Mairi was initially confused as they made their way back into the city as she didn't know the city very well. Maybe with time, I'll know it better, she mumbled thoughtfully.

Mairi was startled at the size of the mall, as she had never seen anything like it. Wow!! It's huge, she said with a hint of awe as she unbuckled herself and slid out of the car.

Mairi giggled. You really have to ask? I like being around you, Mama, she said with a smirk before her eyes flickered around, deepening in color from a soft bluish lavender to a deep cobalt blue. In her family, it wasn't unusual for their eye colors to change subtly with their emotions.

The girl's section is near the women's section to my right, Mairi tilted her head as the store clerk spoke. Ah... we could find something for Lucas. He's been saying something about gemstones, though I don't know how you'd polish them, she said with a thoughtful look. What's this... Retivol? I've never heard of it, though I have no idea what clothes I'd like, she said shyly, embarrassed as she'd actually never gone shopping for clothes, only getting her mother's hand-me-downs which rarely fit her.

Mairi blushed slightly, though she was very aware that Pyhrra had most likely seen the scars on her body yet hadn't commented on them. That simple fact made her somewhat more confident, though she was still cautious. Is there one large enough to hold both of us? she said with a soft sigh; her father had always said she was 'too curvy' and that 'she drew too many eyes' or she had been called 'slovenly' when in truth, she was very slim for her age, most of her curves being muscle.
