well, ******** is no way to make a rally roll of 1 awesome. So he rallies Abel for 1 strength anyway, I guess.

As Alex's body is warped off of the field after being defeated, Abel gulps slowly, but then shakes his head and faces his opponents, sword ready. "It won't be that easy..."
Abel glances at Aruna and trades her his light rune with a nod of understanding.
Even though Paggy seemed to be on the other team's side, Abel would still try his best. Though not terribly effective, the rally was still a rally and it helped bolster Abel's confidence if only just slightly. They would probably lose this fight, but they'll get a few hits in first! Abel gives Kira a menacingly serious look. "Let's see if this works..."
Abel attacks Kira, attempting to land a critical hit. It's effective, doing [(6 + 5 + 1) - 4] x3 = 24 damage, defeating her.
Abel smirks, then gets a big, dopey smile and rubs the back of his head. "One down, heh heh!" Maybe Paggy liked them, too.
Aruna curtsies, as best as someone without legs could, to Abel after receiving the light rune. Moving to space B98 she then sets her eyes on Ziaram now that Kira had been warped off the field.
"I'm afraid I have to stop you right there, cutie. No hard feelings 'kay?" The cleric gave the young man a flirty wink just as she uses the light rune on space A98.

It was a shame his crew lost Alex for a while, but they at least managed to take out one of the more dangerous opponents to compensate for it. Your defeat wasn't in vain, Alex.
Rhys stood there as he watched his comrade Kira fall .Thanks for everything Kira... Rhys started to feel afraid of what was going to become of him and his friends. Ziaram was trapped by the enemy female cleric's binding light spell,and Vika is god knows where at this point.
Only Rhys and Shinon remained side by side. Rhys turned over to Shinon and said " So it looks like we're the only ones left..." He then began to smile sadly. "I wish Titania was here she'd know what to do or even commander Ike..." He turned away."We'd better retreat for now since I really haven't a clue what else to do. Rhys's face was grim as if he suddenly lost all hope.
Dramatic music begans to play as Rhys walks over slowly to space A48.
"Quit being so dramatic, it's not as if this is a life or death battle, Rhys. We've personally seen worse. Bah, don't even start mentioning those two." Shinon grumbled as he sauntered backwards after Rhys, but coming to a stop at A62 and rolled his eyes, calling after the healer, "You're a priest; aren't you supposed to be spewing hope and faith here? Pathetic..."
Deciding it was now or never to act and see whether or not he could buy more time and bolster a better defense, Shinon uses the Second Seal in his possession. "Hmph, this had better work..."
'Something that's not one of those bloody feathered horses, preferably.'
