"Uh-oh, look who Kate's with~" Ryan sang to Nick, which caused him to raise his head and look in the direction he was pointing. No way. He was taking her on a date here? Nicholas gave a light shrug of his shoulders as if he didn't care. "So?" He began to walk away, though Ryan caught up to him quickly. "What do you mean 'so'? I see the way you look at her. You're jealous and in love." The way he said the word almost made Nick squirm. He wasn't in love with Kate... he just had very strong feelings for her and wanted to punch Pukas in the face every time he caught him looking at her. Before he could reply to Ryan's remark, he was off serving tables in his area of the floor.
Since it was Danielle's area of the floor that Kate was sitting at, she strode over and stopped beside their table. She smiled her signature smile, all teeth and shiny eyes. She held her small square note pad out and a pen, ready to take orders. "Hey guys, I'm Danielle and I'll be your waitress tonight. Can I start you out with any drinks?" She politely asked, waiting for their responses. She looked between the pair, smiling as she did so.
Nick, in the mean time, was leaning forward against the counter watching the three from afar. He stroked his beard absent-mindedly, wondering just how rude Luke could be. Especially after some of the stories that Kate had shared with him the other day.

  `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´ `•.¸♥ Kate and Luke spoke with each other until Danielle stopped beside their table and asked if they would like to start with a couple of drinks."Hey Daniel-" Before Kate could say her name,Luke started to talk."Bring us some lemonade with extra lemon and by extra lemon we mean,enough for our water and then some more." He said in a snobby way,Kate turned her attention to Luke. No way,he's acting like this even here! How embarrassing,she stayed silent and just looked at Danielle with a sorry expression,that's what she doesn't like about Luke and also one of the reason she refused to go on dates with him."And don't forget the salad." He said before leaning against his seat."Danielle can you please bring me some vanilla milkshake?" She asked but then Luke leaned closer to them."Honey,you don't need milkshake.I don't want you to be more fat." He said as he glanced at Kate's stomach then looked back at the waitress,Kate just frowned.He was embarrassing her! She stayed silent and then kicked his leg under the table,causing Luke to let out a small yelp."I would like some vanilla milkshake." She forced a smile to look before looking at Danielle with a softer expression.♥ ¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´

Danielle stood there awkwardly between the two, noting their orders as she glanced between them. "Right away." The blonde put on her best fake smile before she turned on her heels and walked over to Nick with a crazed look in her eyes. "You're going to have to drop off their food... that a*****e is driving me up the wall." She muttered, sticking the order with the rest of them as she leaned against the counter. "Why? What happened?" Nick asked. "He just had this snobby attitude when he spoke and not to mention he called Kate fat--" That did it. Nick hopped over the counter and pointed directly at Luke as he took long strides toward them. "You little s**t!" He yelled, pushing chairs out of his way as he neared their small booth. Luckily, Joseph and a few others caught up to him before Luke could s**t himself. "Not here, dude..." Joseph said calmly, giving Nick a light pat on the shoulder as he drew him way from the table. The man pushed his hands through his hair once he was in the kitchen, livid.
Sooner than later, however, he came back out completely refreshed with Luke's salad and Kate's vanilla shake. "Here ya go. Danielle isn't feeling too well so I thought I'd bring your food out for you instead." He slid Luke's dish onto the table and set Kate's vanilla shake in front of her with a charming wink. Today, Nick looked kinda bummy but it suit him. He wore a pair of dark blue jeans, black converse, and a white sleeveless top. "Now, for the main course?" Nicholas raised his eyebrows questioningly and put on his best fake smile as he looked between the two. His little writing pad and his pen were in his hands prepared to take their order.

She was pissed off,people knew her here yet Luke was embarrassing her. It was like the second time that he mentioned things about being fat and that she should eat more healthy,it seriously ticked her off.Luke's and Kate's attention turned to Nick when he yelled and headed towards them,Kate was about to get up and stop him but luckily Joseph and the others stopped him.This day was awful..it's the last time she will go on a date with someone."What a punk.." Luke rolled his eyes and tapped his fingers on the counter,waiting for his food."You know that you can't tell me what to eat." Kate decided to talk with him about it,maybe he could understand her."I must tell you, I mean..You eat a lot and one day you can be fat and ugly..I'm just worried about you." He said softly but Kate got angry,she got up becuase she wanted to leave the date but Luke grabbed her hand and sat her back down onto the chair."Look..I'm sorry,please stay." He used his adorable face again."Fine.." Kate sighed as she sat back down,crossing her arms under her chest.
After some time Nick walked to their table,holding the salad and the vanilla shake.Luke stared at the salad for a moment before he raised his head to look at Nick."Hey punk,what about my lemonade? I ordered some lemonade with extra lemon." He started to speak rudely again."Luke!" Kate didn't want Luke to speak like that to Nick because he was the owner of the bar,sadly Luke had no idea."Now. Go bring the lemonade with the extra lemon and the steak meal.What are you waiting? Come on,get to work." Luke brushed his hand through his hair,acting like a total a*****e! Kate sat there,embarrassed and ashamed. "I'm not hungry,thank you." Kate said as she lowered her head slightly,hoping that Nick won't lose it.♥ ¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´

