She smiled, eyes still closed, and tightened her hold around him. "And you're perfect for me." She purred out, happy to be reminded of just how true the statement was. The class started up again, and she listened to the instructions. Her eyes opened when he tugged her, but there was so much more to look at now, that the sight of him no longer triggered any pain. She had ornaments to pick! The round ones looked most traditional, but Freya knew that a box would be easier to paint on. So she picked a nice square ornament and took it over to the station.

Freya took the ornament, and began to paint it everywhere with tiny drops of glue. After doing so, she literally box rolled it in glitter and tinsel, so that the contents could stick them selves on where she'd dropped glue. Then she plucked out enough buttons to make two eyes, and a big, creepy mouth. She glued those on, as well. When she picked the box up, it shedded glitter everywhere. "Perfect!" He hadn't bothered going to the deer to get patched up, and Brenley didn't put much thought into the ornament he grabbed either, picking up the closest one as Piper leaned over and used him as a pillar. He swallowed, then busied himself by turning the decoration over in his hands.

"I'm... sorry," he replied, patting her hand. "Besides the yellow, I am doing passably, I think." He stuck his hand into a nearby stack of decorations and pulled out a number of tiny bells, a smattering of smackaroni, and...
Brenley's brows dipped in mild irritation as his hand came back into full view and he realized what else he had picked up. Besides the more normal—if entirely childish—decorative items, apparently their reindeer instructors had also brought glitter. It clung to his bare arm up to his elbow, and no matter how hard he shook his glittering limb, it kept on sparkling.
"At least I was. I was doing passably. Jack deliver me."
He shook his arm again. It didn't help.round ornament; tiny bells, smackaroni, glitter

While the second boil wasn't quite as loud as Tavi... he certainly could talk a mile a minute. Neithan had been more than a tad bristled by the onslaught of questions. The first was simple enough, and one he actually would have answered. Till the second burst from the boil's mouth, and well. The demon shut down, growling out only a quick, "Neithan," to Van before moving away to help collect the escaped supplies.
By the time all was said and done though, his internal hissing had been shoved down deep and he was managing a much calmer view on the rest of the world. Even if he wasn't going to touch Van's second question with a fifty foot pole still.
Opting out of bandaids--really?--the now blue balrog listened to the newest instructions. He found himself a table to sit down at--one that he realized only a moment later also had newly colored Tavi and Van occupying it, though he kept a bit of distance between them out of habit. Keeping one hand locked around the preyons, he reached without much thought to the nearest ornament. And came back with a diamond one in the process.

They needed more than just the preyons and the ornament..? Neithan cast the guest professor a less than amused look, setting down his ornament to grab up the nearest... whatevers. Which, when he finally looked down to see what he'd gathered, wasn't... the smartest choice. He frowned a little down at the few random buttons he'd plucked off the table, but flat-out scowled at the little container of glitter he'd not realized he'd taken. Surely he could figure something out for how to put it all together. It just might... take him a moment. His free hand came down on another part of the table as he peered down at his strange collection, startling himself a little at the tinkling of bells his hand triggered. Picking up three of the tiny things, his eyes moved between them, the ornament, and the rest of his... er... supplies.
Neithan was beginning to get the vibe he wasn't of the most... artistic types.

She whined pitifully some more, though it lessened with the head pats. Thoroughly unaware of the invasion of personal space, Piper moved afterwards to grab her own ornament. Oh, a deer! Well at least maybe she could do something exciting . . .

"Ooooo boil, you need Jack t'do more than deliver you," Piper laughed, though she immediately stopped leaning and gave him some room. "You need a whole Boogeyman team to get that off!" She wanted to help him feel better about it, really she did . . . But it was glitter, Brenley. Her hair couldn't get exposed to that sort of nasty stuff.
Careful to avoid said stuff, the mage plucked out what looked like the appropriate decorations for her soon to be fabulous ornament. "Just focus on the class," she chirped at him, ringing the tiny bells gleefully. "We'll get you all cleaned up afterwards, promise~ Oooo, this'll be just like dressing a minipet up!"

Chilly wasn't much of an issue, considering they were already surrounded by snow and such, but being touched by some ghoul she had just met (and frankly, quite unnerved by) was a different matter.
She gave Olivia an uneasy smile, nodding at the band-aids before slightly shifting out of the other ghoul's grasp, glad to have a new activity to do as an excuse.
Picking out a square ornament from the pile, wondering what to do with it.

If their coloration and position was supposed to be a witty visual joke, Ruth certainly did not intend for that. Through most of the conversation, Ruth would just nod or shake her head or in some cases shrug her shoulders and throw her arms up in confusion. Or to cause confusion that was possible too.
When it came time for her to choose, she made a blind grab and got herself a square ornament. What was that saying, square peg with a round hole?

When the other two ghouls finished picking supplies for their ornaments, Ruth was just starting on hers. She may have studied their items of choice and waited for them to complete gathering before foraging for her own. She stayed away from the glitter, deciding she preferred the tinkling little bells that were shiny rather than glittery, the smackaroni (at Olivia's suggestion), and reindeer snot.
She was slightly disappointed to learn it was glowing paint rather than actual mucus secreted from a beast's nose. She held up the tube to the other ghouls for their approval.
