Leeroi grumbled through a closed mouth, almost about to bark something at Guo's comment before the blueblood offered him some mooncakes. "Yeah," Leeroi said, almost sarcastically. Of course he wanted more food. He quickly escaped the hay pile to retrieve the delicious treats from his friend, stuffing one eagerly into his mouth. Smoky, flaky, a little bit burnt, they were the best he had all night!

"These are ******** awesome, Guo!" He said, stuffing another in his mouth, eating it fast because he couldn't breathe with his mouth closed. "Who'd you steal these from, huh?" He asked, smiling at him. There was no way Guo had made these on his own! They were way too good for that to be possible.

"I'll make some for you to try, later," Leeroi offered, turning back to his haystack. "In a bit though, I'm gonna have another go at this thing!"

Leeroi wiped his face, trying to get the last of the snot out of his system. Guo said he looked awful, did he? He kind of wanted to look good for the event... he dressed up and everything! Walking absentmindedly, his attention fell back to the crop bartering stand. The owner was buying tarnips on a 1-to-1 ratio! Leeroi rushed up to them, eager to trade in the vegetables.

Following after, Glitch tapped her kid's head, speaking to him in low bleats. Leeroi pouted, but conceded with her idea. "My lusus wants to take some a' the stuff home, can you, like, jar some of them up for later?" He asked, actually being somewhat polite to the stand owner. Glitch nuzzled his hair for being so well behaved. Thank goodness things weren't turning out like the last social gathering!

Leeroi bumbled back to the community pot next, looking to drop in some more interesting flavors. While he held himself back from putting in another one of his own crops, he was sure to look around for the most delicious ingredient to add to the pot. Maybe another weird looking punkin?

A few peepos caught his eye. They were small, but perhaps they would add some great flavor? Leeroi dumped it in, watching in cook for a moment before running off to his next adventure.

Leeroi laughed, ready and excited to make some more mooncakes, especially for Guo to try. He was going to make the best mooncakes ever, or perhaps, maybe the worst. Either would be entertaining to give to Guo and watch his reaction.

Rolling up his sleeves, Leeroi started to stamp out some mooncakes. It was easy enough once he started going, stamping out each cake perfectly on the first try. "Bet you can't get it that good," Leeroi jabbed, moving on to cook his cakes. Leeroi took them out the second they were finished, excited to give one to Guo to try. "Here!" He offered one out to Guo after barely waiting for them to cool.

Keionx moved on - away - to the mooncake stand, where she bought some less sugary mooncakes and dared to make her own once again. Dared, of course, because it was always daring to cook, she had learned that from her other tries...

And this time, her daring paid off - indeed, she came away with some delightfully nutty cakes for the shopkeeper to sell. They pressed a box of mooncakes on her, and though she initially refused, she accepted in the end.

Pleased at having done her sidequest cooking related heroic duties for the night, Keionx resumed her usual patrol...

In the brief time she had taken for her break, Keionx was pleased to see that nothing untoward (that she could see) had been added to the mix. The twisted-horned troll had certainly been suspicious, but hopefully with Keionx patrolling the pot again, there wouldn't be an opportunity to do anything to the communal food supply. She added a succulent vegetable of her own to the mix and, pleased at the results, returned to her guarding.

At some point during the night, Etsali realized the exchange rates for tarnips had changed back into something pretty good, huh? She'd half decided to just keep all her vegetables for eating, but tickets were pretty fun and this seemed like a safe bet to get plenty. Shuffling over to drop tarnips on the table, she collected her tickets before wandering back.

Another dive into the haystack and a whole lotta nothing coming from the result. Oops. At least she wasn't expecting anything at this point. The cute little button she had gotten the first time was still tucked neatly into her satchel. CD waited on the otherside, and whuffed a happy hello to his little charge. Tenderly he picked the hair out of her hair and pockets, until Treide was ready to roll onto the next event. She gave CD a big hug and smile. Best lusus.
