The lights came on startling Nadyrr, glancing around quickly he saw the others going to the chair. Trying to balance his notes and such over to a desk with much scrapping and banging he somehow gets up on his chair balancing everything on his notebook. As he sits the inkwell gets pushed a little too much and spills over on the page of his notebook. Wincing with a pained look he takes a parchment and puts it over the spill, biting his lip distress reflected in his eyes he turns the page and again starts to try and take notes.
Nadyrr realizes after a little while that he isn't taking notes that instead he is taking a moment to look at the other students. Panic seizes him as the professor's voice continues on, looking at his notes he only has a few words written down here and there. The class was pretty at the begining but it wasn't shaping up to be much fun.

Amelia, who had gone back to her room to feed her cicus cat between classes, was running a bit late. She rushed down the hallway, scanning the doors for the name of the professor who would be teaching her next class.
Finally, she saw it: "Astronomy. Professor Elias" Peeking through the small window at the top of the door, she saw the room was semi-dark and it looked as if class had already started. She opened the door as quietly as she could and slipped inside, embarassed that she was late. One should never be late, she thought as she took a seat on the nearest stool and pulled her notebook, quill and ink from her bag.
She'd missed part of the lecture, but she thought she could probably get notes from someone else in class. She'd noticed that most of her classmates were Melancholy academics--and she knew they were big on note-taking.
Now paying rapt attention to the professor, Amelia began to take notes, occasionally glancing at the stars on the ceiling. It was quite the setup, she thought, amazed by the telescope and all of the computer equipment. But it did bring the stars much closer to them.

Kallisto had pretty much zoned out as she picked out familiar shapes among the stars. Her mentality was this : she could pick the information up at the library afterwards. When the lights came on, they stung her eyes and brought her back to the class. As others around her began to move, she followed their lead and sat down off to the side. The word alchemy made her ears perk up and she paused in her eye-rubbing to glance at the professor.
The lights revealed more of her teacher and she smiled, amazed at the grace and confidence of this one. A stark contrast to Tryna, she thought. Rummaging in her bag, Kallisto pulled out a quill and a notebook. Flipping to a new section, she titled it and leaned forward to watch the Grigori. She only hoped she would turn out to have the quiet confidence that seemed to emanate from Professor Elias.
If nothing else, she wanted to learn how to link 'cooking' with astronomy. Tryna's class had piqued far too much interest for her to let opportunities to grow that knowledge slide by.

Drokk frantically was trying to keep up with his writing. He'd but forgotten about trying to learn and only copy the professors words down to paper. Maybe he could read it when he got home or something. Drokk was continuing to see a pattern in these classes, and also sae a big red stamp with "failure" wrtten on it. He just couldn't understand things.
Drokk took a look around the class room and noticed a lot of people writing, but they seem to have a clue as to what was going on. Drokk just sighed and started writing again.

Elanin kept her focus on the screen, scribbling every now and then, her ears sharp to listen to the professor should he speak again, after all, it would do her no good to miss a command or something of the like now would it? She huffed and tried to make heads or tails of what was on the screen. She was starting to lose intrest in the class already.

Grave eyed the screen ahead of him and saw a blotchy model of the Milky Way displayed on the screen. Dotted across it were the stars and planets, each with a thin red ring around them. Grave swivelled the optiball towards the red lines and saw that they drew up clear images of the star or planet circled and gave detailed information about the revolution rate of the body and the path on which it crossed in the earth sky. Grave was startled from this fascinating display of extensive information when the professor spoke again. "Since most Empyreans develope an obsession with fighting against the Outsiders, today we're going to learn about a single planet. The Red Planet - Mars. As you may learn in Raelyn's art class, different colours have different affects on the consciousness. Red, in this case breeds passion, anger, impatience and rash thinking. The Red Planet is so coloured from an excess of iron in its environment. Iron, as you may learn in Abrid's class is a powerful tool for creating castor shells, and has a distinct affect on Outsider blood, as their blood cells require it to carry oxygen which feeds their muscles, brain and tissues. Mars - the Roman name for the Greek God of War, was considered chaotic, brash and violent - kept in check only by Venus, Goddess of love and passion. So, if you combine these qualities, you will begin to have an idea about what this planet can augment and with what sciences and magics it can be used." Grave's quill was flying across the page of his notebook, recording facts and factoids, making a small spiderweb of interrelating information. When Elias paused for the smallest of moments, Grave glanced up and had to stop himself from staring admirably at the teacher. Elias' clear dark blue eyes were sweeping over the room, the smallest of smiles on his lips. With a twinkle in the professor's wise eyes that made him seem a great deal younger, he asked softly. "Would you like to learn a spell?" Grave's spine went very straight and his left hand shook a little. Magic! This was what Grave had been waiting for....

