Her vision was still blurry from the tear gas, but as Lorata tried to crawl along to the next intersection, she thought she could see someone there ahead. She hesitated, pressing her back to the wall, but there was no way she could have fled even if it was an enemy, was there? Not in this state anyway. "Hello?" Blinking away tears, she squinted until the form became more familiar. "Wait, oh my glub, Fellah?" Honestly she didn't know whether to be distressed or relieved that she wasn't alone.
Lorata uses SECOND WIND but it fails

I remembered they were on the same space when she died, but I can't remember who else was! If you guys wanted to do a prp or something though, I'm still down for it, since I'm not sure if there are enough posts ahead of here!

Polair stops to admire the death maze and forgot to roll.
Polair and Claud go RIGHT! HP: 10/40 -1 HP each roll
They were both tired of the tower's shenanigans. It would be so savoring to dismantle it once they arrived to the power block. However they both arrived at a dead end with three doors lining the hall. Since both couldn't tell each door apart, Polar decided to open the first door on the left. Smart move, probably. As soon as she opened the door, a pile of troll bots fell out of the janitorial cupboard and pounced onto them. Claud was actually starting to get sick of the taste of metal and oil. It was only a matter of time for him to throw up all he had consumed that night.
Psykgi Mentha 7/20 hp Damage Dealt: 1 to Half Constructed Tower (Actually 3... I'll do a 30 minute post and put that +2 in...) Damage Taken: 5 - but Ma'am takes the hit 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you Direction: Right Military Standard Medical Kit (Adept Artifact Support A) (0/2 Uses, heal one troll 1/2 hp) Second Wind (1/1)
Ah, the hallway of doors. Psykgi slowed, creeping by carefully. She'd seen other trolls get dragged in and beaten, and she didn't really feel like that tonight.
However, since the passage ahead was blocked, she had no choice but to tentatively approach a door and open it, darting quickly to the side before it could actually do something to her. She closed her eyes, flinching, as there was a mechanical creaking and a sudden, wet whumph. She opened them to find that the floor was now covered in red-hued bug guts and white, twitching carapaces.
Ma'am.
Other roaches scurried around their fallen comerades, entering a mechanism hidden behind the... mallet? Really? A mallet? Psykgi shook her head at the absurdity and managed, even, a laugh as she chopped away at the wires.
Nucleo Glatte HP: 3/20 (1 ongoing until support) Damage: 4 Direction: Left f you rolled a 2, you open the third door on the right, and immediately try and close it again as a swarm of robotically enhanced bees pour out. Well, it's just three of them but with their laser sights and reloading stingers, three is enough to make these bees a swarm. Take 3 dmg, and 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you.
"Oh no, I think we lost him." Nucleo's pace eventually slowed, unable to fend off exhaustion forever. Amonee looked pretty tired too. Walking now, the greenblood felt his throat too dry to swallow. They approached some doors and he wanted to slam his head into a way. Somehow he always seemed to pick the door with bots waiting behind it. Maybe he should let Amonee pick one for him? No that would be cowardly. He needed to protect the other boy.
"Here we go." He was unable to mask the strain in his voice as he reached forward to open a random door. He was also unable to mask the panic on his face when robotic bees came out and swarmed him. Screaming as he flailed wildly to try and knock them down to break them, there was a plea to his tone.
"How many lasers are in this placeeee!?"

∞ Ephias Sagine
Health: 12 (Dog-piled!) Defensive B Trinket: 0/1 Support A Artefact: 0/1
As he trailed through the hallways in silence, listening to the clanging of failing machinery, Ephias found himself once more dwelling on the potential futility of their efforts... the likely futility of their efforts. There seemed to be no end to the winding halls, and his companions were dropping off like flies. It was just like back at the Phoenix Initiative HQ, only this time there was no light at the end of the tunnel.
The only reason he kept moving forward was because he had lost track of all the turns he had taken. He would be just as lost going back as he was going forward. Dully he wondered if he was going to die in this labyrinthine skyscraper. The thought did not upset him as much as it should have.
As he reached up to make another mark on the wall with his shears, he felt a hand on his sleeve. He recoiled; it belonged to the seadweller. Heedless, she pulled him aside.
At her words Ephias displayed little emotion, per usual. He felt the bite of confusion, as she healed him however. “You're n-not...” He paused, response trailing. The seadweller slumped before him. She was pathetic, filthy and worn out. Hardly a sight one would associate with one of her blood hue. Confusion mixed with pity. “I can't make any promises,” he said firmly. “Keep up.”

