Cherish smiled at Cameron and shook her head a bit. "I'm telling you both right now, you'd better look after them or I will be kicking both of your butts..." She sighed then. Great - familiars. If she ended up having to take care of them she was going to smack both of their heads together.
Of course she tried her hand at the game herself she managed to score herself a trinket, she draped the necklace over the head over her Vespercat plush and lifted it up.
"At least I don't have to feed and clean up after you, huh?"
"Nope! I want to give them to you." Conan winked when Nott asked him about his prizes. He was getting a kick out of riling Cammy up, and that meant showered Nott with every possible prize he could manage to win. Her hand followed them along as they scoped out the rest of the festivities.
He wasn't particularly interested in the game Nott chose to play, but he cheered for her nonetheless was she won! He was definitely surprised when she turned around and offered the Vespercat to him. Normally he might turn it down, did he really need a familiar? However, it was just the cutest thing and he cooed at it as Nott passed the little darling over to him.
"I'll take good care of them." Her gave Nott a little sideways hug and then kissed the little familiar on it's nose. It certainly didn't mind the affection. Ah, he was so excited. Cammy won one as well, he merely rolled his eyes at Cherish with her sarcastic comments.
"We'll take excellent care of them! You know it!"

With the addition of the second skyfish, Pepper found she didn't want to play a game anymore. The smell of something sweet caught her attention and she wiggled and wormed her way through the crowd to find a booth that had food. Getting up on her tip toes, she peered over the edge of the table to see what it was. To her delight, there were sundaes and funnel cake at that particular booth. Tapping her fingers against her mouth, she debated on what kind to get. So she could think, she stepped to the side to let a couple other nightmares get something.
When a junior got a sundae and she saw how big it was, the demon's eyes widened. That was much too big for just herself! A funnel cake would be smaller right? Deciding that, she got a small cake from the baphomet behind the counter. As she took the plate, the bapho handed her a small bag of candy as well. "Oh, thank you!" she told her cheerfully, pleased with the extra treat.

"Combination of things, color, how wiling they are to move. It's hard to judge in a bag of course, but I would hope the people who selected out these prizes had the foresight to make sure the pets wouldn't die right away." He hoped anyway. It would be quite cruel to give these kids pets and then have them go the way of every other dime store skyfish that allegedly could be won at carnivals around Below that died as soon as you walked away from the stall.
Vaden nodded. "That's fine. I can help you get the water set up for them." he considered. "It's going to depend of whether or not you need one one tank or two...Even then tanks aren't very expensive generally...I can always help you out if necessary." he said with a nod. "It's the filtration system that's probably going to cost you a bit more really..." he said.
He watched Zalir play the next game and decided he'd skip it. He shrugged. "It happens to the best of us eventually." he smiled.
She had finally won something again, a plushie of her choice to be exact! After deciding on a goat, she snuggled it and thanked the vender before moving onto another game. This time it was a simple dart game. She just had to hit one one of the right numbers to get her prize for that number level. As she prepared to throw the dart, she let out a quick sigh to release any bad energy she still had from her issues earlier. Once done, she then threw the dart and tried to get it to land on one of the prize numbers.
“Nasaiki leave some for the freshlings I know you are deprived of most of your plushies but…” Morin rolled his eyes. He didn’t think it was going to stop his girlfriend though. After all only person that seemed to be able to talk Nasai down when she was in this mood, was a certain nightmare he hadn’t seen in forever. “One more? Or at least this necklace… come on Morin its purple. Win it for me” and so of course Morin had to win it. Of course why did she have to pick a bowling one? Luckily he managed to just get a spare and win the necklace.
Well, as they say, try, try, again! Laurel aimed as best he could at the balloons and beamed as one of his throws popped a balloon! Yay! Did popping one win him anything? He looked up to the person behind the counter and watched as he was offered a small lollipop. Hey, it wasn't a plushie, but it was something he liked! He put it in his pocket, aiming to save it for later.

She smiled. She liked to think of it as a noble thing. Art was her passion, and it would always be something she focused on, however it wasn't the same as teaching. Sure art could, and should, make someone feel something but being a teacher was shaping the future in a way.
"They can be a bit much. I joined the mentor program here, hopefully I can get a freshling before I graduate so I can be more prepared." she nodded. She was pretty sure she could handle a room full of freshlings, but she would be lying if she didn't say it terrified her just a bit.
Nott was still grinning from ear to ear from winning, even though her head instinctively ducked when asked about her writing. "Um, nothing really serious... I mean... it's um..." Ugh, well, they'd find out eventually. "...Iwriteromancestories."
Cherish's comment did bring back the amused look though. "If you win one next I'm going to laugh." She teased, adding to Conan. "I have a Salamander, they're kind of fun." Her familiar was at least a comfortable, safe topic. Less embarrassing than her stories. Romances always seemed to -sell- well but admitting that you read or produced them was a different thing entirely.
To take her mind off it, she paused to play a choose-a-duck game, and was pleased and surprised when random chance was in her favor, awarding her an plush, then bit her lip in consideration, peering between it's plush horns as she debated between keeping it and awarding it to Cameron, who had just won a vespercat of her own. Hmmm.

He put his feet up on the empty chair beside him, nodding a little at Sorren's words. Arden was supposed to be here as an advocate for the cache Chimeras, but he hadn't had much luck actually interacting with them. "Hopefully that works out for you," the brunet stated sincerely, stroking his thumbs down his cat's back. "There's plenty of freshlings that could use a good mentor here."
He looked around the room, watching as the others moved about yet. "I'm probably going to run once I get out of here," Arden chuckled. "Well, out of University, but I guess I'm not big on school."
Well, now she was getting another prize, and another plushie as well. This time she decided on a Vespercat one, snuggling both her plushies before doing the two other darts she had left. The other two darts ended up giving her nothing but she was okay with that. Besides, she should get something to eat anyway before heading back to her room for the day. After all that had happened, it probably would be best for her to get going. She had enough worrying for the day, and didn't want to be starred at or laughed at anymore.
Lazarus knew he was late to this event, but who cared? He was here to have some fun and possibly win some prizes! Maybe he could even make a friend while he was walking around? Who knew at this point? Then again, perhaps he was too late to make any friends, but he could for sure win a plushie or something.
Coming to a game stand, he decided to give his luck to this game. It was a spinning wheel, and looked simple enough to him. Once it was his turn, he gave the wheel a good spin, watching as it spun and waited to see what it landed on.
With a small, satisfied burp Pepper leaned back in her seat. That funnel cake had been really good! The small bag of candy was tucked into her pocket for later. There was sure to be a good time to share it or it would make a nice treat later! Her two little skyfish floated around her. She'd offered them some of the cake, but they hadn't eaten any of it. As she sat with her empty plate, she looked around at all the nightmares. There sure were a lot at the event, and they were all mixed up. Pepper was happy to see so many people getting along. She swung her feet a bit as she gave the rest of the party a smile. The new headmistress seemed to be doing a really good job so far!