A chill went down Aysel's spine. A spell? Magic? "Professor..." She murmured, peering up from her notes at the serpentine man. "What sort of spell...?" She was vaguely nervous, trembling as she dug in her bag for the proper book to record magical learnings in, but she was also intensely excited. Magic! Real magic! She could hardly wait, but somehow she managed to, quill poised shakily above her paper as she waited for Professor Elias to continue or answer her.

Having been quickly writing down every word that the professor said, Ubel's quill only paused when he heard the magic word. A spell. It would be his first. Slowly, he looked up, eyes wide and hopeful, a tiny sound coming from him. "A spell," he breathed, dragging out the notebook he used for his spellbook, opening it to the second page quickly and just waiting with great anticipation.

Elanin was scribbling as fast as should could while she listened to the professor. She was sure she was getting the most of things, if not all down in the best way, it would at least make some sense. When she heard the professor ask if they wanted to learn a spell, she put her quill down and sat up completely straight, eyes locked on him.
Magic, now there was something she was very interested in.

((Ahaha. I got so far behind!! *scoots in*))
Mat had sort of lost track of what was going on with the Uranus demonstration, having just barely managed not to let go of Grave's hand as he was swept up in the feelings Elias and the planet were calling up in him.
By the time they receded, just about everything between that and when everyone started moving was ... just gone. He blinked, looking around, and then quickly went to sit on the other side of Grave, pulling out a notebook even though he probably wouldn't write much.
And he didn't, just scribbling down certain words - whatever ones sounded the most important, mostly. Big Sky ... Milky Way ... Constellations ... Circle Magic ... He didn't even bother trying to write down all of the attributes of various planets and so and so forth. Elias was going too fast and he could probably get it from Grave or look it up or something later anyway.
A spell though ... ooooh yea. He wanted to learn a spell. He sat up as well, grinning and nodding his head slightly.

Nadyrr's main problem at the moment was that he didn't know how to take notes, so instead of just writing down the important things that the professor said he was attempting to write it all down - which was not going well for him. Furrowing his brow Nadyrr paused in his writing to listen about Mars he tapped his quill a little in thought. His pondering and loss of notes flew from his mind in only a few moments.
A spell! he thought to himself he couldn't believe his ears at first. Then came a wave of uncertainty, he had a feeling he would not be good at this sort of thing. He hoped that it wouldn't be a damaging spell because if it was he was sure he would screw it up. A bit fearful over the whole idea Nadyrr closes his notebook and pulls out another fresh one, chewing on his lip quill ready he gulped, he wondered if he should respond but the deep feeling of fear had taken over and he didn't think he would be able to if his life depended on it. While the others reacted to the professor Nadyrr closed his eyes tightly hoping his panic would pass.

Drokk shook his head, okay this was it. Why did these classes want to curse him possibilities of burning the school down. Drokk remembered the last class well, and okay, IF he could get the spell to work, it might be okay. But for him, things he couldn't understand, he didn't like, not afraid of, just disliked.
Drokk decided to be abrupt, upfront and honest to the professor. Heck, he may even send him outside to play sports instead, that would be something more fun to do.
" Hey sir? I don't really want to learn a spell. Can I go train outside instead?"

Elias looked around the room with vibrant eyes as the class murmured in both excitement and apprehension. He raised both slender hands and spread them, calling for silence. "Calm down, everyone. I would not call upon you to do a dangerous magic so soon. No one may leave until class is over for the day, so just relax. The Spell is called Biquintile, and it is a Circle Magic Spell. Biquintile is a versatile spell, because it can be practised with any of the different combinations of the planets to reveal information about a target. And just to allay your fears, I myself will pose as that target, so that you may all practise on me. Agreed?" Grave looked at the beautiful professor and with horror imagined the possibility of harm coming to him. Grave cleared his throat and spoke up. "Professor...what if one of us makes a mistake? Wouldn't you be at risk?" Elias turned gracefully in a spiral to face Grave and inclined his head. "Even if such a thing were a possibility with this spell, and it is not, none of you are remotely strong enough to cause me any great harm. But to the point of the question, if you were to make a mistake casting Biquintile, you would be able to divine nothing but gibberish if anything at all. So, come on all of you...don't be afraid to try. You just might learn something."

Mat tilted his head to one side, thinking for a moment. "It doesn't really sound dangerous," he muttered to Grave, glancing over at him. "I mean it just sounds like we're kind of gonna .... scan him? And be able to see stuff like uhm. Health or strength maybe?"
Personally, he thought this was gonna be great. It could be a useful spell for, say, the Arena ... or something.

Nadyrr gulped a little listening, his mind finally seemed to register the professor in front of him. His heart beating a little more quickly he saw how attractive Elias was gripping his notebook in his hands nervously he moves forward. Part of him was more nervous about what he may divine about him - that is of course if his spell even worked right.
Nadyrr had never attempted magic before, so this was ever the more frightening. Narrowing his eyes he forced his ind to clear and attempted to give all his attemption to Elias, not a passive attention that someone attractive might get at all times. But an active attention so he could do what would be required of him.
