Dexurn Post 2

Dexurn was at an utter loss. He didn't know what to do with himself. Having been at that initial discussion, he'd been pulled along with the crowd. Despite a few attempts to slip out, he was now at in the mix of things. Unable to put up with sitting still during so much activity, he tried to do what he could to help away from the front lines. Fighting wasn't for him, but he could certainly run around and do what others told him to!

It was oddly comforting, actually. Felt like being a slave again. He knew how to be a slave. Though, if he did something wrong, he figured he wouldn't be beaten! That was a comforting thought, as well.

As he was, he was carrying a few sharpening stones to a designated tent. He hadn't been told who wanted them, just which tent. Balancing a few of them with one arm, he pulled aside the tent flap and peeked in, feeling his nerves jump a little. Weapons all over the place! Weapons gave him goosebumps... "Umm, hello?" he called cautiously, holding the stones in front of himself now in a protective manner.

Xariy Post 14

Having taken out a few Alkidike women so far, she was curious to see just what else was going on. Trying her best to stay fairly stealthy, the Oban woman made her way around the crowd looking for anyone in need of assistance on their side. She would willingly fight whatever was needed, but simply staying in one place wasn't enough for her. She needed to move around the field and work off some energy! Perhaps head to the back of the crowd and incapacitate a few from there.

Kani Post 15

After her last screw up Kani was a bit nervous to continue attacking. She didn't want to accidently hit anyone with her misfired spells, or draw any unwelcome attention to herself. She knew if Aza was there she would be scolding her so badly for giving up like this. She just wanted to do things correctly though!

Dezani Post 15

With Raiha helping him, the young leaf man felt a lot better equipped to fight the Alkidike women. He was willing and able to protect those around him, and if they got too close to the healing tents he would be sure to stand between the Alkidike and the healers. He was concerned about their chances, but things were going okay so far. He could really only hope they continued on that way.

Eziya Post 15

Some of the earthlings had already started to filter into the tents because of the onslaught of the Alkidike. It wasn't too bad as of yet, but she knew it would get that way soon enough if it continued. She hadn't spotted anyone she knew come through yet, so she could only hope they were still doing well on the field and not in serious trouble.

"I'm worried about everyone," she muttered to her ice friend, preparing some bandages in case some had only minor injuries. Her hands were shaking she was so nervous, and she couldn't keep them straight. She wasn't going to be able to work like this!

Ruelash's eyes lit up a little in delight as the Alkidike Mystic dodged him flawlessly and even managed to zap him with her weapon. He avoided the trip, but the sparks leapt from it to him – a perfect retaliation.

Good.

That meant that this fight would actually be worth his time – it would be such a shame to have it over in a single attack, not that he wasn't the sort to draw out a kill. Her taunts almost made him laugh, though he normally didn't pay much attention to such things, and he had just settled in to enjoy the fight when she decided to ignore him. Completely. His face soured – that was horribly rude of her. He should teach her a lesson in fight 'etiquette', such as it was.

”Oi!” he shouted at the Mystic, darting in to stab her in the back like she deserved, ”I'm over 'ere, brat...!” He quickly aborted his attack and sidestepped to avoid a bladed attack. They scored the hide of his coat, leaving marks that he'd have to patch up later, though he didn't care about them now. What he did care about were the two brats that had decided to interfere.

”Outta my way.” he said, leering at them. Ruelash was a lot of things, but he did not hurt little girls... usually. When he could help it.

And then one of them screamed and charged him, making it one of those rare situations when he did. ”Back off, brat.” he said, giving her a cursory attack with his blades. He didn't remember what he had done to this one, but she probably wasn't going to be much of a fight and he just wanted to get her and her buddy out of the way so he could show that Mystic a real fight.

Eije Post 12

For the start of a war, this was going relatively well. Even though she and Zumei were prentices, they were holding their own. It wasn’t long before an alkidike, one Eije believed to be a prentice herself, crossed swords with her. The practice was definitely well worth it as they went at it.

Hearing a squeak, Eije took a small glance away to make sure her friends were okay as the other prentice took a swipe at her. She knew her mistake, even before she saw a small swell of blood across her hand. Holding back any sort of expression, the iceling lunged at the prentice. As long as she could hold her swords, that moment was the only victory that alk was going to see. Time to make her father proud!





Wyome Post 12

“Sounds good, then I’ll man the bandages,” she said as she started to make her small mountain in her arms. They really were prepared for the worst, though it was much better than being caught without the needed supplies.

Glancing up from her mound, she canted her head, unable to really inspect it with her arms full. “Uhm, maybe to help keep wounds together?” She didn’t have a single clue as to what gook could be what, but that had to be something, right? Considering her health had never been a concern, she didn’t really know her way around a healer’s tent. The healer took a glance, shaking their head with a small smile. “Or how about something to lessen pain?”





Jawaad Post 9

Well, this was the best vantage point that she could get, but she wasn’t going to go arrows blazing in the middle of the fray. That was her brother’s thing, not hers. So far, she had avoided being stabbed, which was a positive. So many things to look forward to.

Though she had missed the mystic’s attack, Rue seemed to be still standing and that’s what mattered. With two more Alkidikes protecting their mystic, Jawaad glared daggers at them as she prepared her stance, grabbing one of the arrows that she had made. Today would be a good day to test them out, right?

Quickly drawing back, she aimed for what she assumed to be prentices, at least by looking at the makeshift weapons. If she could get them away from Ruelash, then he could focus on the mystic that caused all of this. She released, aiming for the one who didn’t charge immediately. Hopefully they took the warning.



Careele Post 7

Dragging a pissed off radaku was the last thing that Careele thought he would be doing when he made his way to Sauti. He never would have expected this, but there was no helping that now. With a frown, Careele slipped into a healer's tent. It was close to the battle, but he didn't have much of a choice.

Siern growled low in his throat, blood running down his leg. He was lucky that the arrow had barely penetrated, but it had to hurt. The shifter wasn't going to let his friend suffer out there when he needed that would cleaned.

"It would be," he agreed. "So I guess if we make it out of here unharmed we'll be fighting some more?" Alek smiled shakily. "Maybe Zuri will be less concerned once we've proven we aren't sitting ducks."

While it didn't solve the problem of exactly which weapon Kayin might find affinity with, at least she seemed interested in trying to find out. Realizing that he was slacking in the work department, Alek doubled his efforts to help clean up, even though the injured were arriving at a slow trickle.

Dexurn Post 3

Shifting nervously on his feet, his head snapped up when the surprisingly friendly voice called out. "Y-you're welcome." His eyes turned to the pink crystals dotting along the woman. Different than the gems he was used to seeing on the Oban kind... Sit and rest?

Eyes dropping, he shook his head. "I'm.. not a fighter. And... don't need rest. ..Thank you. I'm just helping where I can..." He looked around at the dangerous weapons again, and held out the stones away from his chest to the woman. "Do.. you need help with anything?"

The outcries of rage and anger and now agony raced through the air as both sides began to tear each other down. Some fell in battle, others just wounded rushed to the healing tents. The Alkidike mob that had formed wasn't going down without a fight, they were doing anything they could to get through the swarm of earthlings - and even their own Sisters - to defend themselves and push into Sauti. They swore that whomever had struck that first blow would pay.

While those in the front lines continued to fight, the healing tents began to fill rapidly. They needed fast medicine! They needed things that could be slapped on and rushed out the door to more fighting, and those who were beyond helping were being nursed by those who could manage to provide longer attention to them.

The earthlings were having a tough time against the trained warriors of the Alkidike, but it didn't seem like it was a lost cause yet. There were still more than enough earthlings left to fight yet.
