Evelyn snickered. "This is where the bartering goes down." She opened up the small leather slip. "They add up how much the meal costs, write it down and I put however much I need to pay for it in there." She nodded. "Sometimes we leave tips too. But I'm a b***h, so I'm not going to." She giggled and placed the money inside before standing up. "This is a good restaurant, so they'll give those leftovers to people on the street. But not all the restaurants around here are like that. They just throw excess food away a lot of the time." She shrugged. "Right, where we off to now?"

*He shrugged, "I... somewhat see... but that pparchment..." he pulled the stack from his pocket out, "this stuff? It has value?" He was starting to get it as he noticed someone looking and held I close like his baby, before putting it away, "nevermind I got the answer from the looks of the others around." He shrugged as he followed her, "I will obviously go where ever it is you will take me. I need to learn all that I can to be accustom to this forsacon... for.... this place." The wine was starting to finally take a bit of effect. She may have noticed he was... more twitchy then he was before. He was posh, stood straight, and always looked daring, now... he was relaxed a bit, sholders slumped slightly, a little less posh then before, but he wasn't drunk yet, just barley on the line of it actually effecting him. Estimated it would take another bottle or so for whatever Evelyn was going for. He walked closer to her now, looking around carefully, instead of allover the place like before. But he held all questions to himself, he figured she would show him in time to come. He did make a note however out loud, "I see it's approaching darkness... it's much colder out then before." He was missing his coat... he was too used to warring some sort of coat. He was trying to bare through it though.

As they walked through town Evelyn looked up to the sky, happier now that there were less people around. "I prefer night so much better." She looked back to him. "You cold?" She looked ahead once more. "We could go back home and find you some more clothes if you want. I'm sure there's leftover clothing. Or alternatively we could go and buy you something to cover yourself with." She spun on her heel to face him. "Your choice." She tilted her head. "And if you want we can get some more of that 'special juice'. They sell it everywhere here." She rose an eyebrow to him.

He thought about itlooking down at her, he was slightly taller, "wine is a commen drink then? Vary well it would be nice to some, I have quiet a thrust. Must be my lack of needing anything for a while I was within yuji. As for the clothing..." he nodded looking to the side, "I rather not ware anothers clothing... if there is some to trade for then I shall do that." That ment they were going shopping. "however I know not the current... way people ware there clothing... there are so many types here... it conffusses me. Perhaps you can help choose some for me to better fit into these surroundings?" He asked. He was becoming quiet leanant like a child wanting the teacher to show him just about everything. So now Evelyn was to choose a look for him too, surely there were two ways that could go...

Evelyn nodded as she turned again to lead him to a store that looked quite expensive. "Well if we're going to buy you clothes we might as well go all out." She looked back to him with a grin. "If you have a hope in world at looking as cool as I do." She winked before she started to rummage through all of the clothes. "You go wait in the changing rooms over there, I'll bring you a few outfits over when I've found something. Afterwards we'll get that drink." She pointed as she then lost herself in a massive array of shirts and jeans.

*He blinked. Changing rooms? So that ment people actually had an over abundance of clothing, not whatever scraps they could get there hands on. This... was a good thing he figured. It would defiantly mean that society was more prepared and furbished. He sat on the bend she directed him too and waited. He just seemed to be staring into space still somewhat straight and posh, but not as bad as before. he was more relaxed. he didn't mind waiting, there was a nice smell in this place too. It was at this point he relized that a new coat was nice and all, but all his gear was gone. His scrolls, his summoning stones... all of it. He would have to start over... damn that yuji.

Around ten minutes later Evelyn soon came over and dumped a pile of clothes next to her. Noticeably it was all dark clothing, being she was never the type to wear bright or colourful clothing at all. "I think I got some good stuff." She scratched the back of her neck. "Well I started off with looking for a jacket for you.. but then ended up getting you a whole outfit." She looked to the pile. "Might have gone a little overboard.. sorry..." This was a side to Evelyn that no one had ever really seen before, other than maybe Colin. This Evelyn was almost normal, more considerate to other people's feelings. While at the same time she was cynical and sarcastic, she had room to be empathetic and almost shameful. Point was, she was letting her guards down to a person she hardly knew, and that was probably part of the novelty. She felt she could be comfortable with this guy, although it was probably a mixture of the wine too. She held up a black shirt, dark jeans and a black jacket with a furred hood. "I wasn't sure whether you'd look better as a thug.." She snickered. "Or whatever the hell this is.." She held up a trench coat in her other hand.