Scorpa Devile HP: 16/40 (lusus) (1 ongoing until support) Damage: 4 Direction: Left If you rolled a 1, you open the first door on the left, and are dogpiled by a bunch of troll-bots that pour out of small janitorial cupboard and onto you. Take 4 dmg, and 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you.
"I can do this. Don't worry, Lorata." It pained her to see the seadweller like this. Anger and frustration at her inability to just smash the bomb already started to fill her. She didn't like having to deal with a new redblood babysitter either but wasn't about to tell him to leave after Lorata had entrusted them to work together. For now she'd follow him and then try to swoop for the glory once a chance presented itself. At his mention to keep up, the yellowblood glared at his back.
"Don't ******** this up." The girl warned him, once they were out of Lorata's hearing range. She wouldn't hesitate to smack a b***h if it was warranted.
((Just gonna quote all the sirens still, in case you were interested in seeing what's happening! I wanna see all the other siren fills you all have too!))
Amonee Brycer HP: 3/20 (1 ongoing until support) Damage: 5 Direction: Left
These door challenges were hard. Amonee felt weak already from the previous traps he'd encountered and now he had to play a guessing game with awful prizes behind each door. The only thing that kept him going was the thought that maybe he was close to the end now. If he could just find the bomb, they could shut it down and Panili's vision would not come to pass. Everyone would be safe. Everyone would be happy. Even if he was going to be sore and bruised tomorrow, it would all be worth it because they would have saved the night!
"I'm going to try this one. Be careful, Cleo!" Opening one just a crack, his eyes widened in frozen horror as a tiny robotically enhanced bee flew out instantly. Followed by another. And another! The painter slammed the door shut as fast as he could before any more of them could escape. Shoot, this was really bad! Instantly, tiny stinger pricked at his skin and the boy helped in pain, trying to swat them to destroy them. Ugh, this was so difficult! He ran down the hall, calling out to Nucleo that he was starting to feel tired. Normally, physical activity didn't really bother him due to their history of hiking but... a high energy hunt through a building of pain was wearing him down pretty good!
Psykgi Mentha 6/20 hp Damage Dealt: 3+2 = 5 to Half Constructed Tower +2 from forgotten round Damage Taken: 1 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you Direction: Military Standard Medical Kit (Adept Artifact Support A) (0/2 Uses, heal one troll 1/2 hp) Second Wind (1/1)
Psykgi saw a vulnerable spot in the wall - likely made vulnerable by the trolls before her or by the building itself - and stuck something metal and sharp into it. Ma'am shrieked and shoved at her as steam (at least, she hoped it was steam) began to pour from the wound in the wall. Lights in the hallway immediately around her flickered and arched in the steam. She grinned even as she flinched away from the sparks.
Well.
That had been effective, hadn't it? She went back over towards the group when the building twisted and shuddered. "Gah!" she exclaimed, as she went tumbling through the halls, cockroaches trailing unhappily behind her...

