In downtown New York Zion sat at a bar. She had used a fake ID to get in and even if they hadn't asked for ID she'd still be able to drink since she looked older then she actually was. The bartender put her empty bottle of Coors Light in the trash and opened another for her. "Everything ok?" The woman asked. Zion just shook her head and kept her mouth shut, indicating she didn't want to discuss her problems with a stranger. She had been excited about the dance, still was, but didn't know if she'd go since she really didn't know anybody and the people she did know she was to timid to ask any of them. A fear of rejection had burrowed it's self deep inside her and only came out at times like this, especially since the newspaper article about the previous Friday.
"Bloody hell.." Zion slammed money on the bar and left. Drinking wasn't going to help her do anything but get drunk, which she partly was already, as she got in the car and sped off.
It took about an hour for her to get home and by that time she wasn't as buzzed yet still smelled like alchohol when she walked in and went straight up to her room, slamming the door behind her.

Tatiyana started walking down the hallway again, not in the least aware of the impact of her teasing. As they walked down the hallway, she slid back into her unemotional exterior shell, letting the silence surround them comfortably. As content as she was with the quiet, it aggitated her a bit when he felt the need to speak, but she obligingly listened, until rage ran through her hotly and she stopped abruptly in her tracks.
"Do not ever insult the professor by saying that again. He is the most kind, honest and respectable man I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. His only wish is to teach us to control our powers and ensure the desegragation of humans and mutants. He wants equality, not war." Her voice trembled with emotion, and, without looking at Alastair, turned to walk the other direction. If he could not respect Xavier he had no place here. Perhaps she was overreacting, but Xavier was the first person she'd known to accept her, with all her many faults. He was like a father figure to so many at the Institute, and such an insult was not permitted in her mind.

Watching her stalk off, he sighed to himself and jogged down the hall to catch back up, habitually holding one hand out to at least give him warning enough to slow down before he smashed into a wall. "A'right A'right. Ah Apoligize. I jus' had tah be sur'. Now, will yah take meh to 'im? I reallah need his help."
After he was done spattering out his half broken words in due to his accent getting the better of his tongue, he tilted his head and gave a half shrug, looking almost pitiful by his facial expression. Alastair couldnt risk being put back onto the streets again, not with his powers growing as they were, and with no understanding of how to control them properly, he was almost afraid of what he could unleash upon the world.
"Look, A'hm beggin yah. Jus'..Jus' take meh to 'im, an' A'hl be outta yer hair so yeh can go bac' to doin' wha' you wahs doin befur' I foun' ya.." He asked pleadingly, ready to get down on hands and knees if need be. Alastair found himself to be pretty much pathetic right about now, but it was worth swallowing his pride it meant personal salvation.

Going around, Koriander was surprised with how empty the place seemed. It was pretty nice, though. Posh. She wasn't a huge fan of interior design, but she knew herself to be very picky about things like that. She continued her lazy exploration, getting used to the layout. Afterall, she was to be stuck there for a while...
Voices drew her attention. Staying closed to the wall, Koriander slowly approached to hear better. She had no quams whatsoever about easedropping. One tended to do that quite a bit when one had her hobby...
"...A'hl be outta yer hair so yeh can go bac' to doin' wha' you wahs doin befur' I foun' ya.."
Oooooo, someone seemed to have pissed off a little princess... Koriander curled her lip. She hated snivelers like that...and wasn't at all any more amiable to prissy little things with too fragile an outer shell...
Whether or not this was factoral impression didn't matter much to her as she listened for the princess's answer.

