Thank you for the invite!! Now I'm motivated to be more active on Gaia~ Hi everyone!! I'm Mango, they/any pronouns, and I've been a Gaiaonline user since the mid-late 2000s. I was introduced to anime when I was a wee baby since my sisters watched Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball was on at night. Fruits Basket and Death Note are my only full manga collections. I prefer shojo/josei and magical girl stories, but can appreciate others~ heart It's hard to narrow my faves, so here were the top 5 most impactful to me as a tween. - Super GALS! Hi, I'm Katya, and I like old-school anime and C-dramas/wuxia. My main problem is that I can't afford anime, so I usually wind up cribbing fan-translated manga for the last uhhhh 20 years. Now that I have money, I also enjoy the fact that these things are occasionally available on Netflix!
I like FullMetal Alchemist (OG and Brotherhood), InuYasha, Robotech Macross, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Yu Yu Hakusho, Hunter X Hunter, The Way of the Househusband, Sailor Moon, Mo Dao Zu Shi/The Untamed, YuGiOh Abridged, DragonBall Z Abridged...
Yeah. I also love the hell out of abridged shows.

I kept my 2007 username but my name-name is Max, 31, been an og weeb since age 10 & grew up watching anime & listening to Jrock, going to anime cons (2006-2012), and ofc spazzing out abt it all here on Gaia heart

Hello, I'm Argie. Feel free to call me Dood, Arg, Argie, whatever you like that's appropriate I guess. I'm 29 at time of writing, and working on getting my PhD.
My parents got me hooked on anime pretty early on in my life with stuff like Sailor Moon back in the year 2000. My parents were VERY early anime fans, with my mom's favorite probably being Kimba the White Lion. I think my dad's might be Lupin or Speed Racer? That said, we're big Tezuka fans in general in this family, lol.
My top anime for the last few years has definitely been Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-Kun! but I'm a fan of the Isekai genre and love fantasy taken to logical IRL style and/or worldbuilding conclusions that aren't too too serious, such as Dungeon Meshi, or How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom. I also like some older ones, like Yu-Gi-Oh season 0 and Detective Conan, and I've seen all of the original Inuyasha and Ranma 1/2. Kaiba (2008 ) was also my jam. I was also around during the heights of Naruto, Bleach, etc etc etc but I never got into those, really. I've been going to conventions since birth; prominent people know me by name. I won't go into that.
My favorite anime movie is Metropolis (2001), hands down. If you haven't seen it, fix that as soon as you can.
I'm a huge animation fan in general. I'm a living encyclopedia about every cartoon I've ever watched, especially things like YGO season 0, Iruma, Star Vs. the Forces of Evil, Steven Universe, MLP: fim, and many, many more.
I've been playing Pokemon since the very first generation, and I've always been a fan. My Yellow Version in a yellow Gameboy designates where I live. Otherwise, I play all sorts of things, like Inscryption, Cult of the Lamb, TFT (but not LOL), Project Moon stuff... I tend to like horror, puzzles, deck builders, management sims with story, stuff like that, mostly.
My sister has always been into cosplay and I worked in her at-home costume shop for a while to the point I know some good techniques, but I've never really done my own outside of dressing other people, so I guess I make cosplays but not yet for myself.

It has been a while, I barely know what to do with an introduction, my signature pretty much lays it all out for you but I am friendly, a bit of a tendency to lose track of the days but I am not one for purposefully ghosting.