Damn it. It was a dead end after all. She'd had the thought in the back of her thinkpan, and didn't want to think it would end up a dead end. Honestly, she should have known better as a troll who lived in her own labyrinth. There were rules. The exit was probably the side Vix was heading towards.
She'd have to turn around as soon as she could, and try to catch up with them. Maybe there was still time enough, and energy enough, that she could make it. Only a little further, she told herself. It was almost there.
Eostre dealt 2 damage to the Defense AI She is going RIGHT! -1 HP per roll
Angel clambered into the dark room, and crushed everything that tried to touch her. She was not in any mood to deal with more of the shenanigans of the defense AI. Lorata was still in the group, Natash noticed. She hoped the other seadweller didn't think she was stupid, or weak. Especially with her broken arm. She held it tightly, a little disturbed by the angle. At least her real arms... she never quite had to look at them like this. It was a bit nauseating. We're stopping. I will not carry you any further in this maze, Natash. You will end up being further damaged, and I won't allow that,Angel hissed suddenly.
Natash dealt x damage to the Defense AI. She is going LEFT!
"What? Why?" Gnash demanded. Staying here wouldn't help at all, and Angel didn't even look hurt! She was just giving up. And pretending to care about her safety? She'd never done so before, so Gnash found it hard to believe that was her real reason. "Am I just that embarrassing to you that you would rather we sit here and wait for bombs or something worse and you would want me to not be here?" she frowned, wishing she could cross her arms. She stared her lusus down. Daring her.
Don't be ridiculous. You insolent child, are you trying to get yourself killed? I've determined that this is no place for you. You're a seadweller, and this has potential to hurt you. Look at what it's done to your arm.She narrowed her eyes. You'll sit here. The others will take care of the situation, preferably a lowblood. You will be escorted to safety. Do I make myself clear?
She felt her will quickly crumbling under the weight of her lusus. Her defiant face was replaced with resignation. What was she going to do, just walk out alone? Through the traps? She needed her lusus. A parentless child would be culled. She could be culled just for arguing... "Fine but do not think I am happy with this situation," she mumbled under her breath.

As you walk down the hall, the ceiling above you begins to lower. Not only above you - but in front and behind of you as well. As you rush forwards, grills slide up infront and behind of you, blocking you from progressing further down the hall!
If you rolled a 1, you panic and grab the bars of the grill, shaking them frantically. At the last moment, one snaps and you claw your way between them. One of your legs gets caught between the lowering ceiling and the floor, and you're only able to get free by slipping out of your shoe. Take 3 dmg, and 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you.
If you rolled a 2, you remember how fragile the previous traps have been, and begin to tear apart the walls and floor in search of circuits to destroy. All you seem to find is unrelated power cords that give you nasty shocks, and you end up having to squeeze through a hole in the grill, torn open by another troll fleeing the trap. Take 2 dmg, and 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you.
If you rolled a 3, you test how strong the ceiling is by bracing your back and shoulders against it when it gets low enough, and pushing back. The ceiling rumbles, creaks, pops, and eventually stops pushing down on you, but not before giving you the backache of the century.Take 2 dmg, and 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you.
If you rolled a 4, you wait till the ceiling is close enough, then tug and tear at it with your weapon and hand, pulling them back to reveal the inner workings. These you violently destroy, until the pannel above you shivers into stillness, and the grill ahead of you flops down. Take 1 dmg, and 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you.
If you rolled a 5, you run to one end of the penned-in cage, then charge at the grill on the other end, sending it popping out of the floor, and you tumbling into a safe stretch of the hall. Take 2 dmg.
If you rolled a 6, you hurry over to the grill and shove either your weapon, or any old piece of metal in between it and the floor, levering it out with a pop. Talk about shoddy construction. You continue quickly down the hallway as the ceiling slams into the floor behind you. Take 1 dmg.
She had to turn around entirely. She was wasting her time checking to make sure they were all dead ends, and there really was not plenty of time to be wasting! The ceiling began to lower, and she sneered. Not this s**t again. She didn't have the patience. She grabbed a piece of scrap metal from the ground and shoved it between the floor and the grill, popping the thing right out of the ground. It really had some hurried construction if she could so easily destroy it, huh? Much quicker than her previous method of tearing out the ceiling, though.
Eostre dealt 4 damage to the Defense AI She is going LEFT! -1 HP per roll