God, this guy had some nerve. Though, as angry as he was, it didn't show even a bit. He stood there scribbling down his orders and when it came time for Kate to order, she didn't order anything. "That's fine," he said. Nick looked back to Lucas and put on his best prize winning smile. What a prissy little b***h, ordering lemonade with extra lemons. "Sir, I sincerely apologize... I'm going to get this fixed for you right away and your lemonade with extra lemons should be out shortly..." And with a nod of his head and a mischievous smile toward Kate, the man was on his way back into the kitchen. "Gentlemen!" He called, sticking their order to the counter. "We have our first official a*****e of the day..." A girl named Riley put her hands on her hips, sighing. "Oh come on guys, he wasn't that bad was he?" She asked, which causes Nick to look to Danielle for the okay. "Well Danielle it's your your table... you decide." He stuck his thumb out sideways and the kitchen crew did the same. After looking at their anxious faces, she uncrossed her arms from her chest and shoved her thumb downward. "He was a ******** dickwad and called one of our soldiers names. Do it!" They all gave a thumbs down and went to work on his steak with mashed potatoes immediately. Danielle, in the mean time, had brought out his lemonade with extra lemons.

Kate raised her head to look at Nick and noticed that he had a mischievous smile on his face,she squinted her eyes a little bit. Somehow she had a feeling that Nick is up to something,something bad. She decided to stay quiet and just leaned her back against the seat.Kate looked at Nick until he was gone then she turned her attention to Luke who was on his phone."Luke,we're on a date..Could you put the phone aside?" She asked nicely,after all he was the one who asked her for a date so why was he acting like a total jerk? "Just a second babe,it's important."He said as he kept typing in his phone,causing Kate to roll her eyes and cross her legs.♥ ¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´

Luke's medium cooked steak wish mashed potatoes was ready and waiting to be ruined. "First thing we're gonna do is add a little extra gravy to the mashed potatoes," said Nick before Ryan hocked a loogie right into the mashed potatoes, mixing it around with his forefinger a little bit. Nicholas stood there with his hands on his hips and a smile on his lips, giving his back a small pat. "Ah, that's it! Good job, buddy. Good job." Ryan slid the plate down the counter to Joseph. "Followed by a thin spread of cheese for the garlic bread..." He took the garlic bread and stuck it down his pants, rubbing it all over his junk. "Fresh from the taint. We like this. Good." Then he placed it beside the steak and slid it down the counter again. Nick clasped his hands behind his back. "Up next! Next thing we're going to do is--"
"Yeah! How about some guacamole for the steak?!" One bursted, pressing one of his nostrils before he bent over the plate and almost blew out a booger, when Nick placed a hand on his shoulder. "Woah woah woah. What are you doing? Come on, man, you can't be mixing Mexican and continental! I thought you knew better than that." He looked at Nick for a moment before smiling and clapping his hands "Alright! How about a little garlic salt?" He bent his head and started scratching it furiously, dandruff falling from his hair like snow directly onto the steak. "Haha! That's what I'm talking about!" Nick gave his shoulder a shake as he took the plate into his own hands, looking around at his crew. He couldn't help but smile. They all stared back at him with anxious eyes, waiting for his move. Nick couldn't help but snicker to himself as he rubbed his hands together mischievously. "Finally..." he unbuttoned his jeans and stuck his hand down his pants and plucked out a few pubic hairs, laying them nicely across the potatoes "a garnish." He finished.
As he took the plate into his hand, Danielle gave him a peck on the cheek and Nick winked in response. He forgot to button up his jeans though it was hardly noticeable. He walked back out through the maze of tables to get to their booth on the far side of the restaurant. "Here ya go, sir." Nick slid the plate onto the table in front of Luke, his smile charming and kind. "I had the chefs take extra special care of it for you," he promised. He looked over at Kate and smiled just the same. "Are you enjoying your milkshake, Katie-Cakes?" He asked. Nick had mixed it for her, making sure to throw some chocolate fudge into it as well.