Fortunately, Morgan had been able to locate Kurt, and had him teleport both Morgan and Victoria back to the mansion, where Morgan promptly took her to see McCoy.
"Oh dear, what happened to this poor girl?" Beast asked as Morgan carried her into the infirmary.
"Toad happened," Morgan replied, gently laying the girl down on one of the the tables.
"Hmm. Well, it's good that you brought her to me first. You would have had one heck of a time explaining this to the school nurse," McCoy said. "You should be fine within a few hours. You may feel a bit of residual numbness, but that's to be expected. You just have to be careful that you don't hurt yourself without knowing it," he added, turning to Victoria.
"Now, if you two will excuse me, I have to speak with someone," Beast said, walking back to his deck, picking up a small stack of papers, and heading towards some tables at the other end of the infirmary.
------------------------------------------------ "Your test results are complete," McCoy said, approaching Raze and Rogue, who were still sitting in the infirmary.
"And?" Rogue asked.
"And you have a clean bill of health. I could find no problems at all. If anything, we should all be so healthy," he replied, smiling kindly.
"What about me?" Raze said, expectantly.
"You were a bit of a conundrum. I actually found nothing that would cause the events you two described, but as I thought about it more, I developed a theory," McCoy answered.
"A theory?"
"I can't find any evidence for or against it, but it's the only thing that I could come up with. It's not terribly common, but in some cases, a mutant's powers will continue to develop additional aspects beyond their initial manifestations. My current state is a prime example of that," Beast said, referring to his blue and furry appearance. "The wings that Rogue spoke of, as well as your obvious resilience to her powers, might well be manifestations of this advancement," he explained.
"So, does that mean that this might be... permanant?" Raze asked, cocking an eyebrow. If something like this was going on with him, he wanted to know all the details.
"Yes, there is a reasonable chance that it will be."
Raze and Rogue exchanged glances.
"Rogue, give me you hand. I want to test something," Raze said.
"You sure?" she asked, easily figuring out what it was that Raze wanted to test.
"Of course I am. Are you ready?" he asked, raising his hand, and removing his own glove.
She nodded.
Slowly, they pressed their palms together, meshing their fingers. And nothing happened. The most incredible, wonderful nothing that had ever happened to either of them. There was no burning of flesh, no draining of life force. The universe didn't collapse upon itself.
McCoy clearly understood the significance of this gesture, and decided to leave the two of them alone. But not before leaving a little parting gift. "By the way, you two... Since you both seem to be in perfect health, I don't see why I can't discharge you. I should think that the two of you would be getting ready for the school dance soon," he said, smiling broadly as he left the two of them together.

Lance had been right, the fires of hell had slowed the blond down. Her two raging pillars of water, cringed at the sight of flames and crashed to the ground. Valerie was soaked to bone and thanks to her moment of loss of control, the hallway was covered with a layer of water nearly an inch thick.
"Awe, poor Blondie," said Lance, smirking, "afraid you're gonna melt?"
At this point in the grudge match, it was either all or nothing. It was obvious that the mutant pair were tiring, both physically and mentally, but both were stubborn enough not to back down for anyone. He had to admit, she was a good opponent. As far as dumb blonds went, that is.
Taking her pillars of water as his cue, Avalanche brought us hands out in an open armed gesture, Valerie in dead center and clapped them together again. The ground being at his every beck and call, rose up on either side of the mutant girl and mimicking Lance's hand gestures, started to close around her. With any luck, she'd be trapped in a rock full of water. Lance smiled at the thought, he had enough energy left that the ground was under his control, he could let her free if he so wished, but watching this Vally girl squirm was the sweet victory he wanted. ------------------------------------------- Within a flash and a puff of smoke, both Morgan and Victoria were inside the X-Mansion's panted Infirmary. The table that Morgan laid her on was cold and she blinked in annoyance, but she couldn't complain, she was out of the war-zone. Luckily, Mr. McCoy, the X-Mansion's resident blue-fuzzy physician and science was close-by.
"You should be fine within a few hours," he said, "You may feel a bit of residual numbness, but that's to be expected. You just have to be careful that you don't hurt yourself without knowing it."
Though ecstatic the effects of Toad's resin would be sort lived, Victoria was left slightly confused about his last statement. Whatever, she thought, can't mean anything I don't already know.

((I dont know if Im giving the right response so I'll just post how I see it XD I can change the post if Ive persieved it wrongly))
Valerie watched with a grin on her tanned face as the rocks surrounded her, not feeling afraid that much, she had just enough energy to free herself if she wished and breathing underwater wasnt a real problem with her. Mizu still in his demonic whirlpool let himself stop to watch and see if his master would be okay, she had never really been in a situation like this before and the little creature worried for her own safety, he knew she would rather collapse than loose a fight, the price of being stubborn!
As soon as she was out of sight and hidden by rocks, slowly her whole body gelationised and turned a clear colour like the water around her, searching around for a small crack or some kind of weakness in the rock, she had only done something like this one time before but that was going under a door and she was still a little inexperienced when it came to moving in her Element form! finding the tiniest of cracks she breathed slowly and let herself slowly slip through it taking extreme care as she did
She was perfectly hidden in the water on the outside which was a good thing for her as Lance would think she was still inside. But Valerie couldnt keep in this form much longer. Standing up from her watery protection she whimpered slightly as she melted back into human form and fell to her knees in the liquid around her. Mizu gave a sigh of relief that she wasnt badly hurt or anything!
Weakly hitting the ground around her with her fists in dissapointment she looked upto Lance peering through her blonde bangs which clung to her damp face and pouted, wetter than she had been before his hoped last onslaught.
"Im done...for now!"
She muttered weakly fists still clenched on the ground.

