Hello all!
Nurichiri on Gaia, Jennine in real life. I've always loved the Lord, (my mom read me bible stories when I was little) but I didn't actually pray the sinners prayer or go to church on a regular basis until I was 17. Now, ten years later, after bouncing from church to church - as most were more interested in who was holier than who and personal politics (which is I think why most non-believers cry "hypocrite" at Christians) rather than worshiping God and learning his ways - I have found a wonderful Assembly of God church and will soon be married to an incredible Christian man. (June 17th biggrin ) He too is on Gaia, but hasn't found this place yet.

Hello, I just joined. I'm soo glad to have found a place here on gaia where I can be with other believers. I feel kinda wierd about saying my real name on here, (that whole never say your name on the internet because you never know who you're talking to thing) but I'm a christian, and have been for years now. I'm ingaged, and hope to soon be married, though we are currently waiting to grow and learn what we need to know to be proper support for eachother. It makes it hard, but we know that God has everything worked out, we just need to follow Him. Aside from that, I'm currently job hunting (the thing I dislike must in the world... job hunting....) and learning things like cooking and housekeeping and different craft type things (sewing, knitting, crocheting, latch-hooking, so on...) That's about it, I think...

I was baptized a Catholic. I attend a Catholic private school. And on Sundays I participate in Methodist services. My dad is a free spirit, so he lets me believe whatever I want and do whatever I want when it comes to religion. I was raised in a "hippy" home so I've got a great appreciation for music, I'm easy going and really open minded. I don't really consider myself a part of any real denomination. I just believe what I want, because I don't think any denomination can truly say they know what God wants. I actually tie a lot of my thoughts and beliefs from traditional Native American belief and Christian belief that I've been brought up in. I guess it's just the animist in me that made me so interested in them in the first place. You'd be surprised by their similarities. Natives, in a sense, were more "Christian" than the settlers that forced them into the religion. Their appreciation for nature, its creatures and the environment is really beautiful. Not to mention their understanding of the importance of sharing and family.