`•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´ `•.¸♥ While Luke was busy with his phone,Kate sipped her milkshake quietly. She placed her hand under her chin and sipped it,looking around the bar. She was upset because she thought that Luke will change his behavior just like he told her a few days ago but he was a jerk,plus he was rude to her. What happened to the nice guy she met on the first day? After thinking about it a little bit,she realized that Luke probably just acted nice so he could go on dates with her and probably sleep with her.Just like she thought,her love life sucks! At least the milkshake was delicious,the milkshake made her feel better.
Soon,she could see Nick walking to their table with his chaming smile. It was strange to see him like that,usually he wasn't nice to mean people so..As he walked towards them,Kate noticed that his jeans was unbuttoned. It wasn't like this before,just like she thought.He was planning something. Kate leaned in slightly to look at Luke's meal because she turned her head away,she wanted to laugh so badly but she held herself and stayed silent.Smiling as she bit her lower lip."Enjoy your meal Luke." She smiled nicely then looked up at Nick with a happy expression."Yes, it's really delicious. Thank you..Nick." This time Kate didn't thank him for the milkshake,she thanked him for ruining Luke's meal."Finally,it took you forever to make it!." Luke answered and quickly took a bite of the potatoes,Kate looked away and covered her mouth slightly.She couldn't belive that he was eating it,how gross! But he deserve it.♥ ¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´

Nick's smile broadened when Kate said that she was enjoying the milkshake. "Well, it is my speciality." He looked over to see Luke eating the potatoes as if it were his last meal. "And so are the potatoes.." he added with a faint smirk, raising his hand to his mouth when he saw some of Ryan's snot filled spit dribble from the fork onto the plate. He puffed out his cheeks a little as he exhaled, feeling completely disgusted. "Alright, then... enjoy." With a nod and a thin smile, the man walked off toward the bar where his crew was waiting for him. "He ******** loves the potatoes!" Nick exclaimed, though not loud enough for Luke and Kate to hear. Ryan high-fived him and pulled him into a bro hug, his smile big and triumphant. No one was allowed to treat Kate like dirt in his books - especially not Lucas.

Couldn't he feel the disgusting things the crew placed there? Kate just looked away while he ate,she felt like puking.She just had to cover her mouth with her hand slightly to stop herself from puking."Is it tasty?" She asked,taking her phone out to check the time."Hmm..It's fine.By the way,why did he called you Katie-Cakes?" Luke asked after taking a bite from the steak."He's a friend of mine." Kate said with a proud smile,knowing it made Luke feel angry.
After some time he finished the meal and moved closer to Kate with the chair."Well this bar isn't so bad,is it?" He asked with a smile but Kate just leaned away."Yeah.." She tried to look away because he had a few strands of hair stuck between his teeth. "Gross!" Kate said before she covered her mouth quickly."What did you say?" He asked as he leaned closer."N-Nothing,this bar is the best." She smiled back then looked away."Oh come on Katey,I took you to dates..I paid for everything..You know I deserve a reward." He winked at her as he leaned even closer but Kate leaned away and away."Give me a kiss." Luke said with a charming smile but Kate shook her head."No." Sadly,Luke didn't listen to her! He closed his eyes and leaned closer to her lips."Luke stop it!"Kate leaned away from him until she chair lost the balance and fell down. Kate's head hit the ground as she fell onto the floor,letting out a surprised yelp."Oh my god Kate,get up you're embarrassing me!" Luke quickly got up and looked down at her,not even bothering to help her. Kate rubbed the back of her head as she slowly got up."Ouch.." Nicholas was washing his hands when he heard a yelp followed by a chair hitting the floor. He quickly shook his hands dry before wiping them on his jeans as he made his way over to the table, seeing Kate lying on the floor. "You're the one with hair stuck in your teeth..." he muttered lowly as he helped her to her feet, placing a hand on the small of her back once she stood upright. "What?!" Luke blurted with narrowed eyes, starting to pick the thick hair out of his two front teeth. "Pube hair, specifically..." he added, groping himself with his free hand. "You... your.." he stuttered, suddenly at loss for words. "Think of it as a kind of payback for stealing my girlfriend back in grade eleven." He locked their gaze as he said that and Luke's blue eyes widened in realization as he uttered, "Nick..?" He nodded his head, lips pressed together. Suddenly, Luke's eyes went panicky as his eyes twitched between Nick and Kate. "Yeah. Not so macho now, are you?" The corner of his mouth curled into an amused smirk as he looked to the man who looked as terrified as ever. Lucas was a really big guy back in high school, and still was to this day... though Nick had grown to be even bigger and taller. He was a small guy back in high school. Picked on nearly every day because of it. Suddenly, Lucas booked it out of the restaurant accidentally pushing Kate right into Nick's arms as he did so.