He pointed to the trench coat, "I like that... looks better then what I used to ware..." It was a dark blush-green color. He took it and slipped it on, "hmmmm... fits perfect too." He nodded to her, "thank you Evelyn." He reached down and inspected the other clothing. "Vary well I will put these one my person..." he turned to the stalls. He watched people use them and figured he would do the same. Moments later he came out dressed in the new ware, and the bundle of older clothing under his arm. Now he looked better then when in yujis coat, almost like it was a original perfict look for him. He nodded, "it seems you know me better then I had." he complimented. "have you already traded?" He asked unsure how else to show his graditude from saying thankyou. He didn't understand emotion, he never knew what sadness was, or anger. He didn't know what love was, or even the aspects of it. Just that seriousness, the "everything is just as it will be." sort of attude. But already he was breaking, Evelyn got him to frown a few times, and he almost smiled... twice... but still so he was serious. Maybe it was the wine, but he wouldn't know that either, he did know they were about to have more...

Evelyn nodded and tilted her head. "You look good. Those new clothes really suit you." She nodded as she then turned to leave. Did she just compliment him? That wasn't at all like her. "Now lets go get that wine!" She said enthusiastically as she walked into a nearby liquor store to find Hana, also purchasing some alcohol. She giggled. "Out on a date are we?" Evelyn scowled. "No. I'm just showing him around. Plus we're stuck together because of this binding thing someone put on us. We can't get several feet away from each other before being flung back." Hana rose an eyebrow. "Oh?" She took a brief look to Ruji then back to Evelyn. "Looks like a date to me."

Ruji blinked, "what is a date?" He asked looking to Evelyn unsure of the term or the person she was speaking too. But he did remember this girl from the event hours ago, "you are that wolf shapshifter." he replied recalling hanna and holding out a hand, "I believe the custom in this time zone, at least of what I had learned from yuji is to, shake hands with new aqintences..." okay maybe the wine was taking alittle effect. But he was trying to be on hana''s good side. Surly she would see straight through it all however.

Hana giggled as she took his hand gratefully and shook it. "A pleasure. My name's Hana." Evelyn sighed. "She's one of Yuji's kids, but she's nothing like him." Hana rose an eyebrow. "And let it stay that way." She looked to Ruji. "A date is something two people go on when they like each other, so they can bond over something." Evelyn scowled. "This isn't a date. We're stuck together." Hana snickered. "Did you go out to eat?" Evelyn frowned. "Yes.. but that's only because he was hungry." Hana tilted her head. "I saw you go into that store together too." Evlyn shook her head. "Necessity. He needed new clothes." Han giggled as she took her alcohol off the counter. "It's so a date~"

Ruji was quiet as Hana was seeming to challenge evelyn... or so it seemed to him. Evelyn was starting to yell, this defently had to be a challenge of some sort, was he to intervein? So a date was something when two 'bonded' whatever that ment. Perhaps she ment make allies between people. Yes that had to be it, would make sense to him. But he didn't understand why Evleyn was now saying it wasn't this 'date'. This world was vary confusing. "I belive we came here to trade for some of that "wine" he replied simply reminding Evelyn to stay on track.

Evelyn nodded with a sigh. "Yeah, lets get to it." Hana snickered nudging Evelyn in the side. "Oh? Getting some wine? Planning on getting him drunk then?" She looked to Ruji. "He already looks drunk to be honest." Evelyn shrugged. "Some people can't hold their liquor." She quickly went to go and find some wine as Hana looked to Ruji. "She's a difficult one sometimes, she has a pretty hard outer shell and won't let anyone see what she's really like." She shrugged. "Who knows, now that you're going to be around her all the time maybe you'll get to see that side of her." She grinned. "Have fun~" She quickly left the store.

He rose a brow, hadn't he already seen that side of Evelyn? He thought he had in the store only a few minets before. Liquor? Drunk? God have be these words were gong to really hunt him, he didn't like the feeling of not knowing what words meant what. Perhaps when he could find the time, he would acquires some notes of the current language... it would defiantly help him. Now standing there alone in the store, at least where he stood he began to wonder a little. Looking for clues on things. There were many types of this Wine it seemed. Even in small bottles that read, "bud light" hmmmm confusing light in a bottle. The fucher was full of interesting things. He noticed a bow next to the register with some stick things, cigars. Interesting. Okay he got it now, this was where their drink supply came from, and these small stick things were some sort of starring stick perhaps like a cinnamon stick.

Evelyn soon came back over with another bottle of wine as she put it on the counter to pay. "I got the best stuff they had." She paid for it and picked it up again to show Ruji with a smile. "We better drink it back at home though, can't really drink this out in public." She nodded. "Also, what did Hana say to you? I don't really like her that much, she stirs up things a lot in the family, she's like a mini Amelie."
