s sporting a young dragon’s tooth, a instrument resembling an ocarina, yet slightly larger and capable of more complex rythms, and his average school and clothes supplies.

Any battle skills/magical powers you have: Ronan is almost unbelievably fast…able to nearly teleport in the blink of an eye to his opponent. He also can use his bloodfire to heighten his battle prowess nearly double what he usually can…but he cannot control it well.