Before she could even stand up and yell at Luke,Nick walked over to the table and helped her to get up. Kate stood up on her feet and stayed close to Nick,frowning as she looked at Luke. Kate raised her head up when Nick mentioned the thing about his girlfriend in eleven grade,so Luke was the one who stole his girlfriend? No wonder he wasn't supporting her,Nick tried to warn her but she just wouldn't listen to him.Kate stayed silent until she was pushed by Luke."Hey!" She frowned but fell right into Nick's arms,slowly she raised her head up and took a few steps away from Nick."You were right..He's a total jerk.." She admitted,sighing softly because she felt stupid for not listening to him."Thank you for helping me."Her lips curled into a small gentle smile as she looked into his bright eyes.♥ ¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´

Nick slid his hands into the pockets of his jeans locking his gaze with hers. Kate thanked him for helping her and he smiled a little. "You're welcome," he said. He moved forward and placed a hand on her cheek, looking deeply into her beautiful blues. "Don't listen to anything he said, okay? You're perfect," he said softly. With a warm close-mouthed smile, the man walked past her toward the bar area to resume working. He had completed his paperwork during the past few days so right now he was merely helping his employees move things along. Ryan made a heart shape with his hands and had a dazed look in his eyes as he mouthed the word 'love', making him refrain a smile. Nicholas gave him a playful shove out of his way which made Ryan chuckle and give his back a couple pats before he resumed mixing and shaking.

She felt happy again,she knew that Nick was telling the truth. Her cheeks blushed a little bit as she looked at Nick until he walked past her towards the bar area,she glanced back to the table that was a bit messy and decided to clean it. She didn't want to go home so she decided to just help a little,Kate also had to tell Frankie about everything that happened to her. She called him and asked him if he can come to the bar,luckily he agreed and said that he's on his way.
Kate helped around and cleaned the tables until Frankie entered into the bar."Frankie!" She called happily before she ran to him and hugged him tightly,Frankie hugged her back and spinned her a little bit."Kate! It's been such a long time! How are you?" He asked as he let go of her. "So many things happened..I got tricked again but someone really nice helped me." She said as she smiled gently."Aww..Don't worry Kate,I'm sure he was an a*****e." Frankie said before they sat down at the table and started to talk to each other,Kate explained him everything. Frankie was the first person that Kate got along with,he's like a brother to her so she tells him everything.♥ ¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´

Later on that night, mostly everyone was crowding the stage waiting for the band to start playing. Unfortunately, the drummer drank too much and was therefore unable to play. A band was nothing without their drummer, so the lead singer walked up to the mic and asked if anyone was willing to play. Nick instantly lowered his head and was about to walk away from his buddies when Samuel grabbed his arm and threw it up into the air. "Nick volunteers!" He bursted, causing everyone in the room to start cheering and patting his back ushering him up onto the stage. Nick used to be in a band with Sam back in high school and he was obviously the drummer, but he was always self conscious when it came to performing in front of large crowds. He got serious stage fright. Nonetheless, Nick hopped up onto the stage and pulled his shirt off, messing his hair up in the back.
"Oh my god he took off his shirt," Frankie breathed, holding his face with his hands. "Jesus Christ he is PERFECT, he exclaimed excitedly. He stood up and began to clap his hands and holler just like everyone else, a big grin stretched across his face.
Nick swallowed the lump in his throat and walked over to the drum set, sat down on the stool, and took the drum sticks into his hands. "Thanks so much, man." The lead singer said, making Nick nod his head with a nervous smile. "Alright, guys! First song we'll be covering is one of my personal favourites. This is 21 Guns by Green Day!" His gaze twitched around the crowd and they all looked at stared at him expectantly, cheering and clapping. And without another moments hesitation, Nick signalled that he was ready and they began to play.
