My friend had showed me a Shonen-Ai manga (La Esperanca actually) that her friend had lent her to read. I was kinda erked at the whole Guy-2-Guy romance but once I read it I was completely amazed and I ended up being hooked ever since. biggrin

I stubbled on Gravitation because it was on Anime Network and I been a BL fan ever since.

What got me into yaoi was mostly the art...When i bought one i didnt know what i was getting into. and the love between 2 men is a bit more interesting than a woman and a man. Pictures like this drew my attentin and it seemed to be more beautiful than a man and woman together i dont understand why...

what got me into it was my best friend, she was told about it by are anime club and then she pasted it onto me

I had been reading a gundam wing fanfic a while back and didn't notice that it was a yaoi fic until the middle then relised i couldent stop reading

A few months ago, I was reading lots and lots of Naruto fics. (I hate it now.) Then I was like, "What's this 'yaoi' thing?" Searched it, and tada. -_- I got into yaoi! XD =D

My buddy "_Boxers_" got me into it a while ago through pictures..then I eventually started watching some anime with Shounen-ai in it and I started liking it alot more until now where I love it.

You girls are poisonous!! *points accusingly* (no, dont get angry.i have a reason (and a right) to say that)
anyway, it was a girl friend who introduced me to it. Years, ago, when Cardcaptor Sakura is kind of newly released, she told me she discovered something. I took the paper she wants me to read to shut her up. I read it after i got home. my eyes literally bugged out and i go WTF!!!!!!! but strange thing is, i continue to read. except for the smut part sweatdrop my eyes started gloss out whenever i pass over the part where they have sex.
then... she and another female friend always talk about it in front of me that i get used to it. I initially got attracted to the beautiful characters and I dont really mind boyxboy love so i tolerated them. I forgot about it when we got separated and years after, another female friend made me watch gravitation. Then we got on the Naruto hype and they are fangirling over things and I found myself actually thinking 'they're not bad... hot even" *rolls eyes* so i started digging out yaoi things that has been given to me before (that i ignore for years) then i discovered that a member of my indie manga group likes the genre and she fangirl with me.

I was always into manga and love stories. So I'd read Romance manga a lot, then my friend Kara gave me a Yaoi book and it went from there!