Damion thought about how little he had done in this fight. He had lost the chance to make alot of allies or enemies. On the other hand he had gained extensive knowledge of the abilities of these other mutants and they in turn had not gained a thing from him. He felt kind of depressed now that it was all over that he had let the chance go by but he would get over it. He boredly watched the battle betweeen Lance and Valery comeing to a possible close. The people at this school He thought choosing the words carefuly in his mind, are very closed-minded. They are stubborn and they lack the ability to control themselves. He decided that it would be easy for someone to come in and control a group of these people. He himself hated politics. Perhapse his fellow students were not as bad as he sugested but he was having trouble pin-pointing his thoughts about the people in this place and he prefered to be able to set things in stone. He leaned against the door frame boredly imagining how badly he would have done if he had tried to fight with people who's powers revolved around strength like Lance's. He looked at the silver cane in his hand curious as to how much good it would do him if he had to use it. He threw it across the room where it made a nice ping against the wall. None very likely. He settled on a new thesis about this hellhole in general. School is going to be very tiring. That pretty much summed up everythought passing through his head at this moment. So he rested his eyes and waited for the initial excitement to die out and the crowds, or what were left of them, to disperse. He already hated crowds enough as it is.

"...and I want those grades in my office before tomorrow morning is that clear Mr. Hallow!?"
The balding teacher nodded and whimpered nervously from behind his desk as Principal Darkholme towered menacingly over him. She smirked, her cold stare not fading for an instant as Mr. Hallow, fearing for his job and life, cowered in the corner of his chair. He was squirming like a pathetic little bug, squashed helpless under her heel.
Now that that was taken care of she turned sharply away from Mr. Hallow's desk and strutted out of the classroom. She groaned and rolled her eyes as she heard the Algebra teacher break into a fit of desperate sobbing just as she turned her back.
"I'm surrounded by children," she said, stepping into the empty hallway. Miss. Darkholme couldn't be in worse mood at the moment. It was the end of the school year, grades needed to be turned in, report cards given out, students were starting to get stir crazy and plans for the End of the Year dance still needed to be finalized. And those were just her duties as principal, she still had matters of her little rag-tag the Brotherhood of Mutants to deal with.
But, she could deal with that later, right now, there was a few matters that she needed to take care of in her office. She had just reached it and was turning the door knob when she left the ground trembled softly beneath her. Suspicious, she thought, but ignored it for the time being. However, it trembled again, this time little bit harder and was accompanied by screaming and cat-calls from the next hallway over. Mr. Darkholme rolled her eyes as she stepped away from her office door and charged with authority down the hallway, toward the ruckus as frightened student ran in the opposite direction. "These children will never make it to adulthood at his rate," she scoffed as she rounded the corner.
The hallway was in shambles. Windows were broken, blood, books and a curious green resin was splattered everywhere, lockers were broken, the floor was crumbled in areas, water flooded half the hallway...the scene was ugly, but not as ugly as the punishment for whoever made this mess.
Standing at the head of the hallway, she glanced down to see three individuals; Lance Alvers, Valerie Bell and Damion Holestar, the last two being new to Bayville High. She knew for a fact that Lance was a mutant, a powerful one at that, for he was already a member and unofficial leader of the Brotherhood, the other two, she could only assume they were, but for now, it didn't matter. She was taking anyone who was stupid enough to remain at the scene of the crime in for questioning, guilty or not guilty.
"The three of you," she shouted, absolutely furious by what she say in front of her, "come to my office NOW! There are some serious matters I'd like to discuss with you."

Valerie turned her head and spotted the furious headmistress, she would have gotten up but her legs refused to due so down to the amount of energy she had spent freeing herself from those darned rocks. Mizu scurried over to his master and once again dissapeard into her thigh and didnt make any signs of coming out, when teachers were around it was best for him to stay in the safety of Elemental's body
Attempting to get up Valerie sighed and looked back to Mrs. Darkholme with a sheepish expression, normally she wouldnt dare pull this type of expression to a teacher who looked like murder was on the menu.
"I would do but I cant seem to move!"
She blurted hoping detention wasnt the answer to her obvious statement

Damion wouldn't say a word. How the bloody hell could he concidering that he had probably been the least involved of anyone in the fight? He should have known better. There was simply no justice in the world anymore. He was already standiong so he pushed himself off the wall and gave a deadly look at Lance. He wanted to kill him. Alot of good it would do anyone but he still wanted to. This was all that a*****e's fault. He glanced at Valery slightly before studdying Miss. Darkholme. It was ovious that people feared her and she looked like she wanted to kill Lance as well. That was some reliefe. She looked like she wanted to kill Damion just as easily but you had to chose your battles sometimes. He probably would have done exactly what she had said had it not been for the fact that he was already plotting revenge... and he didn't know where her office was. He could follow another student but they did not appear to be going anywhere either.
