Meaning of (name): Banzai is named after the hyena from Lion King. In Swahili, it means "lurk" or "skulk" Aliases: Banzai, Rockstar Date Found: May 29, 2010 Found: Given OwnershipDate of Maxing: May 1, 2012 Temper: Obnoxious-extremely unpleasant. Breed: Blister Paw Breed Appearance: Mutant Regular? Height: 15.1 hands Personality: Banzai can be crass and rude at times. He's always been a free spirit, wild and a bit over-dramatic. Since meeting Acacia and becoming a father, he's toned it down some. He'll never be chill, but he is a lot more mature than he was before (with some relapses). Quirks/Character Traits: ✶ Is a little ADD ✶ Is all about individualism ✶ Once saved Acacia from a fire years ago. Backstory:Banzai has always been a bit of a rockstar. He left his family at an early age and went out into the world to live life on his own terms. He partied hard and seldom thought of the consequences. Then one day he met a mare named Acacia who made him want to be different. After some time together, he realized that she was the foal he'd saved from a fire when he was still young himself. Just as their relationship was progressing, an old one night stand showed up with two foals in tow-his foals. Shocked and a bit confused, he understood when Acacia needed time to figure things out. Accepting his role as a new parent and in an attempt to grow up and show he was worthy of her, Banzai settled down some. When eventually Acacia came back, she came back pregnant with foals that were not his. Upset by this, he realized that he could not fault her for this mistake since he'd had many indiscretions himself. Besides, just because he wasn't the biological dad didn't mean he couldn't be a dad to these foals. He took her back and they started to grow back together stronger than ever before.

Meaning of (name): Boi-tatá (Portuguese pronunciation: [bojtaˈta]) is the Brazilian equivalent of the will-o'-the-wisp.[23] Regionally it is called Boitatá, Baitatá, Batatá, Bitatá, Batatão, Biatatá, M'boiguaçu, Mboitatá and Mbaê-Tata. The name comes from the Old Tupi language and means "fiery serpent" (mboî tatá). Its great fiery eyes leave it almost blind by day, but by night, it can see everything. According to legend, Boi-tatá was a big serpent which survived a great deluge. A "boiguaçu" (a cave anaconda) left its cave after the deluge and, in the dark, went through the fields preying on the animals and corpses, eating exclusively its favorite morsel, the eyes. The collected light from the eaten eyes gave "Boitatá" its fiery gaze. Not really a dragon but a giant snake (in the native language, "boa" or "mboi" or "mboa"). He has no real need for company except to play mind games on. He is strong though he rarely uses his strength in a show of force, he'd much rather mentally decimate someone because those wounds last much much longer than physical ones. He's very keen on legends. Quirks/Character Traits: ✶ Witness gives him the tools to realize that he doesn't have to be alone nor does he have to be an unloveable monster. ✶ Favorite time of day is dusk ✶ Hates trespassers. Backstory: Boi mother did not have him by choice, she had been forced upon by a mutant monster. Though she did her best to try to raise him with love and kindness, she could not overcome it. Boi remembers her trying at times very hard, but there was always a way she would shudder or move when she saw him as though she saw his father instead of him. Perhaps because of shame, he and his mother lived in the secluded swamp, but over time it took it's toll on his mother. One day, he awoke to find her gone without a trace. He was still a foal then, but he knew that of all the theories he had that his mother had probably simply had enough. She could not bear looking at him for a moment more. Strong even as a foal and with a superior intellect, he survived on his own in the swamp despite the odds. His only real friend (or rather minion) is his otter Nefarious. As an adult he loves to lure others into the swamp with his spider like eyes to trap them or hold them hostage, becoming at last, the very thing his mother feared him to be.

Boi-tata captures a lost Adoration Sinclair and is followed and set upon by Witness, who decides to call him on his crap. She opens up a whole new line of thought, that perhaps he doesn't have to be completely good but that he doesn't have to be alone. He doesn't have to be a saint, but he doesn't have to be alone either. |
